I have to declare that I know the author, we are both Vietnam Veterans from the same combat Engineer (RAE) unit.

I only ever knew Ken to be a soldier for many years. His talent as an author was hidden. Here is a text written with rare style and compassion by the first Aborigine to graduate from the Northern Territory University.

This is a wonderful and exciting adventure full of mischief and fun with Sarg, his dog Old Troop and the Rainbow Fairies. My daughter and I were engrossed in this book as she read aloud to me, being challenged by new words and looking forward to seeing what the characters would do next. This one has become her newest and favorite book to read at bedtime. You won't regret buying this one!

As the author states in the beginning of this book, it is not a historical account or individual memoir. Instead, it is a journey into the nucleus of the SAS. The PATROL is the tool used to propel this account, which is the basic SAS fighting element. This book takes you through selection and training of patrol members, preparation and execution of patrols in Borneo, New Guinea, and Vietnam. This book spares no detail of operational patrols, from the warning order to mission debrief, it is all covered here. The book reads more like a how-to book highlighted with actual accounts of mission debriefs, this is just a treasure of lessons learned, that still apply today. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the Special Air Service (SAS), or anyone that is in the military field of Reconnaissance, scouting, sniping or special operations.

A fantastic overview of German tactics and doctrine, at the philosophic level, on the eve of World War II. I particularly enjoyed the sort of foreshadowing you see in this work of the coming of air and armor tactics that are still experimental at the time of the work's completion.

This book is wonderful! It details the history of Airborne Warfare from the 19th century up till the book was written. Differant chapters detail the history of Airborne Troops from differant countries which include America, Germany, British, Russian, and more oddballs. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Paratroopers.

This is the best CD I have heard in an extreme long time. Every song on CD is excellent....Very positive message for the youth of today....I gave this CD to our youth choir director...Yes, the songs are being taught to our youth....Buy it, you won't regret it.

Well written and easy too read, when you have started reading it is not easy to stop.

This is a one stop reference guide to the major CT units of the world, with a heavier focus on the US. It's the best I've ever read, very informative, highly detailed with excellent write ups and photos.........a must have!
