Another in a series of delightful books that we read to our son when he was 2...We now read it to our grandson who is almost 2!

When I think of childhood companions, Miffy and Hello Kitty make that list. This was my favorite "Miffy" book when I was young and now that it is popular once more I can read it to my 5 year-old sister-in-law. "Miffy In The Snow" is young Miffy's adventure in the lovely winter white powder that all kids adore! Miffy is such a delightful character for any young (or young-at-heart) person! If you have any ankle-biters in your house, "Miffy" is sure to please. And even if you don't, "Miffy" is sure to bring back some fond memories!

This book is a staple for any mother or babysitter. Simple yet interesting and colorful, it holds a young one's attention while still teaching them basic language skills. I liked it very much, and my children like it even more.

I thought this was an adorable book. As I was reading it, I kept thinking what a wonderful book this would be for Valentine's Day.

Derby Downs persuades the other young bunnies to ignore the advice of the elder rabbits and start building houses above ground, even though the wisdom and experience of the oldsters suggests it is safer to remain in the burrows underground. This is a book in a series by Stephen Cosgrove that are so wonderful and the illustrations are beautiful. My child wanted them read over and over.

The latest entry in the Disney Bunnies series, this picture book has an important message: it is perfectly fine if some kids take a little longer than others to make friends. The lush, full-color artwork will delight both kids and adults, as it brings to life an idyllic, and often realistic, flower-filled world. It may make you want to watch Bambi all over again!

The story describes how Thumper makes friends with a shy hedgehog. Thumper and his sisters are playing tag in the forest one summer day when he finds a little hedgehog sleeping under a tree. Thumper tries to be friendly, but the prickly creature rolls up into a ball and is too afraid to speak. He tries to make her laugh with a feather, and offers her sweet berries, but she stays still and quiet. Thumper asks his papa what to do, and the older bunny advises him to give the hedgehog a little time. So Thumper and his sisters go back to playing. A while later the hedgehog quietly asks if she can join in the fun.

When looking at the product, it says "paperback" and doesn't clearly state the biggest selling point for this entry into the Disney Bunnies Preschool Book Series... It's a BATH BOOK! Gorgeously illustrated and a cute story and its waterproof too. My daughter loves the bunny books and was thrilled to have one to take in the tub with her. A great buy and nice find...

Disney is making quite a splash with the Bambi spinoff series for toddlers - called Disney's Bunnies. This installment is a thick, sturdy board book that is filled with various things to touch. Smooth rocks, the bunny's big fluffy tail and many more, give a tactile feel to the book. The pages are of excellent thick quality that will take alot of abuse. The story is simple but cute, and the gorgeous artwork depicts all sorts of beautiful nature scenes from our forests.

A very beautiful Touch N Feel type book that will delight toddlers and even younger babes with its friendly animals and touchable sections.

This was one of my favorites when I was a child, and I think it bears reading over and over again. Doctor Rabbit finds an abandoned tadpole and raises her to froghood. The cast of characters, including Nurse Mouse and others, is irresistable. And though the story is one of the sweetest there is, it is truly simple and sincere, with no trace of Disney-like saccharine. The ending is bittersweet, because even orphaned tadpoles grow up one day, but this ending is one of the things that makes this such a special story for a parent to read with their still-small child.
