As an busy simultaneous interpreter I have found Ms. Orellana's glossary invaluable in many different conferences. This is usually the only dictionary I pack for my assignments

Strathmere's bride is a regency romance that is very mature, somewhat dark but well thought out.

The hero, Jareth, is the new duke of Strathmere, a "spare" becoming duke after his brothers death in a carriage accident. The duke is portrayed as very straight laced and dour-at first. The heroine, Chloe, a loving and independent French cousin of the former dukes wife-who was there before the carriage accident, and now is the lifeline to the dukes two young nieces, who survived the carriage accident with their own terrors and scars.

What starts out as a major clash of wills over both protagonists child rearing beliefs, changes over time as they learn more of each other and the two girls. Both characters are well fleshed out and multi-dimensional-you'll find yourself, at first, not liking the darkly brooding Jareth-but stick with the book as you'll learn more about him and his very dysfunctional family as the novel progresses. The book is highly charged emotionally and well worth the read. I would suggest it's been written in the same vein as classic "tortured soul" romance ala' Bronte and Austen*.

The workbook came on time, which was the most important thing for me.
It was in excellent condition and was exactly what I wanted.

The book has no tears or rips and basically no highlighting or writing inside it. Received the book very quickly.

Some textbooks can be really hard to follow and aren't put together very well. This is one of the few out there that's well thought out, easy to understand, and gives lots and lots of useful examples that make topics clearer and clearer as you go along. It helped a lot to have a good textbook in class.

There is indispensible "Study and Solutions Guide" on Amazon.com - but listed under the wrong title. Sent corrections with no result.

This past semester i took developmental Psychology at Baldwin wallace College in Berea Ohio. Lifespan Development was our text book. The book was very informative and rather enjoyable. It illustrates the many complex phases of life and Development. I learned a lot about my own life through this book. I would recomend this book to anyone interested in themselves

I saw this on Amazon and wondered what it was like, so I picked it up.

This is an excellent book for the kids. Adapted from the movie, the book takes the reader through The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe from Susan's point of view and interjects what she may have been thinking along the way.

It also has black and white photos from the movie.

It shocked me at how many people in an abusive relationship respond the same way. You know they are suffering. They know the relationship is toxic and still go back again and again.

When I read this book, I finally understood these victims.

If a person reads this book before they start to date, they will never find themselves trapped in an abusive relationship, because they will recognize what kind of relationship they are in before their partner thinks of them as property and get out in time.

If a person reads this book while in the middle of a relationship, they will know just why they keep going back and going back and going back, and will feel so much comfort in the whole process of leaving. They will know what was going to happen from one minute to the next during the break up and when it happens instead of being terrified they will be reassured that they were right where they should be at that time and if they stayed the course they will be free.

If a person has left and was being stalked, they can continue on their quest to stay away from their abusive partner and find comfort in all the feelings that were previously scaring them to death. Some of those feelings are the feelings of missing their abusive partner feeling lonely and thinking that maybe if they went back things would turn out differently. They will be confident too that they will never find themselves in that situation again with someone else either, because they will finally understand the whole abusive situation start to finish.

This book can help the forgotten victims too, meaning the people who feel powerless and have lost loved ones, because their loved ones were now trapped in isolation, with their abusers. They could get their power back and their loved ones by getting this book to them. Even if they have to get it to some secret spot that that their loved ones were still allowed to go. They would at least know that once they read this book, they would be getting their loved ones back.

This book is sure to change the climate of abusive relationships forever.

Yes, don't bother thinking about it - just buy this one. That is, if you're interrested in duels. I enjoyed this book a lot, as all of Hutton's works, although this one is not as "technical" as the rest of them. Rather a pleasant read, and probably the best collection of accounts of some historically important, or for various reasons colorful duels... By the way (and I suppose I'm stating the obvious here, considering Huttons's primary occupation), pistol-lovers - stay away! :-)
