My granddaughter absolutely loves this book. The format of word per page with its illustration is perfect for children of 1-2 years old. My granddaughter & I have a lot of fun acting out or finding the illustrated word. She is currently 19 months old & now initiates acting out the word or finding its illustration. It is one of her favorite books.

A Pink Rabbit Tale is a charming story about being different and fitting in. I love that it was a story the author created for his daughter and then developed into a book. What a wonderful thing to do! I definitely recommend this book to anyone teaching their children about friendship and confidence.

I grew up reading this book; it is one of the best out there

I grew up reading Plaid Bear and the Rude Rabbit gang, and have to say that it is one of the best books that I have ever read in my life. This book teaches kids how to deal with rude/'bad' people, and why you shouldn't be rude to other people.
The thing about this book, however, is that it's not a preachy kindergarten-ish book, it's an interesting story, illustrated with wonderful, humerous pictures. I highly recommend this book to kids and adults alike!

Great pleasure for curious 2-year old

Our granddaughter has loved this book, largely, I suspect, because of the manipulability of the stickers. The drawings are well done, which is probably more important than having any real story line.

This is also terrific for traveling, as those wonderful "colorform-type" pieces that our kids knew as children tend to stay put during an airplane ride.

I am now looking for other, similar books, hoping to find another that will be such a winner.

Read to Your Child to Improve Bonding and Intellect!

Researchers constantly find that reading to children is valuable in a variety of ways, not least of which are instilling a love of reading and improved reading skills. With better parent-child bonding from reading, your child will also be more emotionally secure and able to relate better to others. Intellectual performance will expand as well. Spending time together watching television fails as a substitute.

To help other parents apply this advice, as a parent of four I consulted an expert, our youngest child, and asked her to share with me her favorite books that were read to her as a young child. Play With Little Bunny was one of her picks.

This book has five scenes with Little Bunny in them. In the first, she is going to build a tower with blocks. In the second, Little Bunny is painting a picture. In the third, she plays dress-up. She also makes music in another scene. She reads a book before she goes to bed in the final one.

Your child is encouraged to help Little Bunny by helping her find her blocks and building with them. Your child also helps Little Bunny get some colors for her painting. When Little Bunny plays dress-up, your child can add her hat and shoes. Your child also helps her get her drum and bells. And your child sings to Little Bunny. Your child also helps Little Bunny find a story and relates one to her.

The stickers are wonderful because they are of see-through plastic, and they stick really well. It is pretty easy for your child to peel them from one spot and move them to another one.

As you can see, this book basically puts your young child in the position of playing the role of older sibling or parent for Little Bunny. Because the stickers can be put anywhere, your child will have endless possibilities of how to use them. My daughter would decide that she wanted to put them all on one page. After she did, she would laugh and laugh.

Through playing a nurturing role, your child can begin to unravel the mysteries of how adults and older siblings think about younger people and animals.

Overcome your stalled thinking about what your child is capable of in terms of coordination, thoughtfulness, and imagination. You'll be glad you did, and your child will love you all the more for it. You'll have a ball helping your child with this book. Learning to read can be a ball with than this book!

Pok'along, Ground Hog and Charlie the Chicken are as different from each other as night is from day, but still they become good friends that can depend upon each other( what you look like isn't important). The story shows that once you start something you should finish it regardless of the difficulties. Pok'along and Charlie love to taunt Ground Hog about being the leader ( a cute idea that caries through the book ). Overall an easy book to read that keeps you guessing about what's around the next corner. The double ending is new in that the reader can help determine where the story goes next. It's a story that will keep an adult interested while reading to a child. I highly recommend this book for summertime reading.

Gorgeous gift

The photo up above does not do "Bunny Wishes" justice. This is an adorable little box with Mary Engelbreit-like illustrations on the outside, a board book (that's the book's cover, up above) on the front of the box, and a gorgeous stuffed bunny rabbit jack-in-the-box inside. The little bunny pops out of his box when the book is opened, to "read along" with the child, and he's got his own little board book, a companion to the larger book, clasped in his arms. A lovely, lovely item that makes a perfect gift for any child.

Gives a nice overview from a child's perspective.
