This is the funnest game around! One time, I had some friends spend the night and we didn't stop playing till 3:00 a.m. because we were having so much fun! We laughed for forever! I even got the hiccups! You are gonna luv it!

The bright colourful illustrations catch the imaginations of younger readers and complex concepts are brought across simply but accurately. Readers identify with Arnold and the other children. They enthusiastically take part in the discussion as if they were right inside the covers of the book.

(My son is sure he can out-reason Dorothy-Ann, and this stimulates him to work out what happens next.)

The Magic School Bus Gets Eaten is no exception. Concepts of food chains are brought across simply but clearly and readers are led to make deductions based on previous information.

My kids really enjoy the Magic School Bus series, and this book was no exception. My 8 yo daughter wants to be an astronaut, and her mind hasn't changed since reading this! I recommend this to all parents with younger kids who want colorful illustrations and good information without being overwhelming or boring.

I was never a fan of Magic School bus, as I thought there was too much sensory overload in pages of their books. But I must admit I liked this insect book. My daughter learned a lot reading it just one time through. Kudos.

The kids are teasing a classmate about her interest in butterflies. To better educate them and her readers, Mrs. Frizzle takes the class to the bog, where they learn about camoflauge, life cycles, and more!

My grandmother turns 95 this week. The last thing she needs is another tchotchke to clutter up her apartment. But one thing she has in abundence is time to read. Another is nostalgia. She sometimes has trouble remembering if she had Corn Flakes our Raisin Bran for breakfast, but she remembers her youth and its joys with utter clarity.

This book turned out to be the perfect 95th birthday present. Already I have heard her chuckle at a long-forgotten turn of phrase and seen her tear up as a proverb or idiom brought back a memory of better days.

While I'm pretty sure the best present I brought her this past weekend was her only great-grandson to enjoy, (he's about to turn four and the apple of her eye), Rahel Rozmarin's fine book runs a close second.

Thanks to Ms. Rozmarin for and effort well worth the time and energy she put into it.

I loved Daniel Williams book the,"Man Creature", it was like he was sitting here talking to me. I was so surprised to discover that evolution and creation are the same. It was so enlightening.

Chuck Smith's book entitled, "The Man that God Uses" is basic, simple, and short. A wonderful tool for ministry, new believers, or simply reading to learn more about the man that God uses.

This tale shows how updated Poe was about science and inventions going on those times.i give this 5 stars because the ending was surprising.

This book, Manoa, the Story of a Valley, probably doesn't mean a whole lot to the reader unless 1) you live or have lived in Manoa Valley, or 2) you know a place or a person featured in the book.

Manoa, the Story of a Valley, is a non-fictional account of the physical and cultural evolution of a valley mauka (inland) of Waikiki on the island of Oahu. Even one hundred years ago, it was very rural, full of taro fields and rock walls. Today, it is full of houses, but in a quiet, modest way. This book descibes the past and present of the place and its residents. Aunty Bea was one of those characters, and she was an island treasure. The book is subtitled "The Multicultural Heritage of a Honolulu Neighborhood." The stories come from a variety of perspectives. If you love Manoa, you will want to read this book.
