I recommend this book to every Christian. I finished this book in one night. Read it. It is a practical guide on what curses are.

This book is a classic on the subject:

I have worked in deliverance ministry and it is common for people to ask me how to break generational curses. Exodus 20 states that the iniquity of the parents is passed down to the children to the 3rd and 4th generation. This is why disease and other types of lack and perversions are typical in a family and are hereditary.

Sometimes we don't inherit a curse--sometimes we invite it into our lives through opening doors to sin, or even unforgiveness.

This book is helpful to give to people to give an overview of the power of a curse over someone's life, and the even GREATER POWER of Jesus Christ to break the bonds of Satan.

If you have a dark cloud over your head or something that recurs, then consider that there might be a generational curse that is keeping you from overcoming in this area. I have seen people who have repeated calamities such as accidents, many people die prematurely in a family, and many other types of oppression and depression. Suicide is a spirit - if someone is being seduced into commiting suicide they are battling a demon of curse. I have personally cast a spirit of suicide out of people and they no longer felt that overwhelming impulse to end their life.

I would recommend this book, and then looking through other books on the same subject. Amazon.com sells quite a few. Also, even though I don't like every single thing that Bob Larsen does in his ministry, I have met the man and helped out at his conferences, and he really does do a good work. Check out his website at www.boblarsen.org, I believe. He has "Spiritual Freedom Conferences" in many areas of the country, and also deliverance teams in many major cities. He also has a lot of books, videos and cassettes that can help you.

But first, get this book! It's very inexpensive and a classic for the shelf!

Silly, but entertaining.

Have you ever been cursed? You know, the usual: You're walking down the street minding your own business when, suddenly, you smell brimstone. The cement below your feet starts to heat up, and then the vague outline of a lesser demon appears. I hate it when that happens. So you whip out your trusty St. Vitus' charm, a ragged copy of the Good News, and a long, pointed stick and prepare to do battle with the forces of evil.

Above all else, this book will make you feel a lot better about yourself, knowing that there are so many much sillier people out there who might actually believe this hokum. But it is also scary, in that they might be your neighbors.

This is the BEST book out there on the breaking of ANY curse or witchcraft spell, written by a minister with a great deal of experience on casting out demons, Rev. Frank Hammond. If you own Frank's classic book "Pigs in the Parlor", you MUST have a copy of this alos great Bible based book on the breaking of all curses. As a person who has gone to a number of churches that help those afflicted with demons, this book is read by all, and highly recommended. With this book you understand God's spiritual world, you understand that curses are REAL, and you learn about word curses, generational curses that lead to illness and emotional problems, and also learn about witchcraft curses, that actually go on today. This is a MUST for all church and town libraries. Higly recommended by a born again Christian.

To concede human rights to a fetus is indeed the end of the abortion debate, but a disheartening end it would be for McDonagh and her adherents. To build a case for the use of willful and deadly force in defence against a fetus and its involuntary, non-deadly threat is a truly futile undertaking both in the judiciary and in the legislature. And to try and make this case to the American public? Orrin Hatch is licking his chops.

Still, and interesting thought in a debate that could use a shake-up.

very ingenious, insightful piece of work. the title isn't just arrogance - it really is a breakthrough, moving beyond the "it's a child! no it's not!" argument that passes for abortion debate these days.

just a note: it's a pretty meaty, academic book. not a beach read.

Hopefully readers will retain enough objectivity and common sense to recognize what a heartless and absurd argument Ms. McDonagh presents. I recommend you do not choose to buy this book; otherwise you will be consenting to an assault on your intelligence.

It's time we took action against these vicious fetuses. For too long they have been invading women's bodies and having their way with them. Fetuses are nothing but tiny rapists. These despicable parasites MUST be eradicated, and Eileen L. McDonagh has shown us the way. Remember the fetus is the cause of pregnancy.

Hard Premises

Review Date: 2000-04-18
Having read and analyzed thoroughly the work, I find that McDonagh poses a very strong legal case for reframing the issue of Abortion. I fall in the middle ground on the issue of abortion, not being able to fully decide my thoughts on this complex issue. But I find much fault with the basic premises of her argument that cannot get past. A legal doctrine is never based on exceptions and hard cases, which McDonagh constantly invokes (that being rape and incest). The postmodern legal deconstruction of sexual intercourse and pregnancy, and the rejection of accountability for one's actions are fundamental to accept her argument. If we were to accept her argument which disregards consequence for the willful engagement in risky behavior (percentages of an activity which do not result in negative situations do not absolve anyone) in favor of upholding the issue of funding for the tough cases (which she admits is always provided for) we lose our sense of need for respect and honor of the integrity of women. Her book fails the test of the fundamental premise, and I would love to see a follow up work convincing me of this foundational issue regarding intercourse and pregnancy.

I realized a few years back that I had been indoctrinated in ways that was difficult to recognize. Reading this book helped to "break the spell" that has been on me since I was a child. If you really understand what Freer is saying you quickly realize that this information rewrites a history that is in dire need of being rewritten.

Breaking the Godspell is an excellent parallel to Sitchin's concepts and ideas. The author is very intelligent and provides an important message for all of us. For too long we have been brainwashed and it is about time we considered other alternatives to the history we have been led to believe is true. Although the book is "heavy" reading, the message contained within the book is well worth sticking to the book until the end.

My first attempt to get this book included in a bibliography for persons interested in how to help institutional religion turn the corner into the coming millennium was unsuccessful. The compiler's excuse was that "archeological material is subject to interpretation."

Freer knows that Zechariah Sitchin's interpretation is masterful when he shows readers just how much the pharoahs knew--that we imagine was "discovered" in the last 100 years. Freer is a perfect student of Sitchin's. He reads out the implications of facing a realization that astronaut "gods" (from Nibiru) engineered the Adam and Eve whose genetic tracers all humanity has carried for more than 200,000 years.

Archeology is fast becoming a "futures" science...as the orbit of Nibiru brings it back toward our planet. Some suppose we will live long enough to see it through a telescope. Others fear its "ships" will precede it.

Let your children learn Sumerian, if they won't memorize Sitchin and cherish Freer.

I read this book with utter amazement. It was as if it was a detailed description of someone that we were dealing with at our church. We all got a copy and marveled at the caricature. If the author doesn't know this person he has got to meet her. It opened our eyes to the control demon and all his tricks and we were able to walk out of darkness into the light. Freedom! It's a good feeling.

You will probably read this book a number of times if you're engaged in warfare against the spirit of Jezebel. Through his inclusive biblical study, the modern day parallel is easily recognized as the author, not only points out the role of Jezebel, but the role of her eunuchs and Ahab, as well. Clark's incite concerning the overthrow of Jezebel through God's man, Jehu, serves as an excellent source of knowledge for dismantling this pricipality today.

I have personally read this book and it gives a broad sense of what witchcraft really is. The truth is when we think about witchcraft, almost immediately a mental picture in our mind is formed of warlocks, ugly wartnosed women cooking frogs in a big pot or flying on a broom stick with an evil sounding laugh. Surely this is how Hollywood portrayed witchcraft to us as did the oh so famous books called Harry Potter. Through this book I found out that witchcraft is much more subtle then I previously had thought. The author captured it for me and in detail described and articulated what I was going through mentally, spiritually and emotionally -- the confusion, loss of identity, control by others, manipulation, when others negatively talk about you in secret are all signs of witchcraft.

A recommended read for all who want to break free from the power witchcraft.

It was a very disappointing read, there's only one chapter on how to fight witchcraft and its only a few pages long, the rest of the chapters are on how to detect if someone is under the influence of witchcraft but from my perspective or at least what i got out of my read, it seems everyone around us is under the influence of witchcraft, my mother, my father, the clerk at the grocery store...ridiculous...for example do you have a friend that won't go home and takes up your time, there under the influence of witchcraft, that's ridiculous...or anyone who gets super spiritual with you when you try to have a normal conversation, there under the influence of witchcraft....total waste of my money... This book really concerned me...only because you might misinterpret general well being concern for "witchcraft probing"..

I definately do not recommend this book...

This is one of the best books that has been written on Spiritual Witchcraft. It is really excellent! It reveals tactics and pure truth that people need to know and it equips the reader to deal with this subject very accurately. It is backed up with scripture, so that the reader knows it is absolute TRUTH. It is well written, so that anyone can understand and benefit from the information. Everyone needs to be aware of this information - all Christians, all intercessors, all pastors, all who do deliverance, and all who do Spiritual Warfare. It should be in every library, especially in home and church libraries. I've given a copy of this book to many people and it was greatly appreciated. Witches and those who operate in witchcraft won't like being exposed because exposure hurts and leaves them defenceless. I highly recommend "Exposing Spiritual Witchcraft" to anyone who needs to know and wants to know the absolute truth. If you really want to know what's going on, this is the book to read.

I have not started to use this book yet but it really looks like a program that works if you work it- to paraphrase a 12-step mantra. I will have to form the habit of daily review of habits and I haven't broken through that barrier yet, but I further reading in the book should help with that. The program suggestions are very concrete and engaging. What is sometimes hard for me is remembering I don't have to understand all my motivations and dark corners to begin to change things. But I've come to see that is true.

unnecessary for simple habits
Helpful Votes: 19 out of 32 total.
Review Date: 2006-05-29
This book will be helpful to people with complex lifestyle bad habits such as overeating, gambling, and procrastination. But, for breaking simpler, unconscious, behavioral bad habits, there is an extremely simple method, which is not covered, and for which no book is necessary. These are habits such as biting nails, pulling hair, talking to yourself, picking skin, touching acne, cursing aloud, where it is difficult to quit since you don't think not to do it until after the fact; i.e. there's no moment of deliberate decision before you engage in the behavior.

The method is as follows: First, it is probably necessary to consciously make some kind of effort to stop the habit---e.g. biting your nails. So if you realize you're about to bite them, or have just started biting them, then consciously prevent yourself or stop immediately. But, as everyone knows, the willpower method by itself is usually unsuccessful. The idea is to choose some kind of personal forfeit as "punishment" for the behavior in question. Then, whenever you realize that you have just bitten your nails, you perform the forfeit. (Of course it's necessary to consciously realize you've bitten your nails, after the fact; but one usually does realize this when one is trying to break the habit---the problem is you don't realize it until it's already too late.)

The forfeit can be anything that is (1) something you would typically NOT want to do at random times on a moment's notice; (2) not so onerous that you might actually refuse to do it from sheer laziness; (3) not, in itself, potentially habit-forming; (4) can be done anywhere, at any time. Examples of forfeits I have tried or considered are: (a) going to a dictionary, finding a word that is new to you, and learning its meaning; (b) multiplying two two-digit numbers together in your head; (c) choosing a random date and calculating its day of the week in your head (using Conway's Doomsday algorithm); (d) making yourself listen to a particular song you hate, in its entirety; (e) doing ten pushups. Although I haven't tried it, (a) is nice since it has the side-effect of improving yourself in some way while breaking the habit; but it requires that you always keep a dictionary handy.

The single most important thing in applying this method is not to cheat and not to delay. That is, every time you bite your nails---even if you just started to---immediately perform the forfeit (or at least do so within a minute or so). Do not delay, or "pretend to yourself that you did the forfeit", or save up multiple forfeits and do them all at once, later, when it's more convenient.

You will quickly find that the sneaky brain becomes aware of the fact that every time it unconsciously decides you should bite your nails, your conscious mind will come in and make it do some work it doesn't particularly want to. This makes you become aware of the habit before you actually do it, and gives you time to choose not to. After some time, you will stop wanting to at all and the habit is broken. (This method also works for instilling positive habits, e.g. brushing your teeth within ten minutes of dinner---just do the forfeit when you realize it has been more than ten minutes and you haven't yet brushed your teeth.)

This cure does not, of course, address any root causes of the habit.

Hope this helps and makes buying a book unnecessary for some people. Others, who want to change more complex behaviors may find The Habit Change Workbook a valuable resource. Good luck!

I am the webowner of Mental Health Today.

This excellent workbook will teach you how to deal with behaviors such as nail biting, skin picking, trichotillomania and addiction in regards to shopping, tv, internet, and gambling. Also focuses on changes in sleep habits, health & fitness, and relationship problems. They state the book can assist with obsessive compulsive disorder with further help.

For chemical dependency issues, you are advised to seek professional help first and then use the workbook for overall lifestyle changes.

This workbook could not have come at a better time for me. I've been working out for 6 months and out of the blue it is no longer fun and I'm now beginning to gently slide into my old workaholism pattern. I know that my old gym schedule needs to be changed and at the same time my work load at home has increased dramatically and I feel lost on how to organize my life and get myself motivated to get back to the gym and fight my workaholism.

The workbook comes with just exactly what I need. Help in changing my thoughts and requires me to come up with a plan of action. For me, it has been a lifesaver and the timing could not have been more perfect. I recommend it!

I don't know if I'm obsessive compulsive or not, but I have a few habits that I engage in that I believe cause me guilt and anxiety and that I cannot quite get a handle on. I first checked this book out at the library and found myself quickly wanting to photocopy most of the pages. So, ultimately, I bought the book.

The book is full of worksheets and record charts - it seems 50/50 in terms of lecture/practical application. If you are into that, fine. At first, that put me off. I didn't want to write that much stuff down. But when I got further into the nuts and bolts of changing the habit, the pages I wanted to copy became greater and greater because the ideas and exercises were so thought-provoking and led me to eye-openers and ideas of how to change my life that I couldn't seem to grasp before.

I don't know if I'll use this system step-by-step, but the good thing about the book is that I believe it still works and is an invaluable tool for self-examination whether you follow it that way or not.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the beginning was a bit tedious for an impatient self-starter like myself and to warn those who don't want to do any self-examination and just want a lecture to check this out at the library first. Otherwise, I really think that you cannot lose by having this book and I'm glad I'll have it in my library for years to come.

This is a simple, but thorough book about Night Eating Syndrome, a quick read (only 167 pages), but full of information. It starts out with assistance in evaluating if you have NES...however, I think that this book would be helpful to anyone who overeats at night, whether or not they fit all of the criteria for NES.

It includes chapters on how to rule out other eating disorders and physical disorders, the biology and psychology behind night eating, hormonal involvement in night eating, types of night and eating and suggestions/plans for overcoming each. The interventions are pretty predictable, but still helpful, including journaling, imagery, relaxation, and other behavioral interventions. Support, medications, perseverance, and Internet resources are also discussed.

All in all I thought it was a fine, easy to understand book about a little-discussed disorder just now coming to public attention.

I love this little book (little in size, not in spirit). Besides revealing a New Jersey that many often do not see, I think the poems reveal a genuine heart... in the unabashed and deft tradition of James Wright. I will always remember lines as well put together as "The shaggy trees in all/Their quiet darkness grow/Dignified against the milky rim/Of dawn" in the book's opener, "Daybreak in Succasunna." The little turns of each line, the pacing, and the intelligence of simple adjectives and nouns are vivid throughout this book. Playing off of the title of a well-known poem of Wallace Stevens, in "Anecdote of the Car," Zulauf writes, "The slovenly wilderness is up to the axles." A deeply observant and well-wrought image. But he goes on: "What thanks can I return to you for being?/I am so happy. The hell is out of me now/For a while." This is a book of deep tenderness and grace, one that yields its treasures more as you keep reading. There are moments so understated, the words seem to disappear, and we are left with a clear view of the world, forgetting that we are looking through words. Sander Zulauf is a careful craftsman, making what's difficult look easy. And we are the lucky readers.

Having lived in nearby Landing and going to school in Succasunna for 4 years, I can say that this area of NJ is small town life! It blows to bits the image so many have of the state as an urban industrial mess. We are really talking houses, yards, trees... think Iowa or somewhere in the mid-west and then reread.

A Minaturist with a Small World of Provincial Feelings

There's nothing compelling in either the language or the subject matter herein. Zulauf is a lazy observer of life who lacks orginality and zest. His work is both provincial and predictable. No great poetic grace or originality. Life in a small town with a few hard knocks and longings. Not awful, but not very interesting poetry and rather provincial in both tone and concern. I'd call this little booklet, his only poetic output, okay, but nothing to write home about.

Not Much Universal Appeal Herein

Review Date: 2001-05-11
There is little universal appeal in these provincial little poems set in a small New Jersey town. Since this is the author's only book of poetry, I'd classify this work as the work of a minaturist who has nothing to say about the larger aspects of this troubled world. I'd hoped for more concern about the issues of our time as they relate to New Jersey, one of the state's most faced with environmental disasters and pollution problems. I'd expected some real sense of life in New Jersey and why the Northwest area of which he writes is so in need of natural preservation as it becomes daily more innundated with ugly developments of houses that all look alike and sport no trees. I'd hoped for something more vital than what seems lazy, provincialist concerns. These are quiet, lazy, little verses that barely wake us from slumber in unimaginative language--rather colloquial. There's a bit of sardonic wit, but not much else, except as the author relates here and there to the sorrow of his divorce or the sadness of death. Then he strikes a note of poetic angst which isn't altogether bad.

Eventhough Christie only wrote one chapter here, this reads and feels exactly like one of her own books. The set up is quite impressive, with the floating admiral of the title found sailing along in an abandonned boat with a dagger in him, which is all explained away by the clever and quite natural conclusion. Despite going on about tide flows and boat paintings and rope cuttings, the characters to this crafty piece are all quite believable, considering several writers made them move and speak. All is well by the end and a satisfying summary to the events beforehand is smoothly explained, so you can skip past the silly alternate outcomes the authors each come up with in an unneccessary, sort of epilogue. They add nothing to the main story but a lot of what ifs. (That said, Christie's solution of the murderer in drag is hilarious...) P.S. Some rather foolish stereotypes can be found in the narrative which doesn't distract from the story. They're just there, like a disturbing sign of the times.

The Detection Club books are unlike any other ever created. Basically, Agatha Christie and ten other authors (for The Floating Admiral) contribute pieces of a murder mystery without sharing what solutions they were leaning towards until the APPENDIX at the very end. Each author has their own solution and has to work within the framework of all the other clues contributed by the others. More of a game than a murder mystery, it's a fascinating read, but you shouldn't try to read too much of it at one sitting.

This book is written by more than Agatha Christie. So those expecting to read another Agatha Christie Mystery Sorry! But you won't be disappointed. The Floating Admirmal is very interesting in that each chapter is written by an author of mystery in one form or another. This is fun as you see the writings of others. It is cool how each author gets their chapter to flow with the chapter before and after it. Chapter 8 is the hardest chapter to get through and a little boring as it is in list format Where as I feel it would have been more interesting if the inspector was talking to someone. Otherwise smooth sailing afterwards. The story ends with finding out the killer or is he/she really the killer Read on and you decide who the real killer is maybe you have your own ideas as to who killed the admiral and why. A good workout for the brain. Have fun reading and solving this unique mystery

As a fan of writers Agatha Christie and Dorothy L. Sayers, I was intrigued by this book, which includes other authors such as G.K. Chesterton and their fellow members of the Detection Club. This club is a private society made up of British mystery writers. Together, this club decided to try their hand at writing a communal mystery: each author would write a chapter and supply their own solution to the crimes committed. The result is "The Floating Admiral", a mystery which is surprisingly well-paced and just as an ingenius a tale as one would expect from the authors connected with it.

Early one morning, the body of Admiral Penistone is found floating in a boat adrift on the river, a stab wound clear in his chest. Inspector Rudge arrives on the scene to begin his investigation and immediately meets with several obstacles: most importantly that several people who may be involved with the case act in an extremely suspicious manner. The Admiral's niece, who needed her uncle's approval for her marriage, runs off to London after learning of his death. The vicar, with whom the Admiral dined, is certainly withholding information; after all, it was the vicar's boat that the body was found in. Inspector Rudge knows that there is more than meets the eye, and is also convinced that some incident in the Admiral's past is connected to his murder. But how can he prove it when nothing is as it seems? He even begins to wonder if the dead man was the real Admiral Penistone - stranger things had happened.

"The Floating Admiral" is a novelty among mystery stories. The prologue written by G.K. Chesterton seems extremely obtuse until the entire plot is explained at the end. The story coheres well and the events are sustained, in spite of the fourteen authors' hands that stirred the pot. At times, with each proceeding chapter, one can tell that an author is trying to change the course of the story a little unsuccessfully, which can make the characterization uneven. But all in all, each chapter builds to a satisfying climax. There is an appendix provided at the end, in which the authors gave their solution to the mystery: Agatha Christie's solution is most funny, but the real solution worked out by Anthony Berkeley, with all its twists and turns, is icing on the cake. While definitely a bit dated in places (especially with the Admiral's past in China) the nature of the crime and the solution of it stand the test of time.

A Hard-to-Find Curiosity

In the early 1930s the cream of British mystery novelists formed an organization named "The Detection Club," the purpose of which was to encourage superior writing in the genre. No sooner was the club founded than its members embarked on a game of sorts: they would write a murder mystery together. The result was THE FLOATING ADMIRAL.

The Gregg Press edition is the most desirable printing of this hard-to-find novel I have encountered, opening with a 1979 essay by Detection Club member Christianna Brand (author of such novels as GREEN FOR DANGER and DEATH IN HIGH HEELS), who recalls the history of the club and sketches memorable portraits of its members. This is followed by the original 1932 introduction by Dorothy L. Sayers, in which she describes the process by which the novel was written: each participating author wrote a chapter in turn, remaining consistent with the plot as created in all previous chapters and with a specific and justifiable solution of their own creation in mind.

The authors who played this literary game create a roster of the finest English mystery novelists of the early 1930s. After a prologue by C.K. Chesterson, creator of the famous "Father Brown" mysteries, there follows chapters by Victor L. Whitechurch; G.D.H. and M. Cole; Henry Wade; Agatha Christie; John Rhodes; Milward Kennedy; Dorothy L. Sayers; Ronald A. Knox; Freeman Wills Crofts; Edgar Jepson; Clemence Dane; and Anthony Berkeley, better known as Anthony Iles.

The story itself concerns Inspector Rudge, a rural officer who is called to the scene of a peculiar murder: the body of Admiral Penistone has been found stabbed to the heart and floating in a small boat on the River Whyn. Not only are the circumstances odd, it soon transpires that there are several people who might have interest in his demise--including his peculiar niece Elma, her possibly undesirable lover, and her missing brother. But although the premise is something of a classic, the novel largely runs aground due to the scattered approach of the participating writers.

This is not to say that any of the authors involved write badly. It is to say, however, that as the novel progresses each writer has considerably more difficulty in lining up the endless parade of clues offered by those who have gone before to create either a cohesive narrative or a reasonable solution. So the end result is like buckshot: a story that seems to fly in so many different directions that it has no long-range strike. Even so, fans of 1930s murder mysteries will prize this novel as a hard-to-find curiosity--and they will be particularly pleased to note that most of the authors involved offered very different solutions to the crime, many of them more interesting than anything in the text itself and all of them collected in a neat appendix.

I normally enjoy all of Ms. Civil-Brown's books. NEXT STOP, PARADISE was cute with the giant egg on the beach. However, I don't feel the same about this one. Maybe I was just having a bad day, but I ended up scanning through to the end. Not a good sign with me.

Despit Richard Wesley III, an attorny, Mary, a gutsy octogenarian, is ruled incompetent by Judge Dipshot. And thus begins the story.

Erin Kelly, a young friend of Mary, takes matters into her own hands and begins using all the tactics she has learned from Mary to fix the situation. Mary's long time suitor tries to help as well. Richard tries to keep all the pandomonium to a dull roar as he tries to help Mary legally.

Although this book references previous books and characters that were introduced in other books by the same author, this is a stand alone novel. And a good one it is. I was chuckling and mad and enjoyed the book completely.

Enjoy.

Breaking All The Rules, book 5 of the Paradise Beach, Florida series of Sue Civil-Brown (aka Rachel Lee) brings you another romantic comedy or better yet, a soap opera with humour and fun. Anything could happen on this island with Mary Todd in residence and running the show. Readers will either hate or love this book because of the outrageous, insane and confusing plots and incidents. The earlier books in the series are Letting Loose, Chasing Rainbow, Catching Kelly, Next Stop, Paradise. If you like to try this series, the best way is to read them in sequence.

In Paradise Beach, Florida Circuit Court Judge Frederick J. Dipshot rules that octogenarian Mary Todd incompetent and names her nephew Linus responsible for her and her estate. Mary's attorney Richard Wesley III did a great job representing his client. However, unbeknownst to him the senior citizen had a reason to lose and by refusing to testify on her own behalf, it cost him the case.

Erin Kelly is outraged that her friend Mary has lost her independence to an unprincipled loser like Linus. Erin begins a campaign to rescue her buddy using the very tricks that Mary taught her. Richard tries to stop Erin because he knows only through legal channels can Mary regain her freedom. The devious Mary observes the twosome fall in love while trying to trump one another even as apparent mob warfare seems to be playing out on the beach stage.

BREAKING ALL THE RULES is a humorous return to Sue Civil-Brown's unique take on the Sunshine State. The story line is outrageous, wacky, and fun as Mary plays puppeteer in her usual havoc style. The antics of the lead couple and key support cast will delight those in the audience who find paradise in an amusing contemporary romantic romp.

College President Dolores Cross takes marathoning to a different level with her candid autobiography of "breaking through the wall," both personally and professionally. This story is a must read for everyone, particularly young people and those who feel that the odds are often against them. Dolores Cross shows how the art of marathoning for her has served as a figurative and literal victory for her success. We can all gain a great deal from this woman's provocative, sometimes painful, journey through life.
