May have one if one has bought an used pre-2000 gsx r750.

RATHER focused to disassembly down to piston and rings and carb needles or injector nozzles with detailed procedure and to do that

THAN to description of various compornents's working mechanism.

* Tremendous quantity of greyscale snapshots (not diagram) while disassembly procedure.

* differences between production year are depicted in several tables and wring diagrams

* need more diagrams in general

Not perfectly addquate for just studying mechanics with a book that describes dissembly of top-end superbike. The aspect of direclty describing structure of the bike is rather weak in this book than as in usual some stock manual that accompanies bikes when purchased(The manuals are shallow in depth, but this book is very detailed describing the service procedure).

Standard manual shows repair, removal, replacement and alignment of minor and major repairs. Lots of pictures enhance understanding and ease learning. Great resource.

I have a '83 Suzuki DT5. First boat/outboard so was looking for something to get me going maintenance/familiarization-wise. I'd have to say this book is the best going around. It has given me some good grounding knowledge but in some cases the information is not detailed enough specific to individual engines. So it didn't answer all my questions, but it answered perhaps the other 90% of them, so it is well worth grabbing. As mentioned, I haven't found a better resource for these older outboards yet.

I bought this book for "nostalgia:" I just picked up a keyboard and wanted to play the songs I grew up on in my Suzuki piano lessons. It's funny how the memories come flooding back - how I got terribly sick of that monstrous 8 page Sonata in the middle, but loved the last song "Gigue," etc. And now that I don't have to practice for a teacher, I have great fun just relearning the ones that I truly enjoyed.
Most people aren't going to buy this book out of the blue without a history of Suzuki piano, but if you do, be forwarned that it's reasonably advanced, not beginner level: I don't think I reached it until about 6 years into my piano career.
But the music is printed in good, legible text, and there are lots of fingering hints which are a rare find in "grown up" piano music.

This manual provides the necessary technical information required to successfully maintain and repair my Suzuki RM 125.

Its been a great help for setting up my suzuki for better performance

Kind of dry style coverage of production, no personal reflections, anecdotes or biases. Most pictures black and white. But there aren't many books telling this story so for those interested in the subject it should rate as a neccessary reference in the bookshelf.

There is a brilliant chapter there about the RE-5 Rotary. Useful for all the pictures of models.

This is a simple, straight-forward explanation of the Suzuki method for those unfamiliar with it. The purpose seems not to persuade the reader but simply to explain how and why it works, as well as sharing the history of Dr. Suzuki and how his "method" came to be. It is interesting and quick reading; it can be read in one sitting.

I bought this book to help me learn more the Suzuki method and how to teach/encourage me and my 6 yr old son with our home violin practice. While our violin teacher does a few things a little different from the recommendations in this book, I still found this book helpful. It gave me ideas to make our home practices more Dr. Starr also includes some cute stories to help encourage children to practice and my son liked hearing these from the book.

This book is a very thorough manual. You can be a complete novice and this book will take you step by step, leaving nothing to guess. Compared to the normal service manuals that tell you to remove a certain part and then leave you guessing on how to remove it, this book does not do that. It takes you step by step. It has plenty of very detailed pictures, drawings and diagrams. Clearly labeled. I highly recommend this book. The only thing keeping this book from getting 5 stars is the fact that it covers several models, however, there are only pictures of one specific model in the body section. It's not the same model as the picture on the front of the book (which is the model I needed pictures of).
