I did enjoy the reading of the book and I would recommend to everyone who is interested in the business of higher education administration to get the book while it is still available. The author shares much of his experience and he shares his thoughts with some illustrations. The books i written in plain language and you will enjoy it very much.

Reading this book encouraged me as a supervisor to reflect on my practice, and is a helpful tool to improve supervisory skills, in turn improving the effectiveness of teachers.

In the first section, there is a discussion of the `Myths of Supervision.' Many of the myths encouraged me to confront my images of what the `ideal supervisor' should be. The book then looks at a developmental perspective of supervision. I learned that just as with children, doing the same for each teacher, is necessarily not the best practice. The book helped me to think about how such things as age, experience, and education play into the employee's expectation of their supervisor helping to define the relationship.

The dance between supervisor and supervisee as describe in this book helped me to reach new depths in my search for continuous improvement. As a supervisor, I have become more mindful of my supervisory practice. As I implement supervisory changes, I have encouraged teachers to truly become `Reflective Practitioners.'

One of the great lessons learned from this book is the similarity between best practices with children and best practice as a supervisor. This parallel awareness helped me to understand that supervisors who help teachers maximize their potential will focus on: the relationship, allow teachers to learn from mistakes, ask pivotal questions to deepen understanding of topics they are exploring.

I recommend this book to Early Childhood professionals, who have supervisory responsibility, including: Principals, Head Start Managers, Child Care Directors and Head Teachers who may supervise. Many of us assumed these roles without formal training, yet this book will give us things to implement and much to think about.

Very useful book (because of the actual concepts and innovations) for chemistry teachers in order to motivate the teaching and learning of this science from middle school to university.

Parents, this book is fantastic. The questions posed in the different sections help you to think about, and better understand and guide your teenager. I found many practical tips that you won't find in other books. Thoughtfully organized and full of insightful, real-life examples. This book really helps you to navigate the stressful process of choosing and applying to colleges.

The book has some main points about how Kirk Ferentz came to the team and brought a 0-8 to 8-0 in the Big Ten.

Two outstanding scholars Helen Fein and Joyce- Freedman Apsel present here an important tool for teachers of Genocide Studies. They outline courses of study, including syllabi and student assignments. And they provide a number of important critical essays on the subject.

This piece gaving information I couldnt find anywhere else. I feel I have a solid understanding of how modile technology can be implemented for health and educational purposes.

I never had the pleasure of meeting or learning from O.B. Hardison, Jr., but in just the first few chapters of this exceptional book I felt like I knew him. His character, his teaching style and the inspiration that filled his classroom comes to life with vivid recollections from his students.

I found it intriguing that his students always felt challenged by his brilliance, but yet they never felt belittled. Instead O.B. taught that he along with the students were all "comrades in learning." As a teacher myself, I was quickly reminded of what makes an instructor a great teacher. This book fluently describes O.B.'s ability to use memorable analogies; it describes his energy in the classroom and his joy of teaching. But what really strikes the reader is O.B.'s ability to connect on an individual basis with his students. He truly cared about their thoughts, their discoveries and ideas and he challenged them to be daring.

This book is an inspirational book that captures the essence of what it means to be a Master Teacher.

I highly recommend it to anyone who desires to become a better teacher whether it's in the classroom with students, with business associates, or at home with your own children.
