Pulls me out of the blues every time. Who Is God? This book pulls together scripures that reveal who He really is. Awesome compilation of the characteristics of God. I pray through it when my attitude is most sour and I am lifted.

For those wanting to dig deeper into Shakespeare, particularly the History Plays, this is an invaluable resource. HOWEVER, being Shakespeare, you also have to be aware of what he chose to exclude, and therefore need to find reprints of those portions of the Chronicles pertinent to your subject of study to see what he skipped over so you can better consider why he included what he did. Not being a car-expert and being confronted with the need to purchase a used car, I picked up a copy of Kilmer's book at my local library. I highly recommend this book because it is fluff-free and easy-to-read. It is only about 130 pages, but Kilmer has packed in more information than you would expect. Kilmer (a mechanic) does a good job explaining what to look for and when to avoid a car (as well as his reasons for it), without getting bogged down in technical details.

I would recommend reading this book in conjunction with "The Insiders Guide to Buying a New or Used Car" by Burke Leon. The latter has more information about how to haggle with used-car salesmen. However, this should not take any credit away from Kilmer's book that is definitely worth its price.

I got this for my son's 5th birthday and he LOVES it nice in soft cover for his hands and easy reading at bedtime !

Someone wants Caroline out of the way, and not just out of the White House -- dead. It appears that person is someone in her own inner circle. Someone she trusts completely. But who? Is it her senior advisor, Rupert, the man she views almost like a father? One of her secret service agents? Or worse, her own husband?

When I awarded JOHN DOE ON HER DOORSTEP, the first book in The Enforcers series, a Perfect 10 last month, I never expected that this book would not only equal the last one, but surpass it. Yet that's exactly what Ms. Webb has accomplished in the second book, EXECUTIVE BODYGUARD. Therefore, I find myself -- who rarely awards more than four or five Perfect 10's in an entire year -- in the unique position of awarding well deserved back to back Perfect 10's.

As with JOHN DOE ON HER DOORSTEP, EXECUTIVE BODYGUARD gets high marks for delivering a tightly paced series romance with the feel of a longer single title. An emotion-grabbing contemporary romance with nail biting suspense and the watch-your-back intensity of a political thriller, EXECUTIVE BODYGUARD has all the ingredients in first-rate fiction of any genre -- but it's a romance, which, for me, makes it even better.

Caroline's efforts to balance her personal life with her presidential duties is realistically portrayed. She understands the importance of her position as the first woman to hold the office and knows that her performance will affect other women's ability to compete in future elections. The pressure on her to succeed in what is essentially a man's arena is enormous. Readers will not find it difficult to empathize with her and will therefore pull for her all the way. Readers will also love the hero. As much as I'd like to gush, I can't really say too much about him for fear of giving things away. Those who have read JOHN DOE ON HER DOORSTEP (if you haven't, go grab a copy now!) will have gotten a glimpse of him there. As wonderful a hero as Adam proved then, this hero stands out even more. His determination to protect Caroline, coupled with his desire to be the man she needs, but believes he can never be, melted my heart.

EXECUTIVE BODYGUARD moves at a quick, but steady pace; with each turn of the page, the suspense builds along with the sexual tension and the emotional connection between the hero and heroine. Secondary characters are well written and add to the mystery because, like Caroline, the reader doesn't know whom to trust.

Though EXECUTIVE BODYGUARD stands well on its own, you won't want to miss the first book in this outstanding series. Once you've finished both books, you'll be itching to get your hands on the final book in the trilogy, MAN OF HER DREAMS, which should be on bookstore shelves soon. A fabulous book by an author destined for future NYT Bestseller lists, don't miss EXECUTIVE BODYGUARD.

This lab manual is the best I have seen. Both experienced and novice practitioners will find this book a valuable resource. Field and clinical tests are presented for each component of exercise physiology: aerobic, anaerobic, pulmonary, cardiovacular, body composition, etc. Each chapter begins with enough theoretical background to fully understand the physiological responses. The methods are detailed enough for the novice to follow, but advanced enough for the experienced technician to gain insights. The results and discussion sections provide excellent insights as well as tables of comparative and interpretive data. It is one of my most used shelf and lab references.

Useful, concise, to the point. An amazing reference for anyone in dentistry. You learn as you go through the exercises. The authors did a great job.

Exteriors is Ernaux for Ernaux fans - this is not a narrative but rather a collection of entries regarding every day life observed closely. This is also the first book I read by Ernaux - I was hooked by the writing style. Ernaux has the unusual ability to write prose that appears on the outside to be highly descriptive of the exterior of events. Yet in this careful observation, she portrays a highly interior response to the externals.

The description of the clerk in the shopping mall has remained in my memory for years as has her description of the changing landscape of transit stations. Few authors could make such details interesting, even fewer make them significant. Ernaux succeeds at both.

I just received my copy of this book and found it to be excellent. The authors did a fine job covering the building of scale model cars (and motorcycles) in great detail. The book covers a wide variety of topics, including assembly, modification of parts, resin and photo-etch details, decals, detailing for increased realism and the all important finishes. Every topic is well illustrated with close-up color photographs demonstrating the technique. A very useful area to me was examples of what can go wrong with finishes and how to avoid or fix these problems. At the end of the book the authors also showcase some of their completed models and they are things of beauty ! I hope my models will someday look as good as those of the "Two Juans". I would say this book and a copy of "Building and Detailing Scale Model Cars" by Pat Covert will get any beginner off to a great start and will help more experienced modelers improve their craft. Well done !

my grandmother has a copy of this book. i love it. she recently gave it out as gifts for the young girls at a female pagan workshop she was helping with.
