Cosmetic and Plastic Books

I strongly recommend the entire Wills Eye Series for ophthalmology residents. Full color photos and concise descriptions. More useful in a pinch than the BCSC series, although note that this series has no test questions.

I have been reading its book below: GOLDWYIN, R. M.; The patient and the Plastic Surgeon. Boston, Brown and Company, 1981, 256p. You are very clear in the statements. It is worthwhile to enter in contact he/she eats the information on the plastic Surgery. I like the way a lot and of the cases that it presents in your book. I am clinical psychologist and teacher of Vocational Guidance. I am in the middle of the doctoring. I do for the University of São Paulo.

This book is an excellent refrence on perforator flaps, it is well written and covers in great depth the detailed anatomy and applications of perforator flaps in the field of reconstructive surgery.

Stuff you need in final examinations in Plastics as well as stuff asked by the consultant during rounds. Helps in remembering/reviewing classifications. Great to keep in your white-coat pocket!

This is an excellent text with excellent illustrations. It was purchased as a used item with a description of "like new" condition. The actual condition of the book would be better described as "worn cover, yellowed and dog eared pages".

Plastic Makes Perfect was informative and smart as well as light hearted. Author Wendy Lewis uses her vast industry knowledge, trade secrets and personal experiences to educate readers while helping them achieve their goals. I now feel like I'm going into my surgery with the knowledge I need to make the right choices. Get this book if you are thinking of having plastic surgery or just want to improve your look!

A must for any Plastics Engineer

Photos are excellent. I have done some of these proceedures for the first time after study of this book.

Drs. Kryger and Sisco have done a great job simplifying the most commonly encountered problems in plastic surgery (including hand, reconstructive, craniofacial and cosmetic surgery) and explaining the treatment and work up for these problems.
The book is small enough to fit in a lab coat pocket or small bag and is a MUST for doctors who encounter these problems in the ER or clinic.
I bought mine in residency and used it daily as a quick reference and I still use it when I encounter zebras in practice.

It is a great book, I had the chance to read it. It takes you step by step guiding you through nasal reconstruction from the basic etiology through a detailed illustrated technique of surgery. Until now there is no other book in the field that is detailed as much, and clear enough for both the beginners and the profissionals in reconstructive surgery. I believe that it's the Bible of nasal reconstruction. A must have book. I was really happy when I found it on Amazon. But I didn't recieve this item till now, it has been more than 40 days since I placed my order and it seems they don't have it in stock, and yet they state that they have it. I wonder why they advertise it if the publisher is out of stock.

within the last 10 days the price of this book fluctuated markedly between $245 in Fab 06 to $1380 and now it is $680. Either the system is not working proberly or they don't actually know what they are doing.
