Chocolate Books

Although I have seen a recommended reading and interest level of 5-10 year olds, I find this book to be most inappropriate for elementary school children. It contains gratuitous profanity, mature bathroom humor, and a disturbing conclusion.

This product is OUTDATED! I thought I was ordering a 2008 calendar when I ordered it on November 29, 2007. What I got was a 2007 calendar that had exactly one month--December 2007--left. This is ridiculous! Amazon's response to this was that I could return the item for a refund and order another product. I have now added Amazon to my "Do Not Order From" list. So it's "Buyer Beware" when you order from Amazon!

We recently purchased this book along with several others from Schiffer for resale in our antique shop. We were very disappointed with this book and would not recommend it to anyone. The book is poorly written and lacks any kind of insight into the history of chocolate companies other than Wilburs. The book misrepresents itself as a book on chocolate memorabilia. There were dozens of chocolate manufacturers during the turn of the century and we would have liked to have seen others represented. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on March 17th issued a recall for Wire-O Bound journals and calendars due to a lead paint hazard.

This book was extremely boring, the author has one hell of a fabricated imagination. In this day and age we need books that minister to society. How do you associate someone as a Christian who fornicates with someone he just met on a cruise, that's not a true man of God. What Christian would want to take a women such as this home to meet the parents and perhaps marry her. Totally garbage!!!!

The title for this book in the Amazon listing is wrong. I ordered it, and received a book with the correct ISBN. However, the title of it is "The Pillsbury Cookbook: The All-Purpose Companion for Today's Cook". I suspect that an Amazon employee made a data entry mistake: when typing the title for this ISBN, he typed in the wrong book title.

I only browsed through this book since it is of little interest to me. However, it seems to be a standard family cookbook from the 1980's.

This cookbook is NOT quick and NOT easy. The recipes are in no way easier to do than your average dessert cookbook. In addition to this, the book has other problems. First of all, it lacks a personal tone. There is no "voice of the writer" , no foreword, nor even a few words description of each recipe. Another problem is , that some of these recipes have alredy appeared in other cook books. I wouldn't bother with this book, there are much better chocolate cook books out there!

For $5.95, I expected a little more substantive information rather than an extended ad for products.
