This book, like "Cows" and "Chickens" in the same series, is rather mechanical in its approach and is not fun to read, but
does contain some useful information for kids.

Tucker Hale: Black Sheep. Bush pilot. Scarred--both inside and out. Never stays in one place too long.
Harley Sayers: Named after a motorcycle--the only unconventional thing about her. Sweet. Sexy. Vulnerable.
Returning home to make peace with the old man was a painful experience for Tucker. Especially when house- sitter Harley "welcomed" him, baseball bat in hand! They were forced to share the place until his absent father returned--which meant playing by Harley's rules. No smoking. Moderate exercise for his damaged leg. And no sleeping with the help...
But the rules didn't cover what would happen if Harley fell in love...

If you are considering this book only for the goat information, save your money and look for a different one. I purchased
this book for the goat information and I found that 2/3 of the book is about sheep and the rest is old, obsolete information
related to goats....especially meat goats. This book has not come up to speed related to the major changes that have happened
over the last 6-7 years and some of their statistics are from 1994. The majority of the goat section covers dairy goats, angora
and cashmere goats. The major part of the meat goat information concerns the spanish goats. Sixth edition must mean they have
published the goat information six times...not updated it for the sixth time.

All I had to do was read the poorly written Product Description to know that this book isn't worth reading. And from reading
other reviews if the author is the one that wrote the Product Description I can be pretty sure that they either never took
an economics or business course or received poor grades in any that they did take. I can further assert that they have scored
poorly in the school of hard knocks as well. 1. Will the Fair Tax be revenue neutral? It attempts to be, but tax revenue will
probably increase due to increased economic growth. Of course government will grow so it can spend the extra revenue. They
would never think to pay off all the debt they've saddled us with. 2. Will 23% be sufficient? Yes, but is any amount of tax
ever sufficient for government bureaucrats? 3. Will Employers pay the Payroll and Withholding tax to their Employees currently
being deducted from their checks, or will they Keep it? Whose is it to start with? The employees don't own the jobs or the
revenue of the business. The business owner does. It is the owner who is taking the risks and they own the rewards. If the
employees are worth more, the owner will pay them more. 4. How much will the Fair-tax Prebate Cost? A lot less than Welfare.
5. Will the Fair-tax effect the amount of our Social Security Benefits? Yes, we'll actually get them instead of the system
going bankrupt. We'll also have more money to invest in our own personal retirement accounts which won't go away when we die
like Social Security benefits do. 6. Will we have to start Paying the Fair-tax on items Not Currently Tax Now? Yes, haven't
you read the Fair Tax book? We already pay imbedded taxes on everything so everything is already being taxed. Duh. 7. Will
the cost of goods and services Increase, because of the Fair-tax? NO. That's the concept of revenue neutrality and removing
the imbedded taxes. There will be a transition time when prices will be all over the place, but that is called the marketplace.
8. Who will the Fair-tax Benefit and Burden the most? Everyone. Just like today some will benefit and some will be burdened.
I suppose you think everyone benefits equally under socialism since that seems to be the form of government you'd prefer.
There. I've written a review of a book I haven't even read based on the questions in the Product Description. Please send
a donation to the charity of your choice in lieu of purchasing this book. Unless of course you need bird cage lining.

I'm not one for denial of free speech, but this book should fall under false advertising. A friend recommend the Fair Tax
Book so I ordered the original, along with the follow on, and wanting to get both sides of the issue, I also ordered A Wolf
in Sheep's Clothing. This is not a book; this is a rant which is poorly written, with poor spelling, grammar, as well as
being incapable of making a point... if there's a point to be made by Mr. Warwick as well.

Pure opinion from a 1997 WVU graduate, teaching history in a middle school. Self-publication can be a dangerous thing, if
readers don't bother to check the credentials of the author. Hopefully, material of this kind will be recognized for what
it is and not taken as useful information.
Clearly poorly researched

The Author's questions on the back page are all complaints answered in the first FairTax book, let alone the second. If you
are a recent costumer at Amazon you'll notice the product review is a bit skimpier and poorly written then most. Carry that
right over to the book, its the same way. The research, notes and sources are inadequate to say the least.
Perhaps the worst book I've ever purchased and tried to read.

Don't waste your money or your time on this book. I've read the Boortz/Linder book on the Fairtax, and came away with some
questions and uneasy feelings, but I was still open-minded about it. When I saw the title of this book, I thought it might
be interesting to compare notes.
This book is so poorly written and badly organized that it is virtually unreadable. The author makes repeated grammatical errors (there instead of their, since/sense, then/than, loose/lose, run-on sentences, sentence fragments, ... it just goes on and on). The explanations of his (often error-filled) calculations are incomprehensible. There is absolutely no information regarding who the author is, so we can't draw any conclusions about possible motivations for writing this book (and I use the term "book" very loosely in this case). There isn't even a table of contents or an index. The writing is so bad that he absolutely destroys any credibility that he might have as an author. If there were valid arguments to be made against the FairTax, this author certainly fails miserably in making them.
So instead of being better informed as to the potential drawbacks of the FairTax, instead I've got this silly excuse for a book, and I'm out several bucks and the time I've spent trying to decipher it. Next time I'll be sure to read the online reviews first, and trust them. (As of the time this review was written, this book was rated 1 star by 39 of the 43 previous reviewers.)

Basic "dog" book more concerned with selling dog products
Helpful Votes: 6 out of 7 total.

Review Date: 1999-02-19
The book contains three small chapters about the OES that are very generic and non-informative. The rest of the book is filled
with "basic" information about dogs and is not OES specific. This can be dangerous to an OES owner as the book doesn't address
special nutritional or health needs of the OES. Please do not be fooled by the book. It contains lots of photos of the
OES, but I have the feeling the same basic book is sold under many different titles with new pictures and covers. It also
contains a ton of photos of products that you can buy for your dog.
If you want to learn about training your dog then get "How to be your dogs best freind" by the Monks at New Skete.

From the description or title of this, it looks like an anthology of books in a new style, when in fact it is a freebie from
Steeple Hill to people on their mailing list giving just a short excerpt of what the stories are about. It isn't worth the
time or money to order it, as it only has 92 pages & touches on the stories of FIVE different books.

Poorly translated. Doesn't match poetic intent nor tempo.
Translation is a bit of an word for word english repetition of text rather than concentrating on the poetry. After all it is poetry that is being translated. Without knowledge of the Hebrew, poems appear very bland and soul-less.
