This is THE AUTHORITY if you have a 1992 Jeep. It covers every aspect of the vehicles and gives detailed step by step repair instructions. Don't confuse this with generic multi-fit manuals like Haynes or Chiltons. This is the original factory manual is OUT OF PRINT. If you own a 1992 Jeep Cherokee, Wrangler, or Comanche, this is a must have.

This book will help the Jeep-fan to discover and know how the MB and GPW differed. It is full of useful text and graphics, that will make the reader a nearly-expert in those "beautiful" cars. I really enjoyed every page of it.

This book is an essential resource for any and all who either are in the process of restoring an old jeep or those who just love old jeeps. The diagrams and photographs are priceless to those who are restoring WW2 jeeps and need an accurate reference to know that the right wire or cable is being put in the right spot. I literally cannot say enough good things about this book.

Ford EECV upgrade and reprogrammin

This book neatly sums up the history of AM GENERAL. One has to wonder what might have been, if the parent company American Motors had managed to hold on a bit longer, would it be a dominant force in the auto market today? Quite possibly, give the fact that the company went out of business just as the SUV craze was taking hold, and AMC did have the iconic JEEP in it's line up. And of course, AM GENERAL produced profits for the company, through it's miliary contracts, more on that a bit later!
As for AM GENERAL, I wonder how many HUMMER owners know that their vehicle began as an offshoot of the JEEP?
One interesting omission in the book. AMC had to divest itself of AM GENERAL in the early 1980s. It seems that the American government was OK with Renault taking over the car end of the business, but did not want AM GENERAL, a miliary contrator, falling into the hands of a Socialist foreign power, that is to say, France !!

the electrical diagram is not clear, especialy for electrical and power door and power seats

I read this book , here in Brazil.This book is short,concise, correct and easy to read.Many photos; all of them black & white.There's a chapter showing that "very cheap" jeep was/is just a legend.As a short and very illustrated introduction, about the jeep's history, this a very good choice.

Wow! It's hard to sum up my feelings about this book. I'm a huge Carole Landis fan anyway! This book must be held as Carole's autobiography--and it's a success! She describes the war in England and Africa, the soldiers she meets, the frightening moments performing near the front lines. It also becomes a love story--Carole met her third husband while on this tour. Carole was a courageous woman--this was the first of two long tours she did for our "boys over there." This book is a very enjoyable read, full of excitement! It should be appealing to those interested in WWII, the USO, Carole Landis, Kay Francis, Martha Raye or Mitzi Mayfair.

Everything you ever wanted to know about Jeep repair and maintenance, but were afraid to ask because someone wanted to charge you a $100 shop rate to explain it to you.
