Stickers Books

I thought this book is sticker book but it's not.
It is coloring book with two pages of sticker.
I think it is bit pricey for coloring book.
My I-can't-live-without-bunny daughter loved it though.

I should have paid more attention... this thing will fit in your pocket. Oh well. Pretty stickers, anyway.

The colors taught in the video are black, white, red, purple, yellow, green, brown, pink, blue and orange. I think that each color should have been written out on the screen but only 5 of the colors are spelled out. There is a nice variety of music for each color and lots of things that are that color. I like this video and think my little girl could learn the colors from watching it, but I also have Brainy Baby Shapes & Colors. The colors portion of Brainy Baby is very, very similar to Baby's First Impressions Colors. In fact, much of it is an exact repeat, but Brainy Baby does add in the colors silver and gold. There are a few other differences that make me prefer Brainy Baby Shapes & Colors over this one. You certainly don't need both. If you want a video that teaches shapes then I'd recommend the Brainy Baby since it covers both shapes and colors in just one video. I bought this for my 6 year old son since we are studying animals and their habitats for homeschool science. He doesn't use it much. There is a very nice variety of stickers and scenes, but the scenes to put them on can only realistically fit a few stickers at a time. They are slightly larger than half a page of letter size paper. You also have to be careful removing and replacing the stickers, as they are not as sturdy as one might like.

This book opens out into a two-page beach landscape which provides an open canvas for your pirate scene. Our three year old was thrilled to create his own pirate world with his Grandpa's assistance. It was a fun project; however, the stickers are a little thin for a small child to reuse on his own.

We received this workbook as a gift. The story-line is OK. I am not a big fan of teaching improper grammar and made-up words (i.e. Tigger in particular with "words" like "hiya," "bouncety,", "wunner" in lieu of wonder, etc.)

The story keeps the child's interest going from page to page and connects the skills on the pages together. If your child likes Pooh, this may generate some interest in practicing early writing skills.

Chapters are very brief but packed with infomation about the history of dogs.

A great book if you are interested in learning about the history of dogs.

This calendar is not bad but it can be improved.

This sturdy little book has six pre-cut stencils. The designs are a good size for projects, and are easy enough that kids can handle them, but detailed enough to delight adults. I've used them to decorate windows and party bags and cards. The insects presented here are a butterfly, a honeybee, a praying mantis, a housefly, a beetle, and a dragonfly.

Giselle longs for her true love. The Prince longs to find his true love. The wicked stepmother does her best to see that the Prince never meets any women so she'll keep the throne. However, even evil plans can run awry and then the evil queen must come up with a plan to keep herself on throne -- even if that means Giselle must be gotten rid of. A miscalculation by the evil queen has Giselle arrive in New York City where she is out of her element. Will she find someone to help her find her way home? Will she be locked up as crazy? Will the evil queen get her way?

In simple text with photos and drawings combined help the story unfold. Based on the Disney film it's upbeat and positive -- light on plot and with minimal characterization but fun nevertheless.
