This book contained a large amount of information situated within case studies. There were one or two case studies per topic (i.e. depression, anxiety, OCD, etc.)

THIS IS A VERY TOUCHING BOOK OF CASE STORIES ABOUT CHILDREN WITH DISORDERS. EACH CHAPTER IS A DIFFERENT CASE STORY DEALING WITH CHILD PSYCHOPATHOLOGY. THE STORIES ARE SOMETIMES SAD BUT REALLY WILL OPEN YOUR EYES TO THE TERRIBLE TRAMA MANY OF THESE CHILDREN HAVE TO GO THROUGH GROWING UP. TAKING A LOOK AT THE ENVIRONMENT THE CHILDREN LIVE IN, THE WAY THEY ARE TALKED TO AND THE OTHERS ARE TALKED TO IN THE HOUSE, MAKES A PERSON REALIZE THAT OFTEN THE PROBLEMS WE SEE IN CHILDREN ARE ACTUALLY THE CAUSE OF THEIR PARENTS.
EACH CHAPTER HAS A SECTION ON ASSESSMENT, TREATMENT, ETC., FROM THE THERAPIST POINT OF VIEW. IT REFERS TO THE DSM-IV AND LIST THE CRITEREA FOR DIAGNOSIS.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO CARES ABOUT CHILDREN AND ANYONE WHO HAD SOME TYPE OF TRAUMA GROWING UP. I ALSO RECOMMEND IT TO PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS OR ANYONE INTERESTED IN PSYCHOLOGY.

The work is extremely insightful and a good thought-provoker. I became familiar with it in college when it was a favorite. Recently picked it up again and realized it was decades ahead of its time. Recommended.

Cattle in the Cotton Fields is a wonderful account of thecattle history in Alabama. I was very impressed by the writing ofMr. Blevins. I highly recommend it to anyone who might be interested in the subject matter.

If you're a Scout leader looking for craft projects or a parent planning a child's party, this book is full of great ideas for you. It is divided into sections by season. Each section has recipes, games and craft projects. Ideas are included for holidays, as well as first and last day of school, springtime, summertime, and wintertime. Most of the projects can be done by children over the age of 9 with minimal adult supervision. Directions are easy to follow. Materials are easy to find. This book contains clear photographs and illustrations.

This was a very fun book to read. It was very interesting finding out what the celebrities favorite receipes were. Some were quite tasty too!If you like to find out about celebs then this is the book for you. There was quite a unique range of them.The pictures were very nice too. All in all very enjoyable reading!

I've used this text book to hone and review my basic math skills. It happened to also be a good review and reference book for the GMAT exam if you have the extra time to study.
If you do all of the section excercise problems you can really become good at all of the individual topics.
It's also a good book if you're weak at certain basic math skills such as decimal conversion to fractions, square roots, reducing fractions, exponents and radicals, polynomials, solving quadtratic equations by factoring and other basics.

This is a very easy-to-understand book that has many helpful and detailed illustrations, graphs, and neat facts about the ocean and its contents. Great for biology, meteorology, and environmental students!
