Good book for people who are unhappy in current job and or wanting change to make things better at work for themselves.

This book is a great overview of all the aspects of caring for a dying person at home. It is a compassionate account of what to expect, how the dying person sees things, how to set up the household and all of the practical how- to details. As a new Hospice nurse, I found this book extremely helpful in developing my approach to working with families. The book is easy to read and a wonderful reference to return to.

When we first learned my mother who has MS was going to need home care, a friend recommended the Home Care Organizer. Without a doubt, it has been invaluable in getting us organized...a place for listing medications, physicians, appointments, and a glossary and resource guide (with Internet resources!). Being able to add pages is also a plus. Her home care agency is now considering using it as a gift to every new patient! AND...it's so affordable!

This book has been my 'bible' (figuretivly speaking)ever since I purchased it. I am a Registered Nurse who writes all the clinical content, including rehab, for a home health software company. This book is so inclusive from the most updated PPS/OASIS/HIPPA home health standards for each discipine (PT, OT, SLP, MSW, even RD-Dietary) to care planning, to documentation with samples of each. There's far more than that even. I think it would be great for someone in a supervisor position in the home health setting. I don't know how I ever lived without this book (for my job, that is).

This book is chock-a-block with useful information for homeowners, business owners, schools, anyone who wants to be prepared for fire, earthquake, or any other type of disaster. It has a huge first aid section that covers everything from bee stings to avian flu, and has a great section on immediate care -- CPR, choking, etc.

I particularly like the planning section -- it takes you through easy-to-follow guidelines on how to make your home and your family safe BEFORE an event occurs. The guide also contains useful information on how to respond AFTER a disaster, like how to contact FEMA and the Red Cross, what types of water to avoid, how to cook without a kitchen, and so forth.

A must own!!

If you are looking to design your own home gym, I think you will find this resource very helpful. Some outdated fitness information by the author, but overall, very informative.

This is a very informative book which covers all aspects of providing care to the home health client. It reviews the Home Health Aides role within the Home Health agency. It is an invaluable book that is small enough to be carried with you to be available when needed. It would be useful to any in home caregiver.

Well researched, detailed, yet readable information on antitrust as it relates to the health care industry. A good source/study for anyone wanting more information on antitrust, regardless of the industry.

Carol Bedrosian has taken all of the stress from doing that pesky home care paperwork. This book is essential for anyone in homehealth and especially for a new home health nurse. It comes highly recommended by someone who's own copy is falling apart.
