Yifan Yang should write more books. She writes with much clarity and authority based obviously on her profound understanding of the TCM fundamentals. Anyone whether student, practicing physician would find this book a treasure to be kept as a reference and guide to their understanding of the TCM and its applications. Very very good work. I will not hesistate to purchase any of her future works. The precision and clarity of her words with regards to TCM Herbal Medicine is profound and illuminating. MUST HAVE BOOK in your LIBRARY ARCHIVE!!

I bought this wonderful book a month ago,read it carefully.It's a small,compact, up to date book with all the basic information regarding common skin disorders.
It is quite informative,pictures are clear and nice,sections,diagrams and Illustrations are well arranged.I recommend this book to all dermatologists,medical students and health professionals.

The editors have really done a fantastic job of compiling psychopharm data into one reference. The reference covers medications by category and class using tons of tables and a standardized layout that allows one to contrast and compare. The "extra touches," such as tables of drug interactions, tables listing the effects of each med on specific neuroreceptors, and tables listing the freq of adverse reactions, make this reference a gem. Several other wonderful things have been thrown in as well--a section on ECT, a section on herbal products, and a patient information sheets that can be copied and passed on to patients. In summary, this reference provides a clear and concise view of psychotropic meds. A must buy!

Recommended in "A Basic List of Recommended Books and Journals for Support of Clinical Dentistry in a Nondental Library" in Bulletin Of the Medical Library Association, July 1997. However, the lack of a recnet edition is dissapointing.

As a clinical pharmacist I have found this text to be quite comprehensive in its approach to discussing patient pertinent therapeutic assessment and achieving desirable outcomes. I especially believe that we are better able to link our pharmacologic knowledge with every day realistic situations and make the most rationale decision after considering all factors influencing the communication process. The case studies assist me to do my own assessment and reflect on my personal experiences. This would serve as a great tool both at the academic and practicing level.

Dresser and Rosenbaum have carefully put together a valuable resource for anyone involved in or considering clinical research. This is a complete guide to performing research for new clinical products that will help prevent many of the pitfalls that are easily encountered in this line of endeavor. The wording is precise and clear and the outline logical and easy to follow. This is the first and arguably best guide for performing accurate and meaningful clinical research. The authors' strong backgrounds in this field validates their methods and guidelines. An essential for the library of anyone involved in clinical research.
