This pattern collection is a must. Many different styles included, from the very elegant to a simple little border of cute fat piglets. I plan to use some of them for creating corner & border templates for quilting and am excited about the possibilities and combinations available.

THE ROD OF IRON
Author: Robert G. Barbaria
"The ROD OF IRON spoken of throughout the scriptures of the bible refers to-- the Word of GOD."
Robert G. Barbaria, author of Revealing the Bible's Truth now introduces The Rod of Iron, a book written to enlighten and awaken all seeking to understand the Word of GOD. The series contains three books reflecting spiritual understanding and moving the spirit to a higher level. The author recommends reading the series in order to obtain the full benefit.
Readers of the first book will be familiar with Mr. Barbaria's unique text and format style. The book contains several anomalies in text and presentation. Throughout the book we are confronted with type changes, odd phraseology and unusual word usage. Apparently the author has done this intentionally to magnify the effect of the Word of God and the true message to Spirit.
The book discusses in depth many controversial subjects: Parallel dimensions, life elsewhere in the Universe, Angels, Heaven, the END and the Destiny of Mankind, opening the mind of the reader to new and unperceived possibilities.
Chapter five-The Significance of Numbers is a complicated and sometimes intense chapter, however it is worth the effort to gain greater insight into the workings of GOD and his universe.
Look into the scriptures as they are revealed to you page after page. Never before has the TRUTH been exposed, explained and revealed in such intense, prophetic ways. Robert Barbaria is bringing TRUTH to the masses, if only they will seek to know it.
There will be some that will scorn the book and the information found within, however those seeking the TRUTH with an open mind and a willing Spirit will find this series an instrumental part of their journey. Watch for the last book in the series: Revelation the Fourth Son. Reviewer: Shirley Roe

Since the coming out of the second generation of Rolemaster, the companions seem a bit over the age.. but in my opinion, these classical and excellent written companions, esp. Companion II, are a valuable and needful supplement a GM should own. Companion II has 13 new professions, 65 new spells and over 100 new optional skills. Also MasterTables are included. Because of the new professions, the companion is very valuable, including Scholar, Beastmaster, Paladin, Warrior-Mage, Necromancer, Witch, Sage, Shaman, Dancer, Trader, Dervish, Warlock, Conjuror and Runemaster. Additionally the base lists of these new professions. Very valuable to the users of Channeling and Essence companions also, because of the nice informations, backgrounds and spells.

Even being the "Basics," this set is packed! It contains: Rolemaster: The Basics, a 128-page volume that contains a distilled version of the RMSS rule set. [Caution: Some out-of-print sellers are only selling this book -- you want the full box set!] Also included are: Part VI: The Appendices (72 pages) & Tables and Record Sheets (72 pages). Bringing back memories of the very first Rolemaster set of the early 80s are the familiar booklets: Of Channeling (32 pages); Of Essence (32 pages); Of Mentalism (32 pages).
Heh. Only ICE would consider 368 pages of material to be a "Basic Set," but that's what you are looking for in Rolemaster: Detail and accuracy.

This is a roleplaying game about pirates and bucaneers of the caribean in the 1600's. Great roleplaying oppurtunites are abundant in this world of brutality and intrigue. Solid and easy combat and skill rules insure quick fast-paced action. Maps of the area with rich descriptions of the lands abound as do the lists of equipment and ships. It's worth the price.

Imperial Hubris and the Narcissism of Small Differences

Gratefully, a literature grows which unites the ideas of the Old and New Left. No doubt, this is one of the seeds. Here, Judith Stein decides not to write about aggregates and macroeconomics but rather the history of the steel industry (and parenthetically, the civil rights movement) in Cold War United States. Here, Liberal policy allowed allies to pursue industrial policies which created vast industrial overcapacity, while denying unionist, staunch advocates of integration, similar protections. Failing to address the question of jobs, the Civil Rights movement disintegrated into vain, narcissistic, and legalistic struggles which produced much fury but few results. This book should be read with Robert Brenner's The Economics of Global Turbulence to see how class really does matter and how it conditions what success can be seen in the rightful concern of the New Left, racial equality.

I purchase iron-on transfer books for the Comfort Blanket Ministry of St. Ferdinand Church. It is a blessing that such books are still available - we use these iron-ons for painting and marker coloring which ultimately become squares in our ministry's beautiful blankets. Keep selling these kinds of books, we'll keep buying them!

Caidin restored a classic war-plane!

Review Date: 2007-03-17
Prolific author and all-around adventurer Martin Caidin fascinates the reader with his discovery and restoration of a sadly neglected Junkers 52 Luftwaffe plane. The Junkers 52, an impressive tri-motor, was the primary transport used by the Wehrmacht in World War II. This was the aircraft from which numerous Fallschirmjaeger (para-troop) jumps were made. The specimen in question, was found decaying at an obscure airfield in South America, when Mr. Caidin became aware of it. With loving care and many hours of labor, Caidin's crew repaired the plane and restored it to flying condition.
This is not only a narrative of saving a classic war-plane, but also a history of the development and use of the Junkers 52. Originally concieved as a bomber, the Luftwaffe converted it to transport duty as it became obsolete in that role, due to concerns over its speed. It was also utilized in the civilian sector as a passenger and cargo plane, prevailing in that role for decades in remote regions of the world. Many of these were still in service in South America, when more advanced commercial aircraft took over in the developed countries. Perhaps there are still abandoned Ju-52s corroding somewhere in South America, ...maybe some are even restorable!
