I have many automotive books and this is one of my best. It goes over almost every part of my chevy in great detail. The book covers 2 and 4 wheel drive in great accuracy. I would highly reccomend this book to a 1967-present GM truck owner.

After looking at all the local car parts stores, I took 2 minutes to order this item here and 3 days later I had it. What more is there to say?

these chilton books are great if you are rebuildin your engine or even if you are just needing assistance fixing your vehicle.They have pretty much everything even picture diagrams. ide suggest this book if you are doing a weekend project or even a long term overhaul

The Chilton 1997 import car manual that I purchased was exactly what I expected it to be, it was delivered in a couple of days after I ordered it, and it looks brand new. I was completely satisfied!

This manual is not only informative, but its condition is amazing. Obviously used only in a library, it has no tears or grease marks as would be expected for a car repair book.

A truly great book. Well written with great photos. Has a very good history of the 912, detailing problem areas and the like. Excellent for the first time 912 buyer and indispensible for the the 912 owner. Fantastic just for the mechanical aspects of the car. Let's face it in many aspects this is one of the most obscure Porsches, many Porsche owners have never even heard of the 912. A lot of the other 912 books out there are old, as the these cars age, new problems arise that were not seen when these cars were 15 years old, it is great that a truly new book has been published.

Never have I experienced a book with such vivid Christmas images. Mary Sears uses her prolific sense of handmade ornaments and delightful Christmas surprises to write a book that really attracts fans of all ages.

It's never really too early to talk about Christmas for fanatics like myself. Even here in the midst of one of the hottest Summer seasons in recent years my thoughts are on bright Christmas lights glittering off the snow outside and the scent of pine and cinnamon inside. My wife and I have become avid crafters, making things not only for ourselves, but for friends and family as well. I never ceased to be amazed at the imagination and ingenuity that crafters show in creating items out of simple materials that can often be found right in your own home, or with a quick stop at a local craft store. My wife has always been big into a traditional country look, especially since we live smack dab in the middle of suburbia. The Country Living Handmade Christmas book is right up our alley with simple and inexpensive creations that range from the rustic to the elegant.

The book starts with simple, basic ideas for decorating your home such as various color schemes and using multiples of items such as small, pre-lit trees, wreaths, candles, plants, garlands, or holiday throw pools. Candles have become such a staple not only during the holiday season but year round and the lustrous scents of some of these can quickly get you into the holiday mood. There are a lot of great projects in this book, many which we made last year and are already making for this season.

One of the most simple is a Christmas ball tree made with a by gluing small glass Christmas balls to a Styrofoam cone, and then mounting inside a floral vase with some floral foam to help keep it in place. This is a great way to make use of old glass balls that you may not use on your tree anymore and makes for a great table centerpiece.

We collect snowmen and love making new ones. This book has several different snowmen than can be made very quickly and with items right around the house. For instance you can use old white tube socks, stuffed with foam, and adorned buttons, scraps of plaid fabric and then a tip of a colored sock for a cap. Other snowmen can be made from different sized Styrofoam balls, Paper Mache', and felt, all with their own unique looks. Patterns are included where needed.

There are lots of great projects to trim your tree with as well. A charming, rustic country design is to simply gather some twigs from your yard, and fashion them into the shapes of stars. Fashion the end points together using red twine or yarn or scraps of plaid fabric in seasonal colors. It's basically a cost-free decoration that fits the country scheme and always draws compliments from people who note your creativity!

An ingenious use of scrap fabric can be found in making Wool garland. Just cut old scrap wool or felt into 2" squares and run a strong thread through them, placing a button here and there and small Christmas bells or balls interspaced every few feet for a delightful accent on a table top tree. There's also patterns for making your own Christmas stockings out of old material as well. Now you know why we never throw anything away. Thrift stores are a great place to find old clothes for cutting up for these projects.

More and more people are making their own wrapping paper today and it makes a great change for that truly special gift for someone. You just need some colored paper which you can get on rolls from craft stores or even office supply stores, and then the paper can be adorned with painted stencil designs, rubber stamps, or sponge-painted. You can use the same techniques to make your own gift tags.

The book is loaded with brilliant, full-color photographs of each project and includes step-by-step instructions and materials list. You're really only limited by your own imagination. A truly superb book!

Using many manuals, manufactures (Ford in this case), Haynes, Chilton, etc., I can state that the information within the Chilton guides is easy to understand for any level repair or person making the repair. One need not be a certified auto mechanic when using Chilton, as they make the topics easy to follow and understand. I have also enjoyed the Haynes manuals on many vehicles however, Chilton covers a lot more topics and gives the average person the ability to save on their repairs. Always Chilton first.

My Husband was thrilled with this gift. I was really happy that I could help with the projects and it was simply enough explained that we didn't argue while doing them. LOL I have always known Chilton's to be the best home repair guide and I was happy to see that I could still get one when we got our new truck. I will forever buy these with every new car we get in the future. It's the "Bible" of home auto repair! Must have to save you thousands and keep your car running right so it lasts longer.

This book delivers! It seems exhaustive in the amount and depth of the services and locations listed. I have contacted a few already and have found genuine people at the other end that want to help me find parts for my Mercury Comet. I would recommend this book to all who are restoring, customizing or just fixing up a daily driver. It is an invaluable addition to my resources.

The "Ford Mustang/Mercury Cougar Parts Locating Guide" is an excellant source book for finding most if not all parts needed for a quality restoration of these classic cars.

I bought this book just for reference. But when I started to read the book I realized that some common things I have grown acustom to was actually a problem in the car. And this book showed me how to fix the problem. I was able to rebuild the entire front end of the car myself!! This book saved me thousands in labor...

I would rate it 10 stars!! But I can't!!!

I think that the book is extremely helpful. The only problem (so far) that I can't fix with this book is - How do I fix the rattle of the air ducts above the headliner with out butchering the headliner?

This book will allow you to take your mustang apart and put it back together. It's only limitations are: the electronics section should be more extensive, there should be part numbers with every item, factory paint colors, emissions could use some more detail, etc. But overall, this is a great book for the 1979-88 mustang, because we all spend at least a few hours a month doing maintenence to keep them from falling apart.
