Teen Health Books

This is the book my son uses in school health class.It was worth the money for him not to have to cart it back and forth to school since they share books and not always available when needed for home work.

I think this was one of the best books I could have ever given my daughter. It's a valdation for parents of teenage girls. She finally understood some things I tell her about boys, relationships, & self esteem are true & everyone goes through them at one point or another. I hope this author publishes more books, I would by them in a heartbeat!!!!

I think that this is a good for me to read and for other teens to read to save them from being a mom or dad in the teen years and I would like to read this book and get a good Idea on how to save myslef and who is my boyfriend from being parents at a young age

Not only does this book give teens logical reasons to wait until adulthood to have sex- it also teaches them to withstand peer pressures for a variety of teen issues- My teen and I really enjoyed the love test that the author placed in the book. She told me that she uses it now to determine whether or not a friendship or possible relationship with a boy is really worth pursuing. This book is a great tool for parenting.

This story was filled with so much emotion and detail that I felt as if I was part of the story. I was able to relate to each phase this boy went through, causing me to laugh and cry. It is such an incredible struggle that I often wondered just how much of this story was really fictional. Mr. Smith has a knack of pulling you in and making you truly care about the characters in his story. I think people will relate because millions of people also are forced to deal with the same issues endured in this story. I strongly recommend this story!

This book was perfect for our teen with diabetes. It was very thorough & easy to understand. My teen liked the stories about other teenagers & actually read it herself!

I would recommend this book to any teenager undergoing any type of change. This book helped me cope with my unbalanced feelings during my parent's divorce. One day I was able to bottle up all my anger, and act as if nothing had happened. At other times, I would just break down and cry. Ups&Downs helped me realize what I was doing and taught me how to prevent myself from doing so. Now I am able to face the facts and live my life the way it was before.
