This book contains six sturdy pre-cut stencils of swampland animals. Each pattern is strongly outlined in just a few parts, providing a bold design of the creatures. I used these to make a big swampland mural-style poster, but there are dozens of things you can use them for, including putting designs on walls, windows, cards, or anywhere else. The animals in this book are an alligator, a dragonfly, a black skimmer bird, a diamond-back terrapin, a muskrat, and a spring peeper frog.

This is a book with 4x6 cards that you can tear out. Made out of cardstock, each card has one animal on it, along with the name of the animal. My girls enjoy these.
Since each card is one animal, small animals appear as big as large ones, which could be problamatic if you wanted to make a realistic scene using more than one of them.
Good for pencils and crayons, okay for markers, cannot be used with paint.

This book centers on fun (planned and unplanned) with small, informal groups. This book is ideal for the young at heart, regardless of their age! With this book, you'll be able to enjoy a dozen or so friends and send them home at the end of the evening completely refreshed and talking about the fun they had at your gathering! At your next party, keep the TV and music off and enjoy each other with active games, quiet games, impromptu stunts, and just plain fun! Especially good for kids and young adults. The book is also loaded with practical advice for party leaders on how to create a relaxed atmosphere in which any party will thrive! Also ideal for church groups and gatherings. In summary, this book is about how to have good, clean fun with any small group.

Dr. Leder's book provides an accessible and useful guide to the sometimes daunting task of attending to our interior lives. The pratical instructions in the introduction provide helpful suggestoins for making the most out of the games that follow. The games presented are sufficiently varied to allow a wide array of readers to find at least a few, and probably many, comfortable points of contact. Even if the games themselves were not helpful (and they are), the bibliography of suggested additional reading at the end of each chapter would be worth the price of the book.

This was bought with the big book of Garfield excuses and both were enjoyed. Its good for younger kids and keeps the Garfield fan entertained.

I like Evan Moor products. They have fun & informative hands on lessons as well as reproducibles. I may get the e-book next time so I can just print items off instead of having to go to the copy shop. This book was a little less informative than others so you may need additional resources but if you want the basics this is a good start.

I thought this book was very helpful in finding ways to liven up my classes with my younger students. Everyone knows it's not easy to come up with something new and fun to do and this is a great book that helps with just that. It's got games for kids in kindergarten up to grade school and has helpful hints on safety for your kids. It's also got a chart that helps with finding the best games for different levels of experience for each youngster. I'd say that it is a fun book and a great find. I think it is well worth the price I bought it for.

This book is very homogeneous in its suggestions and gives the reader a consistent feel when describing all aspects of Halloween decorations, games, and recipes. Reusing designs for various decorations gives the book a recognizable flavor. This makes completing projects a manageable task for a harried parent, instead of throwing elaborate but unrealistically complicated and time-consuming designs at you.

The line drawings might seem initially to be low-tech, but in fact they spark the reader's imagination and give you a greater sense of creativity.

The book emphasizes child safety in all activities. Your children can actually help with many of the preparations.

Finally, Halloween Fun is good value for money.

This book is great for children who like finger games. It has bits of trivia, activities, ideas for making handshakes that are meaningful to a group of friends, etc. There are also several pages devoted to sign language.
