This is an excellent resource for the calorie counter on the go. It really does fit into your pocket. It also allows you to track what you eat by looking up the caloric value and turning a dial to accumulate your intake for the day. While foods are not tracked by brand name, all food groups are covered.

Dr. Fehr's and Dr. Stewart's book is a great account of different dieting and exercise methods. I found this book in a used book store in New York and love it! I only wish this book was more available to the public, or that the authors would write a sequel. Thank you Dr. Fehr and Dr. Stewart!

THIS WAS A VERY INFORMATIVE AUDIO FOR ME. IT TAUGHT PROPER WALKING TECHNIQUES. THE MUSIC WAS UPBEAT AND I NEVER TIRED OF IT, EVEN AFTER MANY, MANY WALKS. KATHY'S INSTRUCTIONS WERE CLEAR AND SHE EVEN ADDED FUN FACTS AND INSPIRATIONS THAT KEPT ME MOTIVATED THROUGHOUT THE TAPE.

I am the type of exerciser who enjoys walking (skiing) with friends & has a habit of thinking that I've done more than I really have. This workbook has helped me maintain a consistency & honesty in my walking/nordic skiing /resistance training that I haven't had in the past. I am on week 28, I've lost 25 pounds, and I feel better than I have since I kissed 25 good bye. The interesting tips and helpful facts make this more than just an exercise log. I've enjoyed mine so much that I'm ordering a book for my mother and when I reach my 52nd week I'll be ordering another one for myself. Happy walking!

Wonderful accurate honest information about losing weigh, given in a very loving helpful guilt free way. Believe this is one wonderful way to look at helping not only Christians but all with weigh loss. And not only losing weigh but how to help your self look at other areas of your life that you might want to change. Also very helpful for other who do not have to lose weigh but lives with someone that does and wants to help them. Have tried so many books on losing weigh and this is the very best that I have read. I used this and another of this guy's tapes and they are better than most Hypnotic type tapes I've used. I like his approach- Lets me learn something while I change. Oh and they WORK which is always a nice side benefit! Still a few more pounds to go but doing GREAT!

I want to congratulate the author for writing Weight Control: The Medical Reality. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It presented technical medical information in an informative yet interesting manner. It is packed with thought-provoking ideas and facts. I found excellent information to help maintain good health. The information is presented in a clear and logical manner so that medical information is easy to read and understand. I found the glossary informative as well. I have read many books in my teaching profession and this is one of the best that I have come across. I highly recommend it to all age groups: teens to seniors.
