Professor Dodge has written an excellent text on the use of mathematical programming in statistics. This book which was published in 1985 was probably good for its time. But many new texts have come out for missing data methods and particularly for applications to longitudinal data. This book also predates the landmark text by Little and Rubin which was published in 1987 with a second edition out just a few years ago.

I usually purchase a Motors and a Haynes repair manual to get a different perspective of repairs for a vehicle. Since both Haynes and Motors are written by the same author. The repair manuals are identical in repair details and illustrations. In other words, save your money and purchase either the Motors or Haynes.

This book has some neat shots of old power wagons, but the only color photo is the front cover. For $.. I expected color, I was a little disappointed with that but otherwise, if your into power wagons, a must have.

I have several Haynes manuals for several different models of automobiles and while I find this one generally helpful, it falls short of the usual Haynes quality. It is particularly ambiguous when it comes to interior trim and equipment removal. For example: in the index there is an entry referring to removal of speakers on page (I forget), but when you go to that page there is nothing about speakers. Haynes usually beats Chilton manuals because of the extensive photo usage, but this one falls short.

If you aren't doing anything too complex this will be fine, but don't fool yourself into thinking this will make you into a mechanic.

Book is always recommending mopar performance parts which are excellent parts but very expensive. Would be nice if book listed OEM specs for cams, manifolds, cranks, blocks, etc. so a budget engine builder could pick out used parts or compare new parts to specs of original parts if desired. For example book recommends LD-340 aluminum intake made by Edelbrock as 'the intake to have'for a 340, but does not mention that the OEM cast iron intake was designed by Edel and has same performance with some extra weight. Book says quench type heads cause detonation which is completely wrong. READ

I am really into the retro craze. I love the fine lines and textures of midcentury modern. Fabbro has the knowledge of the period needed to construct these books-and this one is often quite cheap to buy! This one is chock-full of great ideas-and maybe some that are just average today(the book was originally from 1955-mine is a 1974 copy). For the price, the information cannot be beat. Now, these are real projects, so more than a hammer, measuring tape, a screwdriver, and glue are needed. However, if you're up to it(and I am no handyman), there're some great ideas here for the real retro enthusiast. His other books may be better(I have yet to see them), but, again, this one is cheap. 'Nuf said.

This book really did not help me master the skills need for the tests but it did give practice test but just not enough info.
