Bonnie Snow's book "Drug Information" is a marvelous resource for information professionals seeking the best search tips and techniques for mining the complex world of the pharmaceutical industry, the drug pipeline, and government regulation. I can't begin to say how important this book is. Because the information world shifts rapidly, I hope she will have time to publish new editions every few years.

I review this poster daily, the detail is comprehensive, and the images bring to life the history of the earth. I bought one for a Teacher friend, who placed it in his classroom and the kids love it.

As the poster says, it is "an illustration of current theories regarding Earths history". - It helps in understanding our position along the vast time periods the earth has evolved through.

I recomend this to anyone interested in geology, science, archeology, the environment, and hey any "ology" -lol! Easiest way to understand what has happened in the last fifteen billion years!

Tourist Trains 2005 is the Empire State Railway Museum's 40th annual guide to tourist railroads and museums. Very highly recommended for the reference collections of dedicated railroading enthusiasts, Tourist Trains 2005 is also of considerable value for planning family vacations for those who want to incorporate their appreciation and enjoyment of America's railroads and railroading history into the life experiences of the children.

It's too bad the "new" price is several hundred $$, making it mainly within the financial realm of libraries only.

Even if it is an edition or 2 behind, the data is still of value.

If you're looking for different organizations in your area, look no further than the Encyclopedia of Associations. I was on a mission to find listings of non-profits in the Chicago area and I couldn't find anyone with a comprehensive list until I found this book at Amazon.com. The book is broken down by state and then by city so it is very easy to find what you are looking for. And as an additional bonus, the local chapter of national organizations like the American Heart Assoc. and American Lung Assoc. were also listed. A definite must have!

The Encyclopedia of Gemstones and Minerals by MARTIN HOLDEN, is one of the most satisfactoring reference book that I have read. Holden professionally combined visual elements and highly detailed information in this reference book. What makes this encyclopedia special is that the readers can easily find whatever they need to find without searching the index or reading the whole table of contents! Everything is alphabetical! If You need to find anything about crystal systems, what you need to do is just to check the letter "c". What you need is always there... And one other thing: You will be fascinated when you see the beautiful detailed pictures and highly informative text.

Having just bought a top end digital camera I reviewed several books on photography in order to learn some tips. I found this book to be by far the easiest to read and understand. Don't let the word 'Encylopedia' fool you - Mr. Davies breaks done every topic involving the use of cameras, explaining everything form aperture to zoning in a way even a rookie like myself could understand. Lots of color pictures and graphics.

Finally a good book that shows examples of authentication via LDAP. This has been an area of great confusion. The Enterprise Security Scenarios were helpful also.

Because all entries are submitted by industry professionals the listings are very comprehensive and numerous for all sorts of obscure and familiar items alike.
