David Adam's pungent, freshly minted prayers in the tradition of the Celtic saints are strong medicine for overdoses of prayers composed in the theologically abstract mode. Adams artfully and ably demonstrates the possibility of full-orbed, life-encompassing communion with God. His uncanny resonance with the visions of St. Aiden and St. Cuthbert must certainly pay tribute to the ambiance of his post on Holy Island (Lindisfarne).

This was one of the first books I ever read on reincarnation and today,
after having read many, many more, it is still my favorite. I have purchased this book many times for friends. Wonderful book by a wonderful author. Published by the Edgar Cayce Foundation (ARE).

In this greatly needed and highly informative book, Torkom Saraydarian tells his readers the TRUTH about psychism, both higher and lower, and explains the differences between them.

Nowadays, lower psychism is so blatantly advertised on TV that people can call a given number and are told that they "will find out their future" - only to be erroneously "counseled" and misguided, sometimes, from then on, depending upon how gullible the inquiring person may be. Some lower psychics are only interested in making money and a lucrative career for themselves; still others may honestly THINK they are helping people, when in reality, their TRUE service should be to "help others to help themselves." It is a sad situation.

The general public, by and large, is profoundly ignorant regarding psychism. All too often what information is available is misinformation given by those who are ill- informed and/or misguided themselves. Often it is a case of the "blind leading the blind." As one proceeds into this book, Torkom Saraydarian wisely advises HOW to advance; to depend on one's OWN logic and reason, to avoid dependence upon astral entities, so-called "masters" and guides; to develop thinking, build the antahkarana, study, meditate, serve, and develop psychic energy. These are the SAFE ways to unfold the powers of the soul. The "way" is always to be found within, by seeking one's Inner Core, the Self, and striving to be all-inclusive in one's life expression. But there are pitfalls along the Way, and the author points them out throughout this book. There are helpful exercises given for self-actualization, and there is a wonderful chapter about the Solar Angel and how this glorious Being can lead one to higher levels of awareness and beingness SAFELY.

Referring to higher psychics the author explains that: "High quality means that the psychic is pure physically, emotionally and mentally, in contact at least - with the Intuitional Plane and is protected from interferences," and says further that the higher psychic is accepted by Hierarchy and the Plan, while the lower psychic is not.

For those who have been drawn to lower psychism, not knowing what it is all about, this book offers them TRUE guidance and an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of life on the physical plane and hereafter. The author teaches the wisdom of independence and the importance of taking responsibility for one's own spiritual advancement. This book is designed to help lead humanity out of its present condition of chaos.

This is an excellent book. Easy to read, yet full of profound insights for bringing your vision to life. McCall has put us all in his debt. Not only does this book get us thinking, but it moves us to action. Vision, entrepreneurship, goals and life itself are crucial issues that are addressed and explained in provocative and challenging ways. In this practical guide there are lively and thought provoking chapters throughout, and all merit careful contemplation. Don't read this book too fast. Take it slowly as one of your favorite things that you cherish. One notices early on that McCall has deep theological convictions that are woven into the fabric of the book. His view is that Vision and God go together. The book reads as a "conversation" with an author who has thought and lived his conclusions. I'm grateful that he decided to write this book so that many of us might benefit from his cultivated wisdom and advice.

One of the best books I've read about how to help the American people... full of facts and well documented. If you are inspired by truth... it's a "must read."

If you are one of the myriad American church members who go to church to get away from the stresses and suffering of others around you, do not read this book.

If, on the other hand, you have been thinking about what Jesus meant by loving your neighbor as yourself, this is a very practical place to find out how we can be about this right now in the US. Those few of us who are looking for solutions are moslty organized into little single-issue groups which really have no power. And US culture is so individualistic that the idea of exercising power together to solve problems which press upon our neighbors, but often not upon ourselves, is almost unthinkable. But when we band together, we can actually make things happen (which is the definition of power.)

Linthicum knows how to do this and has the scars to prove it. He explains the basics of organizing clearly, and has good discussion questions. He also has good resources for getting involved. There are several networks with different styles, but basically do the same work. One of these networks has an affiliate not far from most Americans, and I'm sure inquiries would be welcomed.

What authority does the Law have in the life of the New Testament believer? The answer may disturb you. It did me. Be forewarned. Dr. Bahnsen is not writing comic-book dialog here! This is tough stuff. It demands your attention. It demands thought. But the rewards are great. This book is a blessing. This is the definitive biblical counter to situation ethics and moral relativism. If you are a Christian, you really ought to consider it your duty to find out what the Bible (both Testaments) has to say about issues of morality. What does it really mean to "love your neighbor"? My wager is that most of us Christians don't really know.

This book presents two approaches for camera calibration. The first approach explains the photogrammetric principles of camera calibration. The second one explains the computer vision point of view. Photogrammetry by its very nature aims at rigorous modeling from images. Therefore, the physical and the geometric aspects of camera calibration are treated in great depth. In addition, the random component associated with the observed information is treated in a correct statistical sense. The collinearity model is central to most of the photogrammetric calibration algorithms. On the other hand, computer vision algorithms, in general, mainly concentrate on producing quick and fast algorithms to comply with the nature of their applications. Linear models are the driving force behind most of these algorithms. There is a great synergy between the two approaches if it exploited with a deep understanding. Well-known researchers in photogrammetry and computer vision author this book. I recommend this book.

This book is not only written well but gives great stories of true heroes we have unfortunately forgotten about. This is a must read for adults and teenagers. Get a true vision of real Heroes again.

A great read, provocative and moving. The authors tackle their story with passion. I hope they're still alive and working on a sequel.
