great to read to my child, there is a nice rhythm to the words. But I also use it to tell my husband how special he is! Could definitely be used as a Valentine's gift!

I first checked out this book from the library and my 2 yo son loved it. It's simple but very sweet. There are two characters and one is telling the other how special they are to each other. It's easy and fun to read. This would also be a great gift to a special loved one or friend. It's like a big hallmark card.

Some of the stories told in this book (in flamboyant language, no less) are absolutely terrifying, and I wonder what they would think of today's preservative-laden foods and items made from products which don't exist in nature.

I wonder what people will think of modern technology in 70 years.

This is another great Angelina Ballerina book -a bit more "advanced reading" than the picture books. It is a nice book for the transition from picture books to chapter books since it has black and white pictures inserted through text and very short chapters. We are anxiously hoping for a 5th in this series!

I am so impressed by all the books in this series/line! My 18-month-old daughter loves them, and I even enjoy looking at them. There is almost always something I didn't notice the last time, and we both enjoy looking at all the things that are going on in every single picture.

Even the way the books are shaped is neat: the one about pirates is shaped like a pirate ship. The one about the old woman's shoe is shaped like a shoe. And so on. And the pages are some of the thickest I've ever seen in a board book, so I know they're going to last a long time if they stay dry!

I highly recommend any/all of the Charles Reasoner board books to other parents. They are utterly enjoyable as well as being very sturdy.

I read this book to my child and it's excellent! Actually i know it's only for children but i enjoyed reading it too! It was absolutely lovely! i really recommend this book to others. It was recommended to me by my good friend, Liz. She is also lovely. But this book shows children the aspects of homes and sharing and should not be selfish. This is important for everyone to learn, and the sooner the better. So read this book!

This is one of a series of 3-D children's books that is just great. Not only are the stories cute, but the thick cut-out pages of the book create a great looking display in a child's room. A great gift item for small children and their parents.

This story is very small but also very touching. It provides a good lesson in helping people and animals and in priorities. I really look forward to reading this book to my class.

Adventures of Countess Pigula: "Her Royal Imagination" is a picturebook intended for young readers in grades K-3, about taking proper care of a pet guinea pig. Though the title guinea pig Countess Pigula is slightly anthropomorphized, her regular routines from feeding time to bath time to toenail trimming are all standard tasks guinea pig owners need to perform, though related in the snooty tone of a noble receiving proper tribute from her "subjects". "When it is time to clean her lovely cage of blue, she will want the best above the rest. No ordinary bedding will do. 'Nice job! Ahh! There is nothing like the smell of fresh pine bedding. It is my favorite you know. Now, don't forget. I insist my bedding must be at least three inches deep. Anything less just will not do.'" The final page spells out responsibilities and rewards of being a guinea pig pet owner. A "must-have" for any young person considering a pet guinea pig of their own.

This book has been very popular in my third grade classroom. This book along with the others in the "Hector" series are consistently checked out of the classroom library by my students. As a teacher I am always excited to find books that capture my students' imagination the way these books have. The kids are drawn to the books by the individual adventures that each story offers, and keep returning to the stories because of their repeated themes of friendship, devotion, and connection to home. These are themes that all my third graders relate to. We're hoping that more will come in this fine series.

I highly recommend "The Adventures of Margaret Mouse" for all children from kids that you read to through elementary school. The author has written books that are easy for kids to understand, yet they are exciting and fun stories - that in the end - leave the child with a moral value - a lesson learned. They are just the right length. I have both books for my children and eagerly await the rest of the series. I hope Cherokee Wyatt never stops writing them!
