Again tunis proves he is one of the greatest writers for boys. This book was phenomenal. Tunis wrote very well. I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK because it was very well written. Anyone who loves books will love this.

It can be kindly said that this book is blasphemous! BUT only as a harmless opinion of original creation - not just of the universe, but of God, Himself. It's a point of view based on the author's dissatisfaction with what may be regarded as the traditional story of creation.

Little time is spent on that revelation, however. After all, what else can you say after asserting that God was the first accident of evolution?

The book tells the story of a high ranking compound (He/She)spiritual being who volunteers to play a game of survival on a pleasant little planet out there somewhere. Not Earth, however! (That comes later.)

HE becomes separated from SHE and they spend a few thousand years traveling the universe in search of each other.

We learn about their adventures as they experience different lives in different places.

The thread of interest is in the semi-awareness of spiritual power burning inside the main character as he lives out his final adventure on planet Earth.

Finally, he reunites with his other half in the spiritual realm. It's a long, drawn out story, BUT it's worth the read if only to have your personal suspicions tweaked regarding your own spirit nature and your own frustrating search for your elusive soul-mate.

There are so many recipes that are really good! And such a wide variety of stars. A must for any cookbook collector.

The information in this book is far more worth the dollar value. Mr. Douglas is a talented writer and extremely wise man. The book's focus is on correct lifting technique, with a few pages discussing program design. It is similiar to Muscle Mechanics by Everett Aaberg, but describes more excercises. It also debunks many resistance training myths and explores the use of high-risk exercises and their appropriateness. The "10-step any exercise drill" will help you choose the right exercises.I highly recommend this book to anyone who resistance trains, and wants to do it effectively, safely, and for many years to come. Check out his other books if you want expert advice on training.

Based on a true story, Candy Stevens' Eight O'clock Blues is an adroitly written novel, set in the 1970s, and centers on Sophia, a young, religious, middle-class woman who takes a job at an automotive giant and has her illusions of corporate benevolence shattered. Daring to challenge the authority of an entity governed by greed, Sophia becomes embroiled in a test of wills that threatens to crush her. Eight O'clock Blues is a gripping, involving saga of a white-collar worker pitted agains devious and endemic corporate mismangement.

The years come and go as voyagers, bringing as souvenirs the latest waves of haiku--one crest of which can be found right here in this slim little volume. "Einstein's Century" wonderfully introduces selections from the lifelong poetic endeavor (so far) of one contemporary haiku poet, Arima Akito, starting with some of his latest haiku in 2001 and slowly working backwards through the decades to his first poetry book in 1972. A renowned nuclear physicist and educational administrator as well as haiku poet, Arima brings a keen empirical eye to this ever minimalist verse form while infusing it with a refreshing cosmopolitanism born of his world travels, all while remaining rigorously though innovatively true to its technical requirements. Simultaneously, a subtle but unmistakable sense of human warmth and a sparkle of gentle humor enliven the collection in a manner typical of only the most accomplished haiku poets. The poems themselves are given in carefully sensitive English translation along with the original Japanese (also parsed into romanji), a practice which should be but by no means always is standard with works of this nature. Finally, on a personal note, some of Arima's haiku included herein come from when he was doing research at Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago, and it's quite a lark to see the Windy City's extremely peculiar climate and culture reflected in the verse form pioneered by Matsuo Basho all those passing centuries ago. But time and space are relative, after all.

This is one book a math student should buy

The Elementary Algebra book is in very good condition. I bought the book new and only used it once.

This text is one of the best on the market at the current time and the website that accompanies it is awesome. Although the price is a little steep it does get used for two semesters and has the most ancillary material available. Enjoy the math Dee
