This was all I had hoped it would be. The art work is excellent and the text is such that as the child grows, more and more of the text will be enjoyed. Myth and fact are included, allowing for the enjoyment of the magic of Christmas Myth as well as interesting facts about reindeer. This will be enjoyed with grandchildren at Christmas time for years to come.

I was surprised by the well balanced and complete coverage of the Six Sigma methodology from DMAIC, including managerial steps, all the way to statistics up through Design of Experiments. The all inclusive topics seem to parallel full Black Belt training. I would expect green belts to be offered selections from the book in a standard course. I would say no other book has this "textbooky" look and feel (that is not meant as a criticism). At the end of chapters find Minitab instructions including screen shots. The material is well written, hence understandable, hence I think this is one of the best overall introductions to the subject without slamming the reader with high levels of mathematical theory.

I think this book is an excellent resource for experienced Six Sima managers. However, if you want to buy this book as a study guide for the SSGB certification test, or as an introduction to Six Sigma, it isn't going to help you out much. I guess my lowered rating is due to the fact that the book didn't meet my expectations as it was described on the Amazon site.

This book was well worth my time and money! Being a Six Sigma beginer, I found this book to be easy to follow and comprehend.

Explained is the DMAIC process model, Voice of Customer (VOC), Voice of Process (VOP)and Design of Experements (DOE) in clarifying detail. Best of all, it includes step-by-step explanations of project experiments and the statistical analyses from the expereiments using Minitab 14!

Whether you want to learn the basics of the Six Sigma process (Chapters 1-8) and / or basic Six Sigma statistical tools and methods (Chapters 9-15), I highly recommend this book!

Note: Minitab 14 (Statistical software)is free for 30 days and the associated minitab-formatted excercise worksheets are down-loadable from the publisher's website.

Excellent depiction of what truly environmentally conscious companies and individuals can and should do to help ensure sustainability of our planet for future generations. Stonyfield Farms and their CEO Gary Hirshberg provide an ever improving benchmark for making ecologically-minded decisions while achieving business success. Highly recommended.

Historically and at present, every school curriculum, be it at regular school or college level stresses the importance of getting and spending, about materialism, about maximizing profits and return on investment, all with good intention, but nowhere are we thought about living in harmony with nature, about sustainability and preservation of the environment, every class in business emphasis maximum profit, but not one of them
teaches us about the impact to the environment and at what cost it is to Mother Nature.
We are taught about making short term profits but not about the long term impact to the environment, this practice is going to cause untold misery and suffering for future generations.
We as custodians of the environment, nature, the animal and plant world, supposedly of a higher intelligence are suppose to safeguard and protect it, but we are all guilty of abusing it.
Industrialization and modernization has certainly given us a more comfortable lifestyle, but at what price? As a species, we human beings have consumed, exploited, and destroyed more of the earth's resources in the past fifty years than all of the previous years human existence combined.
Besides the reduction of carbon emissions and finding alternative energy sources, one of the other solutions is to change textbooks to factor in climate and environmental issues into the business equation, as well as to change our mindsets as to how we impact the environment in our daily lives.
No other news item, activity or event is going to dominate our lives in the future more than Global Warming, the climate and the environment.
If we don't reverse this trend or stop it, generations of people in the future will be facing a life of hardship and suffering to difficult to fathom, for a preview of this view the movies "Mad Max" and "Waterworld".

Hirshberg has proven that businees can work in harmony with nature and still make profit, this book should be read by the CEO's of all companies so that they can drive the changes from the top, like what Lee Scott of Walmart is doing. Let's hope that Hirshberg's predictions for the year 2028 will materialize (chapter 8). The Green Revoluion has to start now, or else it may be to late, history will be the judge.

A Great Read, highly recommended!

this is a great book because it shatters one of the big myths and that is that there, somehow, is a disconnect between being successful in business and doing something right for the earth

the stories about Timberland, Patagonia, and even Wal-Mart are really interesting and it's very interesting read - especially for a business book, something I rarely read

plus there are about $10 in coupons in the back for Stonyfield products :)

Gary Hirshberg is the CE-Yo (I'm not making that up) of Stonyfield Farms where they make great yogurt. I love it because it's good. It is also organic. For me, the yogurt eater, that is mostly irrelevant.

Hirshberg titled his book, Stirring It Up: How to Make Money and Save the World. The subtitle should be a clue that there are two kinds of material in this book.

There are the places where Hirshberg writes as if he's trying to pass some sort of environmentalist purity test. These are mostly long expository sections that may be of great interest to you. If so, read them. I found them stupifyingly boring most of the time.

If you're reading this as a business book, you may be tempted to write Gary Hirshberg off as a nut case. But consider the following.

His company makes a great product. The only limit on his production is the number of organically certified cows he can get to supply his farm and meet his standards. And his company makes a lot of money. That's why you want to pay attention to the other parts of the book.

The other parts of the book are where Hirshberg tells the story of his business and several other businesses including Timberlake and Patagonia. He tells about how Wal-Mart is making "environmentally friendly" changes to its operations because those changes are good business.

Those were the parts of interest to me. They are written in a less formal style. They are mostly stories. And there are a lot of lessons in them about business, business practices, and what both successful businesses and Mother Nature might have to teach us about them.

Here's an overview of the book.

The first chapter, Natural Profits, begins with the simple, but profound, observation that nature does not produce waste. When nature is functioning naturally, everything thrown off by one process is used by another. Hirshberg suggests that following that principle with business practices will make things more efficient and, thus, more profitable.

He tells us the story of how he wound up at Stonyfield Farms. There's info on the early stages of the company and how many of his principles about how to live on the planet also helped his company survive and grow. The story of Stonyfield Farms runs through the book.

Mission Control gets us into the mission statement for Hirshberg's company. Frankly, this is as good a chapter on mission statements as I've seen anywhere.

Hirshberg says that a mission statement, in addition to guiding operations, should be simple and enduring. He also points out that Exxon's mission statement at one time only cited "increasing return to shareholders" as a guiding principle and he describes how that informed the company's response to the Exxon Valdez oil spill.

Hirshberg makes the point that if you have only one purpose, as Exxon did, it's relatively easy to make decisions and to be blind to other concerns. But if you have several sub-missions or groups of stakeholders to consider, things get more nuanced. The main story in this chapter is about Patagonia, whose CEO, Yvon Chouinard, says: "Profit is what happens when you do everything else right."

From CO2 to COno is about Stonyfield's efforts to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide. There's excellent material on doing analysis of a problem, seeking solutions and using metrics to gauge success or lack of it. This chapter includes the stories of Timberland, Wal-Mart's recent changes and Adobe's efforts to make its campus carbon neutral. Hirshberg describes cost-saving benefits to the corporations.

Hands Across the Aisle has a lot of excellent material on Hirshberg's marketing methods. In the beginning there was no money for marketing so Stonyfield had to be creative. They were. They also developed the idea of marketing as making a "handshake connection" with everyone. He has important things to say about how the quality of the product is important because that's what gets customers to come back.

The Delicious Revolution includes the story of Honest Tea. In 1998, Seth Goldman left his job at the Calvert Group of "socially responsible" mutual funds to join Barry Nalebuff and found Honest Tea. Nalebuff was Goldman's professor at Yale, where Nalebuff is known as an expert on business strategy and game theory. You may know him for his books such as Co-Opetition : A Revolution Mindset That Combines Competition and Cooperation : The Game Theory Strategy That's Changing the Game of Business and Thinking Strategically: The Competitive Edge in Business, Politics, and Everyday Life.

No Such Place as Away is all about recycling and re-using and planning in ways that leave you with less to transport somewhere else. A lot of this sounds new, but it's not. There was a time when Henry Ford demanded that suppliers of engines for his cars pack their engines in boxes made of boards of a particular size. Ford then took the crates apart and used the wood to make floorboards for his cars.

A real strength of this chapter is the description of Interface Carpet. Interface Carpet is two things. It is the world's largest manufacturer of carpet tiles, a publicly traded company worth almost a billion dollars. It's also a company with a commitment to sustainability.

Nurturing Those Who Nourish the Earth is about Stonyfield's dealing with suppliers. There's good material here about the importance of relationships along the supply chain. Stonyfield Farms may be an "organic" business, but when Hirshberg talks about thinks like marketing and cost analysis, and supply chain relationships, the lessons are solid business.

Future Perfect is Hirshberg's vision of an ideal future. Since it's a true "Utopia" or "nowhere" he feels free to let his inner zealot run free. This chapter is awash in unexamined and unsupported assumptions.

Worse, from my perspective, is that Hirshberg tends to present only his own favored solution or technique. So you don't get any discussion of whether offsets, for example, are actually a good idea or how to make them work better. There are no alternatives in this chapter.

Zealots are often insufferable. Practical zealots have the capacity to change the world. Gary Hirshberg is definitely a zealot, but because he's also both practical and successful, you will find a lot of good business advice in this book.

Kenneth Green has written a practical, entertaining book. 300 A+ Students would be a great gift for a college student.

His book is cleverly organized: for instance, the section on test-taking is divided into before, during, and after tests, and covers everything from the importance of getting enough pre-exam sleep to bringing Black Forest gummy bears for a break during a long test. Techniques for approaching all varieties of exams are shared.

The conversational tone of the book, one of sincerity and immediacy, comes from students' own voices. One college student describes her "thesis police," a group of friends she enlisted to bug her frequently about how her writing was coming along. She said the motivation was most effective.

High school kids are not always tempted to read the book themselves (like who wants to be an A+ student anyway??), but teachers, parents and grandparents can read it and pass along valuable nuggets. As a college student, I would have glommed onto it immediately and then remembered where I put it.

One look at the table of contents reveals what a raft of help this book can provide. It's easy to dip into and out of. A great find!

I loved this book from front to back! I read the book in three days and couldn't put it down. I think that it is informative and entertaining at the same time. I especially liked the list of things to do before the academic term begins. It tells you what to do before you even get to the first class.

As the title suggests, SURVEY OF 300 A+ STUDENTS, interviewed students from all over the world who were considered "A+" students and compiled their responses, tips, and strategies into this book. The book is divided into several sections that tell what to do before, during, and after class to ensure success. It offers test taking tips, ways to deal with stress, time management, etc. , in addition to a section for educators on how to organize and improve their classes. Also included is an appendix that includes the survey questions and several other academic resources.

Although SURVEY OF 300 A+ STUDENTS is geared toward college students, it includes a little something for everyone. I was impressed with the clear and concise advice the book offers. The author, Kenneth Green states that all of the tips may not work for everyone, but instead the book is a guide to allow you to find the methods that work best for your needs. This is an excellent resource for all students.

A hurting family!

Review Date: 2008-10-09

I just read the book "Through the Storm" by Lynne Spears. It tells the story of a family that knew better than what happened but got caught up in all the fame as her daughter. Like all of us she only wanted her daughter to succeed.

Britney went from the small plays, singing and dancing to the big time. The book reads slowly and unless you are very interested in the Spears because of who they are I am not sure you will be all that excited about reading the book.

The good part of the book shows the side of a family that was hurting and how that probably affected so many other things that happened. A dad who had an alcohol problem, a regular family that didn't know how to deal with all that surrounded them-fame, money, success and most of all what might have been a way too shallow spiritual life.

The best thing that I find in the book is when Lynne tells what she should have done better: The family should have worked harder at building faith in the children-church attendance was regular when they were in town but Bible reading and devotions would have helped.

According to the story the family did indeed miss the stability and anchor of faith though all through the book Lynne shares the story and mentions her faith.

The other regret that she had was not trusting her gut in regards to things that happened-she could often sense that things weren't right but trusted professionals that ended up causing many of the heart aches

I do think after reading the book that there is much more to the story that what we get from the papers, TV news, and especially those that follow the media.

After raising children and having grandchildren it does help someone to hear from the mother and know how she hurt! We can all learn from Lynne to build stronger spiritual lives, be more careful about outside influences, and trust our gut about taking care of the family.Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World

I can't tell you how touched I am by Cholene Espinoza's inspirational story about rebuilding what Katrina washed away. Her clarity, honesty, and sincerity are compelling, humbling and vivid. While I was reading this amazing story, I felt I was on the site myself and that I personally got to know the people she writes about; I could feel their suffering and their hope. Ms. Espinoza gives the readers a wonderful gift by opening our eyes, our hearts, our pocketbooks, and our tool chests to get in there and give whatever help we can, wherever the need exists. I admire her strength to spread this necessary message; it will help so many people. Thank you, Cholene, for your courage to share your experience with us.

A story of two exceptional women who gave more and received more than they expected

Review Date: 2006-09-10
In the days immediately following the destruction wrought by Hurricane Katrina two women decide they cannot sit by and wait for others to help those devastated by the storm. A few days later they left their home in New York for Memphis where they rented a van, loaded it with supplies and took off for Mississippi where they planned to distribute their desperately needed cargo.

This could be an ordinary story about two women (or men) who deliver a truck load of supplies to those left after any disaster. But these are not two ordinary women, and this is not an ordinary story. The author, Cholene Espinosa, a former U-2 spy plane pilot now a United Airlines pilot, had been scheduled to fly on September 11, 2001 on United flight 93 from Newark to San Francisco for her next assignment. United 93 we will recall is the flight that crashed in Pennsylvania as passengers fought its hijackers. Fortunately, Cholene's assignment and flight had been rescheduled. Ellen Ratner, Cholene's partner, is a regular commentator on Fox News and a White House correspondent.

The reader will be held captive while learning why Cholene and Ellen chose DeLisle, Mississippi as their destination, reading about the remarkable people in this small Mississippi town and the difficulties to be encountered in what one would think would be a simple and easy mission. This is a story of courage not only of the people in DeLisle but also of Cholene and Ellen in meeting the challenges they faced. The author bravely shares intimate events in her and Ellen's lives that prepared, and indeed, compelled them to undertake this mission. The reader will be drawn into the lives of the people in DeLisle and the future they are struggling to make for themselves and their children.

This is a gripping story that will bring the reader into the lives of hurricane survivors and those giving of their lives to help the victims recover. This is a book that will unite you with the people of DeLisle and the two exceptional women who could not sit by and let others do the job they felt compelled to undertake.

We all have seen the news - we saw the unbelievable destruction that Mother Nature bestowed upon the Gulf. We saw the raw emotion - and sometimes lack of - on the the faces of the hundreds of thousands of men, women and children who called the Gulf home. Many of us jumped in to help - mostly by writing a check, or sending donations. And, some of us did nothing. For those of us who stood back not knowing what to do, here's our chance.

Cholene Espinoza - Pilot, Air Force Academy graduate, Reporter, and ultimately, Humanitarian - chronicles her unbelievable mission to the Gulf Coast in the book "Through the Eye of the Storm". Cholene was able to round up supplies and manpower to head ultimately to Delisle, Mississippi to see what could be done. The mission that Cholene was on may have started out to help others, but she comes to realize that she is ultimately the one being helped. Cholene discusses in her book the inward battles that she faces regarding her faith and her country. Ultimately, Cholene's spirit and soul are renewed by the strength in the people that she meets along the way.

So, now you must be wondering where we come in - after such an amazing mission, how in the world can we help? You may be saying to yourself "I don't have the strength that Cholene demonstrated" or "I have nothing to give". Well, it is so simple. Buy the book. Save the money you would have spent on a couple Latte's this week. Pack your lunch for 2 days. ALL, and I mean ALL proceeds are going to help build and support a community center that is going to be built in Harrison County, Mississippi. There are 5 acres of land that will be developed to help the children in the area get their GED, job training, and other skills that they so desperately need to help get them through not only the rebuilding of their community, but real life skills that they may otherwise not get. The community needs this center. The children need a safe place to go that gives them the room to grow and be nurtured.

I have always cherished the times my mother has sat down with me and talked about what things were like when she was younger, as well as what I was like as a baby. This book has opened that door for me, a chance to write down my history for my daughter as well as my grandchildren. It has given me an opportunity to open up my heart to my daughter in another way, and that is just such a wonderful gift.

Having suffered abandonment as a child...along with many of the contributing writers in TOUCHED BY ADOPTION; I felt the anguish while reading the poems and essays which brilliantly express the loneliness and pain which so many orphans experience. This collection should be read by orphans and anyone thinking of adopting. It is a revelation to find so many who are able to write of the deep emotions connected with the giving up or taking in of another human being. Kudos to Nancy A. Robinson who so valiantly collected and edited this powerful study.

Ms. Robinson has amassed a large collection of work from 75 respected poets, authors and playwrights, all of whom have one thing in common--an adoption connection. Some, like the father of former basketball star Issac Berg, and myself, adopted children, many internationally. Others, like Paula Friedman of California, were birthparents. Still others were themselves adopted as children. It is a privilege to have my work included in this edition, whose writers hail from many racial and religious backgrounds, yet sing in chorus: We can all learn from one another, and from the adoption experience. As an adoptive aunt, I found this book compelling reading. More important, my adopted niece recognized herself within the pages and was moved by the experience. This was a perfect gift for Patty, and I highly recommend it to others!

As the author of four poems in this anthology, I can now say that I don't feel alone anymore. Each poem, each story I read, I am compelled to read a second time. Every time I pick up this book, it feels like I'm picking up a part of my life. I recommend this book to anyone ready to delve into the heart of adoption.

Feel What It is Like to Save a Life with Dave Richardson

I have to start by saying that I love to read true stories - the good, the bad and the ugly :) This is a good one.

Dave Richardson is a man who was sent to Vietnam in the late 60's and he chose to be a helicopter rescue pilot while he was in the war. This put him in a position to have some fascinating experiences and it gave him a chance to see his faith in action during trying and dangerous times.

Vietnam Air Rescues started out as a book from a father, to his family. It was the chance to share his experiences and to help the family understand what he did during his time in Vietnam. A big part of the book are Dave's recollections and pictures from his rescues. There are many pictures throughout the book which are a great addition. I should mention that Dave does remind us that the pictures were taken over 30 years ago and most were taken under "less than favorable" conditions. Some of the pictures are out of focus, but when you read the content and realize what he was doing at the time he was taking the pictures, a bit of fuzz should be ignored.

The book begins with Dave Richardson's "Totally Unauthorized History of the Vietnam War". He shares his reflections of the war and his time overseas. He also explains the various editions of the book. The first edition was written for Dave Richardson's family, but as others requested copies, slight changes were made to make the story appropriate for other readers.

Dave shares many interesting details throughout the book, a jargon section, information about a typical day, details about the missions he flew, he shares maps of the area and full details on each of his rescues.

I feel that the personal feel is very obvious in the book. It feels like a friend is telling you about a year in his life and you get involved in the things they did to kill time when they had time to spare. We also feel the tension as he struggles to rescue a pilot who was shot down, realizing that a mistake would mean death for a number of people. It was never a situation where he only had to worry about his own life.

I interviewed Dave Richardson on my radio show and I got the chance to learn so many additional details. Learning more about how a person handles a helicopter added more tension to the rescue sections.

Imagine a chance to talk with Dave Richardson and Kenny Fields about the rescue where they met. Both men wrote books about their experiences. One of the interesting things is that these two books give us the perspective from the air and the perspective from the ground. Dave was days from going home and he agreed to go out one more time. Little did he know what would happen over the next 48 hours. Kenny Fields was stranded on the ground and the rescue planes and helicopters had a very difficult time reached Kenny Fields.

If you would like to learn more about what happened behind the scenes this is a great place to start. There is no grandstanding, no political undertones and no agenda in Vietnam Air Rescues. But, there is a great story told from an author who is proud to share his story with us.

What a great book! Written with simplicity in mind---the book was written for the author's children, not for publication---it is an easy read with a big story behind it.

Richardson describes on several occasions his feeling that the hand of God was present on many missions when he probably should have died, but did not. This book is both educational and inspirational. I enjoyed this read very much.

One day, I saw one of my co-worker's with this book in hand and stopped to ask him what the book was about. (I think it was the colorful cover that grabbed my attention.) Then, my co-worker went on to tell me that his father was the author, grabbing my attention even further. After looking through his copy of his Dad's book, I just had to get my own so I could read each page. I am so glad I did! Dave Richardson's personal account of his time in Vietnam and the rescues performed are a most excellent read. I felt like I was part of the story. I also liked the section at the end of the book, where the author explains various acronyms and "subjects." Dave, thanks for sharing your story. Your love of God and family is evident. Thank you for your service!

Great overview of life in Nam according to Dave

This was a fast-paced, easy book to read. Good insight on the war, the Vietnamese, also the dynamics of our soldiers in a foreign land. I was amazed at his factual first-hand account supported by photos and documents.
Written in a no-nonsense, straight-shooting style that commanded attention and encouraged "reading between the lines" . . . thought provoking. It stayed with me long after I read the last page. The white light was awesome evidence of God's protection. Thank you Dave (and Kaye!) for your sacrifice and service through a very confusing and painful time in history.

I read this book from cover to cover in just a few hours. This book grabeb my attention from the first page and held it all the way to the end. I could not let go. This is a first hand story of how things really happened over in Vietnam. This story is told from the heart of a truly amazing man. This book is filled with great rescues and some amazing photos. I highly reccomend this book for everyone.

We should all weep, because most people are too stupid to appreciate Adam Green's fine sense of humor. Due to these fine individuals not buying this brilliant book, it is now out of print. I am sad. Fortunately Adam's other book, the Book of Hollow Days is still available, and every bit as funny. If you don't own any Adam Green yet, you owe it to yourself to find some of his work. You will laugh until you are in severe pain.

I second all the opinions of this book. I got it for a birthday present when it first came out and now I loan it out to my friends since they can't find it. Every time i re-read it I find myself still laughing out loud. If you like bizarre, wickedly funny humor, this book _cannot_ be beaten!

In my earlier review (below) I stated that Adam Green's book "What were you in a previous life?" was no longer available...apparently it IS available now. I bow before the publishing gods...THANK YOU for bringing this book back! Now that it IS available, I suggest that everyone buy one or two copies. If you already have it, they make great gifts! If you have any doubts about just HOW funny this book is, read the reviews. You won't be disappointed...unless you're completely humorless and dead inside.

As a number of the other reviews noted, this collection is not for everyone. But, if jokes about torn puppies, monitoring your friends for hints of suicide, and dog vomit are your cup o' tea, then this book is for you.

One of the funniest books I've ever read.

This is a book of very morbid hilarity. It also exudes an amount of contrarianism. Do it. Buy it. Let yourself laugh.

A Letter to My Sisters: The Way Out V.L. Green has shown us that a good romance novel can still be captivating without all the explicitness and vulgarity. He book is so well written. I couldn't put it down. Each episode made me want to find out what would happen next. She is certainly an author to keep up with. May God continue to bless your work V.L.

Green turns to fiction in memorable romance

Author V. L. Green, a Mississippi native, has crafted the endearing tale of Pamela Charles in the Chrician romance WHEN DESTINIES MEET.
The end result is a story that will stike a chord with men and women alike with its portrayal of how a bruised heart can almost destroy you if not addressed.

Set in Mississippi, the main character, Pamela Charles, is a woman who many can identify with. She allowed herself to love once and was rewarded with heartbreak. Vowing to never make that mistake again, she throws herself into her work---effectively managing to shut out most people, including her family. When her health is threatened, the Charles family rallies to her side to intervene, setting the stage for love to once again find a home in her heart.

There are many things about this book that struck a chord with me.

For one, I could identify with Pamela and her feelings about not being suckered again by the treacherous waters of love and romance.

Her mother tries to help her deal with the pain she has endured with this encouragement: "You need to let go of the past. You can't change it. Accept it. Let it go... Find someone. Fall in love."

If only it was that easy. Always quick on her feet and ready to defend her rationale, Pamela fires back with this conclusion: "There is no such thing as love. It's an illusion weak people use because they're afraid to be alone. I'm neither afraid nor weak."

In her own words are the fears that a great deal of us have when it comes to love: the uncertainty of how it will change us. Pamela was so careful not to be perceived as afraid or weak that she hardened herself against anything that was outside her comfort zone.

Just as it seems that there is no hope for Pamela to find love, Green introduces her and others to the hope of a second chance at love.

Anthony Newman is the man she wanted and needed but thought she could never have. No matter how much he tried to show his feelings were genuine, Pamela as not making it easy for him.

But is anything worth having ever really easy? The author makes us carefully consider this. WHEN DESTINIES MEET will cause the reader to ask if everything truly does happen for a reason.

Is it possible we have to be broken in order to be rebuilt the right way?

Cleverly written, with moral lessons throughout, it is a book that will make you want to believe in the possibility of happily ever after again.

I have read this book so many times, and I never tire. It always leaves me feeling good about life -- even those disappointing moments. It's like meeting up with an old friend. I think the author does a wonderful job of communicating how God is always working on our behalf -- even when things seem to go wrong. I am so thrilled that I took the journey with Pamela and Anthony. I highly recommend it.

First of all, I want to thank Stanley for being kind enough to give me the first book I read by this author. I was moved by the deep simplicity of her work. By that I mean, I found that I felt her work and could feel her love for her work. I often feel that the truest words flow from the heart to the mind and then through the fingers to the paper.

When Stanley told me there was another book, I bought it from this site along with a few others. I find that I am, once again, moved by the quality and sincerity that comes through. Please give your heart and your head a gift and read this book. It is truly a wonderful read.

It is from this thought that I want to thank my mother (God rest her soul) for telling me that learning to read was the greatest thing I could ever do, because there are some special books out there And she was right! This book is one of 'those special book" !

I love reading Christian romance. The characters were inspiring and the novel flowed very well. This is the first I've read of V.L. Green but I would enjoy reading her again - she ranks right closely up there with my other favorites Ryan Phillips and Kendra Norman-Bellamy.
