A good book. I love the Nancy Drew on Campus series. I just want to know when the next book is going to come out, and what it will be called, and what it will be about (meaning number # 26). This one is sweet, about Terry falling for Nancy, and then Sean finding his aunt although it's sad that the mother is dead. Oh, and Eileen and Emmett are so cute toghter! There is a major chemistry there!

She was enslaved by desire and branded by passions flames.

Celiese, the lovely slave girl, gasped when her betrothed emerged from the shadows. She had been secretly sent in her mistress's place to wed the much-feared Mylan. But instead of the cruel savage she had expected, he was a magnificently handsome warrior. His cool topaz gaze unnerved her. The fire in his touch sent shivers of unfamiliar desire down her spine. And the sweet madness of his burning kiss as he trapped her within an iron embrace made her forget her past, abandon all reason, and surrender herself-if only for one night-to the pleasures of passion's fire. Mylan stared in astonishment at the woman before him. Instead of the spoiled, pampered innocent he had expected, she was a radiant silver-blonde beauty. The hot flush of her cheeks disarmed him. Gathering her into his arms, he silenced her startled protest with a slow, wanton kiss and awakened her supple flesh with tender, searching carresses. He would teach her the secrets of passion, take her to ecstasy's searing heights, and forever possess her captive heart.

Hometown Heroes

I never gave much thought to those trips to the Main Hotel for fish sandwiches, watching the Chartiers rush by in the wet winter months, or walking down by the railroad tracks skipping school when I was a kid. Now, I have a newfound appreciation of my old hometown(Actually, I consider myself a Scott Township native, but it's up the street and around the corner from Carnegie).

Reading about Hometown Hero Honus Wagner, Steel magnate Andrew Carnegie and his generosity, and all the colorful characters who made up Carnegie's history had me entralled in Sandy Henry's new book.

I was captivated by the pictures. The nuns on the boat in flood just cracks me up. It's worth buying the whole book for that picture alone.

I loved this book! Nancy Drew does it again with a dangerous case! This time the case is when Nancy hears the Famous Deejay scream on radio, of course Nancy is on the case! The people say that the Deejay was kidnapped, but the end will surprise you big time! Unless you are a SUPER detective like Nancy Drew it won't be THAT easy to figure out the case. There were action parts that would keep you at the edge of your seat, and suspense parts that will keep you wondering. There were interesting suspects too. I'm telling you, buy this book! I give it 5, yes 5 stars!

Young fans of eight-year-old Nancy Drew will learn tons of new things about Chinese culture, as Nancy's class prepares for a Chinese New Year celebration. There's going to be a parade, and the entire art class is going to create the dragon as a group project.

Somebody just doesn't want the parade to happen! Could it be the stuck-up girl in class who seems to be the likely suspect? Have no fear, Nancy Drew will pull out her trusty blue notebook, and like a true detective use logic and reason to assemble clues and identify every suspect until the case is cracked!

The Chinese New Year Mystery provides a good storyline and educational backdrop that will be of value to Nancy Drew fans for years to come.

Recommended!

Once again, young Nancy Drew fans will follow along with the entire Clue Crew solving a mystery in an intriguing setting, especially fascinating to girls.

There's a Cindarella ballet being staged, complete with glass slippers for Andrea, who has been cast as the lead.

Of course, alls well that ends well -- but not before readers follow every twist and turn to the satisfying conclusion.

Big trouble at Camp Little Big Top!

There's three rings of trouble at the circus day camp that Nancy, Bess and George are attending this summer! It's run by real circus people, who are teaching their students to perform real circus acts.

Oh, it all promised to be lots of fun, with dog tricks, a painting elephant, a clown, bright and shiny circus costumes! But somebody has dognapped Celeste the Hopscotch Poodle! And the list of suspects is growing!

Thank goodness Nancy Drew never goes anywhere without her trusty blue notebook, so that every clue and suspect can be documented 'till the Circus Act case is solved!

2nd grade daugher loves the series
Helpful Votes: 3 out of 3 total.
Review Date: 2007-08-04
My 7 year old daughter (just finished 2nd grade) loves this series. She has read almost all of them (including the older "notebooks" editions) this summer. We don't know what we'll do for an encore when she's finished, as the regular Nancy Drew books are still a little long/ intimidating for her (each of these is only about 70 pages). She likes solving the mysteries, but also loves having the familiar characters in every book. We highly recommend them, and will give them as gifts to her friends in the near future.
