This book is an excellent collection of articles related to real world economic topics. It covers topics such as rent control, drug prices, and predatory lending in black communities. I am using it as a suppliment to a microecnomics class I am teaching so as to bring the theory we cover to real world issues.

Economic theory has become increasingly narrow and conservative. Economists seem to "live in the blackboard" where markets quickly and automatically adjust to optimal solutions. Unfortunately the world rarely exists on the blackboard. Real World Micro allows a professor to make lectures more robust by providing context and analysis of conservative economic theory.

Real World Micro also spices up the class by introducing controversy and contemporary issues. Students either love it or hate it but all find it interesting.

Any professor concerned with balance in their pedagogy should consider Real World Micro. It is the "left" to the economic theory's "right."

Rennie's work is technical and hard-going in places, but he is passionate and insightful not just on bringing out the ideas of Prof. Eliade, but also on describing the character and role of religion in the modern world. The book deserves careful and thoughtful reading and study. His defense of Eliade's early political involvements seems reasonable and fair. His defense and explanation of an inclusive definition of religion are compelling and helpful. We still have much to learn from Eliade.

Emma Goldman was one of the most important anarchist writers. This collection presents a good selection of her work, ranging through her entire life and covering a wide range of topics. This collection contains a lot of important material that is not present in other collections, such as the Dover volume. This is essential reading for anyone interested in anarchism or feminism.

This book is a must read. Straight to the point. Pure common sense.

I picked up a copy of this book whilst in London, on the recommendation of a friend. I had mentioned that I was involved in the staging of "The Boyfriend", and was a first time musical organiser. Matthew and Stella hit all the key points, and give a heads up for sticky issues. I recommend it highly to all those keen producers out there.

This is a one of kind book by a one of kind writer and doctor. I am on my second copy, my first in paperback wore out long ago.
