I had read it in local library before I ordered it. I gave it to a member of my family with a small child to read it. It is well-done and illustrated. I would highly reccomend it- both for families with small chhildren and for adult reading as well!

"Adolescents in Crisis" is a valuable resourceReview Date: 2001-11-20
In this book, Wade Rowatt focuses on the underlying reasons for school violence. Plus, he focuses on many other areas that are causing crises for today's youth.
This is a very detailed book that will require careful reading. It is full of insights that are both frightening and enlightening. If you are a parent, someone who works with youth, or even cares about youth, this book belongs in your library.

The terms are not too technical, but some might require a little refresher. I would still recommend this book to first time coaches with little to no coaching/football experience.
There are a couple of grammatical, typographical and "cut and paste" type errors. They do not distract from the useability of the text.
I highly recommend not only the book, but the DVD video series.
