Surgery Books

I would like to review this book, but respectfully request a review copy first for this institution (University of the West of England) before we adopt the text.

First, this book and Dr. Shield's "General Thoracic Surgery" are two bibles in this field.
Second, I found mis-typing on page 436.
Not Narake and colleague(1978), but Naruke.

If you need a brief, compact and logical explanation in trauma problems, don't hessitate buying it. It helps you memorizing sometimes monotonic topics that seem to be all the same. It brought freshness into my trauma study, I started to like trauma more after reading this book.

This book is a great learning tool! It "teaches" you about your own body, how it works and why you should care about what you eat, exercise, etc. The book is very well structured, with an objectives list at the beginning of each chapter and reasoning skills questions at the end, that helps you develop study and observation skills. This is a great book that changed the way I see my body, I learned a lot with this book!!

The book is very useful for doctors like us who have started doing ESS recently. We are able to tackle the problems in Rhinology ,with a great deal of confidence . The topics have been selected so well and have been dealt with in great detail.The recent concepts like minimally invasive fess should be included in the next edition .

This is beyond doubt the best text book of microbiology for dental students. It is informative, illustrative, and enriched with very clear illustrations, photos, and tables. Moreover it is very helpful for dentists who are applying for postgraduate studies and degrees. Its language is easily understoodand it is well organized.

If your are interested in learning and mastering the basics of orthognathic surgery.....this is the book for you.

This is a great book for a 3rd or 4th year orthopedic rotation. Written at a basic level that is easy to understand and follow

Really wonderful book for who want to kwow more about small animal anesthesia and analgesia. It was my bether choice.
