I can not adequately relate in words just how much I enjoyed this book. Mr. Reynolds has always been able to captivate me with his writing, but never before has he given me such delicious shivers. As I read this book, I had to constantly remind myself that I wasn't reading something from Stephen King. I was haunted by the characters, wondering if I would have the same courage to face such demons were I in such a position as the heroine of the story. I read the first half of the book in one day, and actually had to force myself to draw the completion of the other half of the book out to two days. I could no more have waited longer to finish the book than I could make myself invisible. I was drawn into this book, held hostage by the talents of Mr. Reynolds, shivering everytime I turned the page. I read the last page with a mixture of relief that I was freed, and regret that my captivity was over. I have since read the book twice more, and highly recommend it to old and new fans of Mr. Reynolds. If you've never read his work, by all means, begin with this one, you WON'T regret it.

Once again, Dr. Trumbull shows his capacity for research and his ability to bring what could be an arcane subject to life. This in-depth look at the Threshold Covenant from ancient times around the world to the present day (late 19th Century for Trumbull) is one of the best books written on this subject even though it was first written in the late 1800's. That this book is a true classic is shown by the fact that no one, in the last 150 years, has produced a book equal to it. Excellent resource for understanding this fundamental covernant, the Threshold Covenant

Reading this book took my enjoyment and understanding of War and Peace to another level. I am greatly pleased with the authors perceptiveness, simplicity and revealing insights into the novel. His profound understanding of Tolstoys methods and ideas has added to my pleasure when thinking about the book, and I can now see quite clearly why it is the great novel it is, why people are so overwhelmed when reading it and why it appeals to the human spirit so. I strongly urge you to read this superb criticism, and heartily thank the author for contributing so much to my enjoyment of Tolstoys great novel. I do not put forth a summary of this book for fear of diluting the authors original and clearly explained ideas.

Finally, a book that is not legalistic and is supported by the Bible. This book is a godsent to me as I had too long heard too many legalistic, etc. people. Divorce isn't an easy road by any means. Remarriage, after divorce, has its pitfalls too. This book shows how both should be done Biblically. Many "church" people who have not been through a divorce should read this and show the divorced individuals the love of Christ.

This book is anointed and appointed for such a time as this! This author will have you looking to see just what God is going to do with her next. The contents in this book are, without a doubt, God inspired. The prayers are directly to His throne. I really love this book because it will make you stop and think about where you are with the Lord as well as where you truly want to be. I am looking forward to my transformation. As you read this book I dare you to take the challenges and be blessed. With confidence I know that you will want the same for others.

I had the pleasure of being professor Ahl's student for an entire year studying both Greek history and a great deal of ancient and modern tragedy under him including Trojan Women. Unlike other translators , Ahl makes painstaking efforts to capture not only the meaning of the original text but also the "feel" of the text which oftentimes includes a great deal of wordplay and many other subtleties that translators are unable or unwilling to capture. Given that, Trojan Women by Seneca, which is in some ways a "remake" of Euripides Trojan Women and in others a highly original masterpiece, is one of the best tragedies of all time and is recommended because of its timeless themes of life, death, war and the treatment of the conquered by the conquerors that it addresses. I highly recommend this play and all other translations by professor Ahl.

An idyllic love affair in Vernazza, Italy, changed Suzanne Lane's life, she found herself pregnant and alone. She married another man, and they raised a family. But she never forgot that one heavenly time, or forgave. A return trip to the Mediterranean shores years later was a dream come true, until he arrived.

David Marshall should have had the appeal of the devil incarnate, but Suzanne could no more resist his seductive lure than when she was young and in love. Even as she succumbed, she feared the results. If either David or her daughter learned the truth, the consequences would be devastating...
