AN EXCELLENT BOOK FOR ALL FINAL YEAR DENTAL STUDENTS

I feel this book is an essential tool for finals, providing a step by step guidence through a range of dental scenarios of varying complexity.

If could could read only one book in preparation for your exams or clinical practice, this would be it. It provides an essential set of clinical problems, poses relevant questions, then goes on to explain the case answers and underlying pathology in a readily-digestible format.

A "must have" for medical students or junior doctors!

I have read part of this one already and am very impressed with it. It is very boiled down to what you need to know.

This book is great. small enough to fit in a lab coat pocket, but stuffed full of information. guidelines on how to recognize different wounds, documentation, and how to treat. this is a must for any health care practitioner who treats chronic wounds.

Over the past ten years, carbon dioxide laser surgery has made impressive strides and now is applied to every field of surgery without exception. It is the intention of this book to record the work done in this field and much more.

In 200 pages you can find all the guidelines how to select an implant system, the simple and true method to choose the right patient, and all the cases using the Branemark System. Nice photos but at the end of each section.

Half way through my residency I saw this book out on the table in the library. Having done my fair share of hip arthroplasties and other hip procedures I felt good about what I knew. The problem was I did not know what I was missing! Wow. It is amazing that someone has put so much thought in to a single topic. I ended up buying MacNicol's book, and studing every detail of it. It really chaged my understaing of the hip. I never even looked at a straight forward total hip the same way. If you are a PGY 4 or higher and due a fair amount of hip work it will really change your understanding, PGY 2 and 3s go study your fractures for now!

The authors take a difficult topic and make it simple

An excellent book, easy to read, important points appropriately high-lighted, pictures with clear anatomy. Extremely helpful for someone interested in Asian eyelids as well as those who are new in this field.

Michael Block is considered one of the pioneers in implant dentistry with countless publications in peer reviewed journals and serving on the board of several academies. It is to no surprise that this book features the very latest in dental implant surgeries and associated grafting procedures. The book is well written and documented with excellent illustrations and images. This is also a great book for the general dentist who does not perform surgery, because it puts the entire implant treatment progression into a very good perspective for successful treatment planing.

Michael Block is an extraordinary educator and this text demonstrates his teaching abilities and his knowledge of implant dentistry. He sits on the education committees of several scientific academies for a reason. There is content appropriate for all dentists, not just Oral Surgeons. The text is easy to navigate through, there are ample references that will be helpful to students and educators alike, and the images, etc. are helpful towards clarifying concepts in implant dentistry. It is a must for every advanced implant surgeon and cutting edge restorative clinician.
