I wish every city was documented in this way.

If you are interested in the effects of climate change, and can afford the not insignificant entry cost, you should buy this book. It is particularly recommended for all American scientists who continue to deny that climate change exists. I found the book so gripping that I read it from cover to cover in one evening. However, you should petition the publishers to put a marginally less obscene pricetag on the book.

This book is a tender story about Kelsie McBride and her lovely home Kildare. As a young girl she must leave her home and go to Australia where she meets a heroic thirteen year old boy named Caleb Prentice. There, Caleb risks his life for Kelsie and begins to fall in love with her. She is taken away fom him in a hurry where she must go somewhere else. Four years later, Caleb finds pregnant Kelsie in a boat and realizes that he really does love her. Kelsie and Caleb must admit their feelings for each other before it too late.This is a wonderful book about love and with God, nothing is impossible!!

If you need to know what grapes are doing what, where, in Australia, Darby's your man. Regions, microclimates, wineries and grapes, all cross referenced in every way you can think of and then some. The ultimate reference. I only wish he had told us which of those grapes he drinks to be able to to focus on so many details and wrangle them all in order.

Very nice look at every song.
Also have several colour pictures which compliment the book very nicely.

College-level collections strong in Australian history and early exploration must have Encountering Terra Australis: The Australian Voyages of Nicolas Baudin and Matthew Flinders. It covers the achievements and encounters of these two navigators at the beginning of the 19th century, differing from competitors in examining the voyage of Baudin, rather than Flinders, to provide a different interpretation, reworking facts from the authors' own translation of Baudin's journals and original sources. The contrasting achievements of the two navigators thus receive more of an even analysis here, using both French and Australian sources to authenticate and correct historical facts.

I work at David Fleay Wildlife Park on the Gold Coast, Australia and have seen many different textbook/research books on various Australian animals and would have to say this is the one I recommend for anyone who is only looking at purchasing one book and wants something that covers a large range of Australian reptiles, birds, amphibians, insects and mammals. You can get more detailed information books on specific animals or species but they are usually also a lot more expensive. If you want a reasonably priced easy to read book with wide coverage and the basic information plus a little more, then this is the one for you.

In addition to the written text you have photographs on most of the animals as well as shaded maps of Australia indicating where they are found. There are even some diagrams and coloured sketches of various features of some animals such s claws, eyes and skin.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good research book on Australian animals or anyone who just has an interest in Australian wildlife.
