Finally a good book that shows examples of authentication via LDAP. This has been an area of great confusion. The Enterprise Security Scenarios were helpful also.

Because all entries are submitted by industry professionals the listings are very comprehensive and numerous for all sorts of obscure and familiar items alike.

Each entry offers a concise yet accurate snapshot of organizations ranging from the Sierra Student Coalition to the American Wind Energy Association. An essential and very highly recommended reference manual for environmental workers and Environmental Studies reference libraries, The Environmental Guidebook is also available in an e-book CD-ROM format (0972068511).

I would have loved to have had this as a textbook in any number of my LIS courses. Great reference book to have at hand now.

This is a superior book that will be an asset to any lawyer using the Internet. Ambrogi is a recognized expert, author of a regular column in Law Technology News, and this book benefits from his detailed knowledge of the subject. Well organized and well written, this book shows how good an Internet legal reference can be.

In recent years a number of book awards have established to acknowledge those books which have special relevance to Jewish, African-American, Latino, Caribean and Asian-American cultures.

In part one (very short) of this book, background information about these various awards is given. This includes the awarding organization and the things that they look for.

In part two Ms. York has collected into this one reference book all of the books that are award winners and are honor or commended titles. Publication and brief summaries are provided for the titles. While all of this information may be available on the Internet, here it is contained in a quick and easy to reference manner.

The intended audience for the book includes librarians and library media specialists to use as a tool for selection and acquisition of high-quality books to increase diversity in library collections. Classroom teachers can use the book to locate worthy books to supplement classroom instruction.

I found the book very helpful for people think of establishing a chemical trade business and I believe that many people interested in this business area. This guide seems to be one of the best about the huge chemical market. I strongly recommend for everybody.

A good overview of the internet written in a straight-forward easy to read manner. The book starts by giving a brief description and history of the internet and includes a chapter of kid-friendly web-site addresses (and descriptions), the basics of determining whether a site is worthwhile or not, email and netiquette basics and some hints for parents. I would recommend this book for children AND adults who are interested in learning to use the Internet.

With over 7,000 listings of employment services, this book is a great reference for job seekers and recruiters. The most complete listing of its type I have seen. Belongs on your bookshelf.
