Must Have Reference For Granger or Phillipson Bamboo CollectorsReview Date: 2006-08-19
All other reference books such as Keane (4-6 pages), Campbell (5-10 pages) surprisingly has little valuable information so if you are a collector of Colorado made bamboo fly rods, this is the book that you will need to own.
There was only about 180 hard cover copies of this book ever printed so they are EXTREMELY RARE. There was only about 1,800 of the soft cover books ever printed making this one of the most scarce bamboo fly rod books. The author Michael Sinclair and his co-author Dick Spurr wrote this excellent reference book. Dick Spurr was also the publisher who passed away a few years ago and the business was shut down so it is unlikely this book will ever be reprinted.

A Mile Higher Quality!Review Date: 2000-03-30
Some of the recipes that we whole heartedly endorse from the book are: 1. Shrimp with Coconut (Udand Kelapa), 2. Coleslaw Dressing, 3. Crispy Waffles, 4. Vegetables Al Forno, 5. California Bouillabaisse.
There are more recipes we have tried and enjoyed as well. The book is a bounty. Like Colorado itself, the book represents a colorful array of cultures, tastes, nutritional choices, ideas, and menus for everyday and special occasions.
The additional benefit to the University of Colorado Norlin Library is not to be overlooked. Norlin is an outstanding library that has a history rich with offering students, faculity, and the community at large a resource that is world class.

Impressive Peaks!Review Date: 2003-12-16
This calendar has some impressive photographs. The view of Ellingwood and Blanca seen from the Little Bear ridge conveys the feeling of the stark massiveness of the rock. The Wetterhorn haloed by a triple rainbow at sunset is quite unusual. However, I could not find an identification of the cover photo. (Todd Caudle has sent me a note saying that it is Snowmass Mountain.) I recommend this calendar for anyone who is a fourteener fanatic or who likes mountain photographs.

"Colorado Christmas" contains three really special love stories written around Christmas time during the 1880s. Each one is special in its own way. There is an underlying Christian theme in each of them. What really made this book stand out is that these are good, clean, faith-based stories that can be enjoyed by several generations in a family, from grandma down to the granddaughter. Family values are also very strongly reflected within the stories. I think that this makes "Colorado Christmas" a very special book because it can be left out for everyone to read during the holiday season.
I really appreciated that the men, that the women fell in love with in this story, had integrity, valued honesty, and stood by their faith. That is so rare to see in most romances. The three stories themselves were also very interesting and enjoyable to read. Rosey Dow doesn't need to rely on sex scenes to be able to capture your attention. How refreshing!
I recommend "Colorado Christmas" to romance readers groups, Christian women's group and to families who want to be able to share reading wholesome Christian stories with each other. These stories will leave a warm place in your heart. Reading "Colorado Christmas" would be a great way to bring in the holiday season.
