the lessons are real easy for a teacher like me (who doesnt like science too much) to use. I saw it at a conference and liked what I saw.

Outstanding photography and graphics depicting the career of this exceptional fighter pilot of WWII. Jerry Crandall is a recognized expert in WWII aviation and especially the Luftwaffe. I highly recommend this book to aviation historians and modelers.

This book brings home my belief that creating your space is not a daunting task but an enjoyable moment.

This book is be no means the only sewing book one should own, but it is a MUST HAVE! This book is a staple in any home and should sit next to Martha's Home Manuel and The Joy of Cooking.

I was so excited with the variations of 9 patch designs I stopped all my other projects to start a new quilt. I like the work pages where you can see how variations of color completely change the same block. I'm starting with 2 color variations for 1 block so completed I can have 2 quilt tops. Most of all Im having a lot of fun with this. Templates are included and instructions are easy to follow. I'll probably use this book a lot.

Don't let the rather crude looking sam on the cover fool you. This book has some great ideas from two different table saws to a jointer and even some ideas on shaper knives. The part I liked most was that the instructions had just the right amount of detail to cover the rough spots but left the rest up to you, it is after all going to be your tool. Also for the price its hard to go wrong.

{Farley} takes a sweeping approach to the topic and aims to place the technological changes in ammunition manufacturing into a broad social and cultural context following the spirit of work by Merrit Roe Smith, Judith McGaw, and Robert Gordon. This approach requires that Farley skip over many topics and give cursory empirical support for assertions about industrial change in a short text of just over 100 pages. The result is an intriguing survey of the early changes at the arsenal that raises numerous questions for further research. . . . This readable book raises a host of issues about the transformation of military manufacturing and the development of machinery technology. Farley hasdone a valuable service by offering evidence that suggests the commanders andleading machinists of the Frankford Arsenal may have played a major role in this transformation beginning in the 1850s; this arsenal, thus, deserves more attention by business historians.

Making a mobile internet site is pretty straightforward when you know how, but there's little information about how to get going. This book does a great job of covering all the basics from design, to implementation to launch and marketing.

With over 200 million cell phones in the US today, creating a mobile web site is a must-do for any business and an exciting new avenue for anyone tracking the fast evolving internet. I've built several mobile sites (also called WAP sites) already, run off the Bango service and with the help of this book looking better than ever. Sections on handset compatibility, user interface design, promotion and how to use mobile paymnet services this is essential reading for anyone wanting to create a mobile internet presence.

A solid, classic pattern. I am pleased to have it available in my quilting library. Makes up into beautiful quilts.

This book was full of helpful information and great photos of the equipment. The photos showed the full machine, from the end of the boom to the ground. The captions were explicit and informative, including such items as how many were constructed, boom length, bucket capacity, years of production, and weight. It's an easy read and a marvelously helpful reference. The photographs were in no particular order, but this turned out to be only a minor negative because of the index at the back of the book listing the model numbers and the page.

This book is so far one of the best technical books, I've ever had.
The material is so well presented and organized, that it is hard to find in any other books.
The author has presented the material with clarity, conciseness and problems that logically follow the material.
It is a very good material for mechanical engineers preparing in Machine Design portion of PE exam.

I hope the author has in mind to create books like this for ohter mechanical engineering related disciplines, like thermo and fluids.

I'd say this is a must book for every single mechanical engineer.
