After looking at all the local car parts stores, I took 2 minutes to order this item here and 3 days later I had it. What more is there to say?

these chilton books are great if you are rebuildin your engine or even if you are just needing assistance fixing your vehicle.They have pretty much everything even picture diagrams. ide suggest this book if you are doing a weekend project or even a long term overhaul

The Chilton 1997 import car manual that I purchased was exactly what I expected it to be, it was delivered in a couple of days after I ordered it, and it looks brand new. I was completely satisfied!

This manual is not only informative, but its condition is amazing. Obviously used only in a library, it has no tears or grease marks as would be expected for a car repair book.

This is a huge book and published by "The auto editors of consumer guide" so you know its going to be a great book and it is! Thoroughly researched covering Chrysler,Dodge,Desoto,Imperial and Plymouth.416 pages,most in colour and the photos are superb.This is a great history book.

If you can find a copy hold on to it.Its a superb book.

Just got this book. I really enjoyed it. This is the third chronical that I have gotten from this author. It is very nicely put together and has alot of pictures. I would recommed this book to any car fan.

I really enjoyed this book. Frank Adkins covers a ton of performance upgrades for you muscle Mopar. He stresses the benefits of upgrading the entire car, not just the engine. Engine swaps, brakes, suspention, axle, cooling, and electrical are all covered. He provides a nice road map to performance for your Mopar when you are gathering thoughts for that trip.

The book covers all the basic systems with many options for performance upgrades at minimal cost. This is easier than thumbing through all your old magazines or investing in several other books.

Full information. Very good selection. Not like other classic books, some even includes Ford Tarus, this book contains all real supercars. Wonderful collection for all automanias and scale model collectors.

This is a wonderful book for classic car collectors. The photos are very succesful and all colorful; they are better than the real ones. I would recommend the book very highly to scale model car collectors like me and to classic car lovers.

My daughter loves to read this book. We checked it out at the library but she wants to read it every night so I guess I'm going to buy it.
It's cute with some rhyming and counting.

The art and words work together in this charming book for young animal and car lovers. We had lots of fun reading and rereading it. Great book! thanks.

I live in the Rochester area but it took visiting friends, who brought this book with them, to discover the area's treasures. We spent a wonderful day following one of the trips - the directions were superb, the explanations about each structure were well done - in short - I bought the book, read it, found some more hidden delights! This book is worth every penny!

"Cobblestone Quest" presents 17 self-guided tours, of cobblestone structures in upstate New York, that can be taken by car or bicycle. If you are unable to travel to this area, but enjoy learning about interesting architecture you will still enjoy this book. The authors, Rich and Sue Freeman, begin by presenting a background about the history of cobblestone structures.

In the United States, from 1825 to 1860, 90% of these structures were built within a 65-mile radius of Rochester, New York. The authors also discuss the geological makeup of the stones and the building techniques used to put the structures together. They mention that cobblestone is actually a construction method and not an architectural style. The most common architectural style of the cobblestone buildings is Greek Revival. The buildings are all unique unto themselves.

The book contains many photographs so that if you are unable to take the tour, you can see what some of these structures actually looked like. I really like how the book is set up. After reading the background information on cobblestones, the tours begin. Each tour lists the distance involved and the approximate time of the tour if taken by car. The authors give very detailed directions on where to start the tour and how to get to each location, much more descriptive than you would get from Mapquest.com!

Very interesting descriptive information is given about each address. At most stops, the original owner, the year built, the time period and the style are also listed. I really enjoyed reading background information that was given about the people living at these sites and how some of the buildings have evolved over time. Some of the homes have continued to be owned by the descendants of the families that built them. "Cobblestone Quest" is a book that I would highly recommend to readers who enjoy traveling to interesting places and learning about the places and people who have resided there. These tours can be taken by car, bicycle or by armchair as I did. I would also recommend it to people that live in the area of Rochester, New York. I think that they would find it fascinating to learn about these places that are in their own backyards.

Very insightful view of the struggle between those that love GM and want to see GM return to the top competitor of the industry and those that love their job and are too fearful to support change. Accurate depictions of the behind the scenes tactics of the key players of change. For those change agents in today's Fortune 500 world, there is a great deal to learn from the few in GM that are very good at corporate renewal. The best book I have read about the Jack Smith era of GM and how he got there.

If you wanna know how a big automobile company works, this book is a must on your private library. As former Ford Brazil employee I can tell you that Ford and GM are almost the same Company with same problems. The earlier you get the solutions the sooner you go to the top. Most of the times the true enemy of a big company is itself not the competition. Tight competition is wonderfull and necessary. Michlelin tells you exactly how it works. She is briliant. Want to understand Ford and the industry? Check the books Car : A Drama of the American Workplace and Comeback : The Fall and Rise of the American Automobile Industry.

We've been to Colorado a number of times but had no idea most of the sites described ever existed. I guess that's because most guidebooks don't include things accessable only by dirt roads. If you have or can rent a four wheel drive, this is a must.

Gregory knows Colorado and has written the best travel companion for Southern Colorado. Like Scenic Colorado - Northern Region, this volume is tighly constructed to offer the traveler the best, in-depth information for enjoying the region. Included are very detailed directions to breathtaking sights that most would miss without Gregory's assistance. Also included are very accurate suggestion on how long you'll want to plan to visit a site, best times of day to take photos at the site and many other helpful tips. Knowing Colorado as he does, Gregory shares both his knowledge, and passion, for the region with his readers in a well prepared text that allows the traveler to discover and enjoy the state in a way usually reserved for the natives.

Where Mr. Wingrove deals with the more generic aspects of the craft of building model cars in the first volume, the second volume deals indepth with creating a Bugatti Royale masterpiece, the book contains scale drawings, numerous tips and tricks and covers basically all aspects of such a build. In addition Mr. Wingrove explains many special techniques and the use of a large variety of tools used to make these extraordinary models. I consider it a must have for evryone aspiring to become a master modeller or trying to improve their skills. I wish I had purchased both volumes years ago. Highly recommended. Even if one were only to learn 1 or 2 extra skills from these books, they will be well worth the money!

Mr. Wingrove has some amazing talent! I am just getting started in brass modelmaking and I bought this book and his The Complete Car Modeller 1. Both book are indespensible for the wealth of information in them. I could not recommend one book over the other as both of them have unique information in them. However, I was really looking forward to the release of the second book because it covered scratchbuilding car panels in copper plate. This is covered more indepth in the second book.
