Fantastic and about time!Review Date: 2007-02-07
However, it is Mike's artwork that really stands out in this book. Over and over, he clearly went to great lengths to create realistic and believable vehicles, which went a long way to the general feel of the shows.
A nice easy read with lots of info. Like another reviewer mentioned, this goes well with the hard-to-find Derek Meddings book. If you like Gerry Anderson shows, you will love this book.

Gun Owner's Common SenseReview Date: 2000-01-11
I require that all my clients purchase his Texas Law book when they sign up for my course. It has proven to be immeasurably necessary to gaining a more complete understanding between what the written law states and what the courts choose to interpret from that law.
Mr. Korwin's book on Gun Laws of America will help you keep out of harms way from laws in states that do not have certification courses such as those available in Texas. Be very aware of Federal legislations that can destroy your freedom if you do not know of them. My best to all of you that wish to protect yourself and at the same time do not want to become an unwitting criminal in doing so. These books by Mr. Korwin, and those he recommends, are a must for gun owners across America. Add them to your personal library and knowledge base if you wish to become an informed and sanely secure gun owner.

In my own case, I discovered two of my favorite writer/thinkers, G. K. Chesterton and George MacDonald, through my reading of C. S. Lewis. The book under review gives one an expanded opportunity to discover and enjoy the reading heritage that was so important to Lewis and to the development of his theology and philosophy. Even more, it allows children of a desicated age to experience and drink in some of the great thinkers and writers of our Western heritage. Writers who, alas, are no longer shared with students as a part of what we used to call a higher education.
Therefore, if you love C. S. Lewis, Western Civilization, or just reading, get this book, read it, think it and treasure it. It will be one of the best investments that you have ever made.
