Keepsake for the Keystone StateReview Date: 2004-03-28
Irwin, whose photography has appeared in National Geographic, is particularly good in his coverage of the plain people of Lancaster County. Irwin doesn't neglect any part of the state, however. An excellent keepsake for anyone living in or visiting this state.
A BEAUTIFUL PICTORIAL CELEBRATIONReview Date: 2003-11-04
There are breathtaking views of Pennsylvania Dutch country in autumn with towering trees lit by brilliant oranges and reds. Who would want to miss the battlefields of Gettysburg, an integral part of our nation's history? Picturesque covered bridges in Lehigh County merit attention as do the majestic Poconos and the Appalachian Mountains.
Mr. Irwin's unerring eye captures familiar scenes as well as little known treasures found in historic buildings and landmarks.
In addition, photos are accompanied by succinct captions which enhance the viewers experience. "Our Pennsylvania" is a volume to treasure and return to again and again.

F&F good as always...Review Date: 2001-05-21
And, of course, the Friedberg numbering scheme is the standard method of referencing notes among collectors and dealers alike.
It should be noted however, that the values given for the notes are very rough approximations (very conservative). This is especially true for the UNC grade(MS60-64). There are no values for GEM notes (MS65+).
If you're looking for a comprehensive note reference with ball park values, this book is for you.

A Pendelfin bible no collector should be without !Review Date: 1999-01-22
Absolutely brilliant!! - A real help for collectors.Review Date: 1998-04-21
It will certainly make it a lot easier to collect the more rarer rabbits as I now know what to look for.
It might be nice to have a folder or something similar to store records of rabbits bought and the value - that way you can just add updates when rabbits are introduced rather than having some information stored in Issue 1 and the rest in Issue 2.
I can't wait for issue 2!!!
Excellent No Collector of Pendelfin should be with out !!!!!Review Date: 1999-05-13

Fascinating clutter . . .Review Date: 2005-08-09
Meanwhile, their heads are filled with another kind of clutter - attitudes, poses, bits of storylines from movies, magazines, tabloids, and a dozen other forms of popular culture. The two of them inhabit a world of imagination in a suspended state of arrested development. One of them suddenly leaves with a boyfriend in search of their mother. The other becomes strangely involved with a grieving family of brothers. Recommended for readers who like out of the ordinary and not so obvious fiction that keeps you guessing how all the pieces will eventually fit together.

Plastic Bangles with Price GuideReview Date: 2008-04-09
SIMPLY FABULOUSReview Date: 2006-07-01
I agree with John's (reviewer below) assessment of pricing. I believe he was referring to self-serving pricing of which some authors are guilty. These prices are realistic and from what I see in the market place, prices that people are paying. This book has taught me to do my research.
The book is beautiful, well thought out and extremely well written. A must in the library of any serious bakelite or vintage plastic collector.

FANTASTIC PLASTICReview Date: 2006-05-02
Would I agree that there is an area of subjectiveness regarding pricing? Absolutely. But there is also a realistic price or perception as to what people see in a piece. In my experience, people are only willing to pay what they believe is a piece's value. Anyone can put a $500 price tag on a Diane Von Furstenberg bracelet, but that doesn't mean that it will sell.
As a dealer, I'd rather my customers have a realistic price guide as opposed to a self-serving "off the charts" price. All in all, I found the book to be helpful, exceptionally well layed out, beautiful in presentation, and worth every penny.

Life of Scot"land"Review Date: 2007-01-02
The title may be Portrait of Scotland but the land is alive in this book.
Each page conjures a sense of the romance that the very name of Scotland invokes.

Professional Wrestling Collectibles is a keeper!Review Date: 2000-07-10
The book also covers some of the history of wrestling and is a great book for novices and long-time collectors. There are great photos of some of the older collectibles that I have only heard about. My favorite chapters were the ones on the action figures, trading cards and autographs, which make up a large part of my 15+ year collection.
The prices listed are average, however, the value of the items in this market change so rapidly, that its hard to give a set value on some items. 5 stars to Mr. Pope and Mr. Whebbe for tackling such a huge task.

Put Some "Fun" and "Color" in Your CollectionReview Date: 2003-10-14
This new, professional guide is very easy to follow. Pictured page after page are a wide variety of treasures from salt and pepper shakers, planters, teapots, wall pockets, vases, plates and more. It will likely keep a reader interested from start to finish and could even leave some collectors desiring more because it's so much fun to look at. I was amazed and surprised to see many items I never knew existed before. I believe many of them cannot be found in any other books on the market and are pictured here for the first time.
I feel collectors and admirers of ceramic kitchen collectibles will wish to add this reference and value guide to their library. I plan on purchasing multiple copies for Christmas presents. Thank you, Belinda, for your efforts and dedication in obtaining this information for interested fellow collectors.
