Campbell Books

This was my first time ordering a used book and all I can say is that it was a great expierence. The book was in great condition and we recieved it in a timely manner. Great job.

Perfect start for that new cook. Most recipes call for ingredients that the average person has in their kitchen cupboard. Even has some dessert recipes using cheddar cheese soup or tomato soup. Yummy.

This small book is just the right size for little hands and holds many delightful surprises. Each two page spread has an item that can be removed from a pocket such as a tiny paper chain, a letter to Santa, a 3-d gingerbread house and a little Christmas card or a lift-the-flap activity to do. The story follows brother and sister Sam and Amy as they prepare for Christmas. My daughter loves this book so much that I had to buy a second one to have on hand just in case she misplaced the first one. The only reason that I didn't give this book a ten was because of the British wording which is sometimes confusing ; Father Christmas instead of Santa and Christmas biscuit house rather than gingerbread house. All in all, a great little book!

It is a surprise book for toddlers. To be able to lift the flaps and see what is underneath creates a big smile on their faces.

I like the book and whoever gave me it I really like it. I like the part where they go to the restaurant. It's really small and a mouse would read it. There are all the little things you can take out. It's fun!

A must for all Mozart lovers. It raises ones awareness,enabling one to take a look at oneself.Seeing oneself, reminds one that the undesciplined side to us has to be improved. This book enables one to do just that.By providing the strength one needs to carry the task of self improvement, in ones daily life.

I had my doubts--how much could a classical piece of music relax or "inspire" a restless, ruthless 2 year old? I casually put in the first of the boxed series titled, "Relax, Create and Draw" (or close to that) and within 20 minutes my 4 year son and 2 year old tantrum throwing daughter were at the table drawing--no kidding--with no coaxing on my part. It brightens our mood and is a lot better than the Rugrats!!!

Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences (MI) has fostered avenues of reform and change within our educational system. As a veteran teacher I have heard about MI but have never experienced its full power. This book brings me closer to realizing the tremendous potential of teaching with MI theory. Campbell and Campbell have put together a book that describes how six schools across the United States have provoked change within their educational systems. Each of these six schools has some common characteristics but has shown differences in their MI implementation. The clear storyline and visual charts in this document make this book an easy read that should inspire teachers at all stages in their careers. You do not need to be involved with an MI school to gain many insights from this book. Its reflective situations and structured organization will increase your foundation on MI theory as well as inspire you to look at the learning styles of youth in a whole new way.

I think this is a refreshing and appealing look at how curiosity will make you do things. I could not put this book down. I had to see how the prostitute was killed. The author did a good job of selling interest in his story. I would gladly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery/murder novel; but don't take my word for it, buy it, and read it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this because the literature says your baby can hear music from within the womb. This helped me through the long tough days at work which in turn was a benefit to my baby.
