What a great book! As soon as I put it down, someone else in the family grabs it and is soon chuckling.

Finding the right book for children can be a thankless task. Fortunately, the author's fine sense of imagery and subtlety make this a delight for children as well as parents. An antidote to the mindlessness of many children's books, Astronauts are Sleeping mixes the dreaminess of Pink Floyd with the resonant images of Dylan. Highly recommended.

This book is nothing short of a life saver!! It tells in great, UNDERSTANDABLE, detail on how to set labor rates and parts prices, as well as how to figure and understand key profit indicators. With this information you can not only get a handle on what is right and what is wrong, but also communicate with your banker and accountant.
This is the third book (I think) in an eight book series, and even though it stands alone, I found it helpful to read the volumes leading to it.

Helped me see the world in a fresh, new way! Stimulating and creative perspectives on nature, seeing like a child sees, God's wonders. Wish I had read this years ago. Have given a copy to each of my grown children and told them, "This is what I should have told you and done for you when you were young." Will not neglect wonder awareness for my grandkids! Each chapter made me think and writing style kept me going. . .

I bought this for my 1 year old...and he absolutely loves it! He laughs everytime Bard pops up...and the story is just the right lenght to keep his attention! He is a big Baby Einstein fan and I'm glad I found this book! It think it helped that he recognized who Bard was.

This is a very colorful and simple book that has big pictures my 10 month old really loves. Each page has a different picture that you can make sounds to. This really hold the baby's attention. My son loves the helicopter and makes "raspberries" for the sound of the propeller. Perfect for babies.

When Grandma bought my one-yr-old baby this book we were so excited! Baby cannot stop asking me to read it over and over again. She likes to smell the fruits: strawberry, banana, apple, peach and lemon. The only issue was that we all thought the lemon smelled a bit minty, lol. Found out baby doesn't care to smell the peach. Overall a great learning tool. I prefer books that are interactive like this. Best part? NO BATTERIES! :)

This is one of my 14 months old baby's favorites. It talks about all the different kinds of things that babies can do and has great rhythm. The illustrations are pictures (bright and colorful AND diverse!) of other babies so even though my daughter is an only child, she still enjoys looking at other babies. But the mirror in the back is perhaps her favorite, because even though she LOVES to read with me, she also LOVES to look at herself in the mirror (it's not a real mirror, obviously, because this is a baby book). She also loves this book for car trips because she can look at other babies AND make faces at herself in the mirror- very cute!
