This is a fabulous little book. It's a series of fifty very short advisory essays all about how to love yourself when you hate yourself. Specifically, Roth's work deals with compulsive eating, and this is her focus here too, but unlike some of her other work, this book is clearly meant to be more broadly applicable to any and all situations in which one might find oneself swimming in a sea of self-hatred. Roth is a humorous writer. She has a similar sort of wit as Anne Lamott, who has written the introduction to this book. Overall I found this book hilarious and moving. I stayed up all night to read it.

No matter how many times it happens, I'm always amazed when I find that there are other people in the world who go through some of the same things as me. This book really did it, it really showed me that I'm not alone in the frightening world of body-image. By the time I finished the second chapter, I had decided that I was going to get this book for my best friend for her birthday, and by the time I had finished the sixth chapter, I realized that I was going to buy it for every single one of my girlfriends for their birthdays.
This is a really amazing book, and the author really knows how to talk to women who are in need of reassurance as well as a little shove (or a big one) in the right direction.
I suggest it for women of all ages who struggle with any sort of body/self-image, no matter how long that struggle has been going on.

I read a few books by Geneen Roth, including this one, in the beginning of 2003. After reading them, I gave myself permission to stop "dieting", and allowed myself to eat the food I like, thinking that if I didn't feel deprived that I would eat less and lose weight. I also kept away from the scale. The result was I gained 30 pounds in 9 months, before stopping myself from this upward climb. Its taken over 4 years to lose those 30 pounds. To this day I still regret reading those books. While I don't think its healthy to obsess about food and counting calories and body image, I do think we need to be careful about what we eat.

Best (non)diet book I've ever read!

I originally checked this book out of the library. I loved it so much I bought a copy and am reading it again. I also purchased two copies to give to good friends. This book may or may not help me to loose weight, however, it is so uplifting and encouraging it has really helped to change my attitude towards food and not to be so self-loathing.

Cholesterol Down: Ten Simple Steps to Lower Your Cholesterol in Four Weeks--Without Prescription Drugs

All I can tell you is that this Cholesterol Down eating and exercise plan works! When I decided to get this book, I had already tried to take two different prescription cholesterol medications, but I could not tolerate the side effects. Well, the side effects with this plan turned out to be my total cholesterol going from 234 to 166, triglycerides going from 133 to 89, LDL (bad cholesterol) going from 167 to 69, and HDL (good cholesterol) went from 56 to 80. At the same time, totally unexpected, my diabetes A1c test was PERFECT (5.8) for the first time since I was diagnosed 4 years ago.

The book is well written and easy to understand. She explains what cholesterol is in a way that a lay person can understand. She also explains the science behind choosing the foods she includes in the plan.

The second half of the book includes a daily planner for working these foods into your diet, numerous suggested menus and recipes. I really didn't use her recipes much, although they looked good. I worked the foods into my diet using menus I was already comfortable with. I was already exercising 30 minutes a day and eating a healthy diet, but did not know which foods were best for lowering cholesterol before I read the book.

If you're serious about getting that cholesterol down, this is the book for you.

Too many of us in the US want a "quick fix" to every "problem" that comes our way, whether personal issues or public policy. The plan outlined by the author is just that - a quick fix - - or so the cover leads us to believe. We much prefer to treat symptoms than address the cause of the problem in the first place.

That said, I bought it because (1) I'm educated ( a continuing process ),(2) statistical correlation between elevated cholesterol and adverse health conditions exists, (3)"they" keep lowering the bar re total cholesterol levels, (4) the use of statins can be dangerous, in addition to being costly, and (5) my historical levels of cholesterol exceed currently accepted average guidelines.

Brill's plan had a positive impact on participants cited. It may be doing the same in my case - though I've chosen only 8 or the 10 steps. We'll see. That said, a CT scan of my heart shows zero plaque, and my calculated cardiovascular age is 15 years less than actual. I believe I'm in good health - and intend to stay that way. This is proactive choice on my part. I'm not under a physician's care and even if my cholesterol levels remain the same, I expect to continue most of the steps chosen. I've concluded they make sense.

Brill educates well in the first 42 pages. Whether you choose to adopt any of her suggestions in principle or with a specific objective, the subject matter is important. In truth, the broader issue as it relates to overall health is that of oxidation and free radical generation. LDL levels are indicators, but the culprit in CV disease from what I've read is VLDL and inflammation - - triglyceride levels are a more important focal point than LDL by itself. Neurosurgeon author, Russell L Blaylock, can provide interested readers additional comprehensive knowledge of basic mechanisms of disease and how nutrition impacts the process.

Cholesterol DOWN is worth your time and the few dollars it costs. BUY IT. READ IT. SHARE IT WITH OTHERS. Most importantly, learn to identify and focus on the CAUSE of things you believe to be problems. Quick fixes are a foolish waste of time.

This is one of the best books available on market today for anyone struggling with the dos and don'ts of meal plans. It is direct and to the point and no matter where your learning curve is you will have no problem reading and gaining all of the necessary tools and tips with this very well written book. A must have for folk who have no idea where to start when the doctor says "we must lower your cholesterol".

This is a well written book that really teaches the reader how to lower their cholesterol. The book fully explains why each of the 10 foods were chosen and backs it up with research. I have just started the program and the foods (oatmeal, almonds, beans, apples, etc.) are simple to eat and taste great.

I look forward to my cholesterol being lowered when I retest it in the spring. This is a must have book for anyone serious about lowering their cholesterol.

On 11/30/2007 my total cholesterol was 220, LDL 166, HDL 43, and triglycerides 53. My Doctor recommended that I start Lipitor. Before staring Lipitor I researched the drug and side effects and decided that there must be a better way. Today 2/5/2008 after using the "Cholesterol Down" recomendations since 12/15/2007 my cholesterol total is 134, LDL 91, HDL, 31, triglycerides 58. This is an amazing turn around. I did not use the Metamucil as recommended because I was prescribed a blood pressure med at the same time. The concern was that the Metamucil would bind to the blood pressure medication and limit its benefit. I am thrilled and have thanked Janet Brill for showing me the way without drugs. Let me tell you however that you must be dedicated to the diet. It worked for me.

Having now dealt with cancer in my family three times over, I was curious to read other literature about others who have dealt with cancer. My uncle currently underwent a new form of prostate cancer treatment, and is doing very well. What I find interesting is my uncle probably lives as close to Mr. Benedict's way of living, and has throughout his whole life. That did not prevent cancer. That did not cure it.

I am a daughter of a research scientist. I am a country girl and work with horses/ride/train/compete. I am also a writer(when I have a free moment). I like to think of things, read things, expand my knowledge. Knowledge is key to curing anything. The more you know, the more you can fight something.

I've watched my stepfather die of a radical cancer in short of three weeks, at the ripe age of fifty(dying on Christmas day. A rare blood cancer). He never even knew he had it. He was highly atheletic, ate healthy, never smoked. He still died.

When writing a book, I feel an author does have a certain responsibility to the public in showing a balance of information to the reader. This is the only place I found this book lacking. It was very one sided. If you eat a certain way = bad. I don't disagree with the theorires of Mr Benedict, but rather the lack of other information available out there. Truth be told, doctors CAN help patients. Patients can help themselves. There can be a yin and yang of both.

My grandfather just passed away at 93 years of age. He ate beef and eggs daily. He never smoked, was physically active his whole life, and stayed that way until his mid eighties.(perhaps because he had a vacation home in New Hampshire and retired there was part of that well-being? I've often felt of New Hampshire as a healing place and loved visiting there my whole life!)

What worries me about this book are some of the medical goings on in mr Benedicts life, and his lack of concern to reporting to a medical practitioner. There are many medical reasons of what was happening to him, not just mediphysical(excuse spelling, not my strong point).

Fact---your body will metabolize food eatten. It does not stay in your system longer than your body is able to eliminate it. There fore, the problems given(physical) were more likely due to stress, life style and other things(I believe Mr Benedict smokes cigars. Sorry, but right there, I Can give you a million reasons for why that could cause every ailment given).

HOWEVER, I am not dissing this book because I believe in it's message. HEALTHY living is key to being healthy. Enjoying your life, living your dreams, and making sure you eat a balanced diet and exercise. This is a key component that is ever disolving in today's life for kids. Childhood obesity and diabetes is on the rise, and you can thank fast food chains and their super-sized meals for that. While I do have to eat on the go with my job, I do not eat at those fast food places...the mere sight of them make me ill. When I do go with friends, and they grab a bite there, I am amazed at the portions now from when I was a child.

There are many pearls of wisdom in the book---do not fear. Many revelations that only a truly deep hearted person would want to share, and share he does--with his heart and soul. That's a GOOD thing, and so rare these days. People seem to want to profess something only if it benefits them. I did not see that in this book at all. I saw someone who went through something so huge and so overwhelming, he wanted to share that. That is to be commended.

In the end, what Mr Benedict is saying, and what I also believe in is live a healthy life. Eat right, exercise and above all else, enjoy and don't lose sight of your dreams.

Having worked in the alternative health industry for 12 years, and studied it for 17 years, I read the book having been on a similar journey as the author's. His is a very unique telling of such a tale. The first time I read the book when it was first published, I didn't agree with or understand some of his points on health or the way he was presenting them, but experience has shown me more clarity.
His is not a 'how-to' instruction book, and he gives clear reasons for why it is so. His is rather a book on his own ideas, and someone following in his footsteps will have different experiences and find different truths working for them.
And his insigts into why he still experiences physical discomforts provides great words for dealing with those types of questions one on this journey encounters from those outside.
And ordering it from Amazon is a great idea. [...]

This is an excellent book. Dirk is an excellent author. This was the quickest read of non-fiction I have had in years. It is great getting a point of view of others, especially, when they write in a down-to-earth style you can understand. Dirk seems to be that kind of guy.

If you are looking for a bit-by-bit blow from Battlestar Galactica or the A-Team...forget it. He only tells us a little about his work. I wish he would have written more because the few parts there were a great read.

This book is mainly about how Dirk fought cancer using macrobiotics. After reading this book I am not a convert, but I learned a lot. I learned that I and most Americans need to greatly reduce our intake of fatty meat and triple our intake of good vegetables. More veggies, a balanced diet and less caffeine and alcohol all lead to a healthier person.

I do not totally agree with him on his views on modern medicine. Yes, there are many quacks out there who think that they can solve any problem you have with a pill, you get addicted to that pill and then you're hooked. But evidence shows that we are living longer today despite our intake of unhealthy food. I think we can thank some doctors and scientists for that.

For me, the power of this book was the fact that Dirk took control of his life that, to him, seemed out of control. And it does seem like his method helped beat his disease.

I hope we have more offerings from Dirk, not only on the screen, but more literary works as well.

I wrote this books in hope that it would bring about an awareness to the people involved in domestic violence. They need help, and we as a society need to put our hands out to these people in need and help them. Each case is similar in the respect that violence has occured. Yet, they are all different situations. We all know someone, who knows someone, who has been abused. Let's help out someone in need.

Carolyn Myss is brilliant, entertaining, witty, sarcastic, irrational, and high-handed at any given time. She admits that she teaches rather than heals because she isn't good at one on one. But she is a gifted teacher. Listening to the CDs the third time I still gained more information and have since shared them with friends of like mind. If you're drawn to increasing your knowledge of the spiritual journey, this is a great set of CDs to listen to. She offers several interesting theorys, some believable, some not, but still entertaining.

If you are feeling open and you'd like to "wake-up" today - I HIGHLY recommend this audiobook. You can thank Caroline Myss for her insight into the non-material presence in this life and with shining wisdom, bringing it quickly to the material world. This is a wonderful spiritual and scientific lecture series, not to mention a very exciting journey to listen to (even if you never enact her beliefs into your life). It has helped me profoundly with balancing my energy and I did not have to be a mystic to get it. She is a very good teacher.

This audio book is easily listened to in 9 hours, while driving in rush hour traffic on your way to work, but be forewarned that Caroline Myss is not joking around when she embodies the teacher's archetype. What was once a mundane rush hour drive will turn into a vibrant interaction of the energy paradigm. She will teach you and if you are at all a skeptic like I was (esp. about Chakras and unseen mysteries), thinking that you've got the world materialistically figured out, and your reality beat, then you are in for a sharp and exciting surprise. You may find yourself sliding down the rabbit hole of "Who am I? and "Why am I doing this?" and "What is the purpose of my life?" and "Where am I, now?"

These types of awareness-based questions are implied throughout her tales and experiences with anatomy of our body's energy systems. Thankfully, with insight, clarity and precision, Dr. Myss explains exactly what we are made of and it is very reassuring to know that when we do start to ask these questions of a deeper nature, there are guides like Caroline Myss who are brave enough to teach the stuff.

If you think that you might benefit from "therapy", listen to this program. A large part of the effort of therapy is getting an individual to open to themselves, to see themselves as they really are, as a precursor to making changes in their life. Caroline Myss' recordings of "Energy Anatomy" and "Advanced Energy Anatomy" open the door to that introspection, giving you a framework in which to see your past life, and present actions. True, you may not agree with everything she says. But I guarantee you will find yourself nodding in agreement over and over again, at the insightful ways she presents the workings of human minds and emotions. And you will find Caroline Myss offering you answers to many of the questions you've asked yourself ("Why do I do this?" "Why did I do that?") over the years. I'm not recommending you forego therapy, if you really need it. Professional therapy can be very valuable. But I am saying that Caroline's recordings are a terrific way of getting in touch with yourself, and seeing yourself clearly (maybe for the first time), regardless of whether you want to pursue professional counseling, or not. And because (as Caroline says) the mind and emotions are prime determinants of the health of the body, this is an excellent series for anyone interested in taking good care of their body, and creating the best health possible for a vibrant and very happy life. "Energy Anatomy" offers a new way of looking at yourself, at others, and at the world around you, and this program may be the best thing you try this year.

I've used a variety of recipes in this book and am truly impressed with how good raw food can taste (and so is my husband). The recipes in this book are *not* for the novice cook since there can be a tremendous amount of prep work. The recipe amounts make a large amount of food. I'm starting to realize that I need to reduce the amounts to half to suit a home of 2 folks (unless it's a good staple.)

Absolutely every single recipe is great!

I have never before had a cookbook in which every single recipe tasted so very great! She has an incredible gift for choosing ingredients that are unique, and blend the flavors in an absolutely taste exploding way! I can't say enough how much i love this book. The ingredients list is often involved, and while sometimes unique are easy enough to find at a health food store, or whole foods. Recipes are easy to make and did i say delicious:)

Out of the four raw foods books I purchased, this is by far the best.

I have been waiting for this book for a long time - thank you for writing it Renee. My daughter has been the impetus for my entering the unknown world of raw foods - and also a brief encounter with vibrant health some 20 years ago after having eaten raw for 3 - 4 weeks. After reading RAWvolution, Living in the Raw, and The Raw Food Gourmet, eating raw remained, in my mind, as a mysterious other-world privileged lifestyle. Not so after having read Living Cuisine. Renee explains in a clear and concise way, the wisdom and science of the benefit of eating raw - and without any attitude whatever (one feels free to choose some or all of her guidance). Her thoroughness has left me feeling empowered with the ability to wade through the plethora of foods and nutrients, both mass produced and organic, and make informed choices. Quite the gift for someone like me who has spent countless dollars attempting to incorporate wiser choices into my diet, and ultimately giving up through frustration and confusion. Although I tend to like photos (Renee has none), her recipes conjure up images that far surpass the real photos in the other books and I have no doubt that this will be the book I refer to over and over again. What else can I say? -thank you Renee.

I have several raw cook books. I received this one last week and it is quickly one of my favorites. I love the introduction and descriptions and don't at all mind the repetitive nature. In fact, I like that I am constantly reminded of the same things. I've been raw for about 18 months now and forget some things. In this book you don't have to go back and forth to revisit a topic because of the redundancy.

I've made 5 recipes so far; one of her burgers, shakes, veggies, cookies and soups. I prepare raw meals for people and each of these has been a hit with everyone including my 4 year-old daughter. I find that the ingredient list is not complicated, the preplanning is not difficult, and you can simplify the recipes by using dried herbs, frozen corn/fruit to make them in 5 to 10 minutes. (Fresh is always tastier and filled with many more enzymes but if short on time, it's better to make these adjustments then to eat SAD)

I do miss the pictures, but you can get a picture in your mind from the ingredients. I wouldn't skip the book because it lacks pictures. If you are a baker, get this book for the desserts. Introduce your family to decadenct taste without the processing and show them how they can eat dessert for dinner!

As for steaming, I don't do it, but I like how she says, let your body decide. I marinate veggies in a glass bowl in the sun and they are divine. Try this before steaming. Put the glass bowl on the dash of your car during work and come out for lunch. Make sure the bowl has some sun exposure or you might not get the softening you want.

Juilano's Uncook book is also a favorite of mine, but Living Cuisine has the same complicated taste of Juilano's without the unusual ingredient list and long prep-time. I think that both are worth-while, Living Cuisine is definitely for any level though!

You won't be sorry if you purchase this book. Out of 5 people that I made the East side burger for, all said that it was delicious, the best "veggie" burger they ever had!

I love this book!!! It's great for unsure beginners!! The author really helps you with even the smallest details you need to know. I was so afraid to enter the tri world b/c I thought it was so elite but the author made me realize that ANYONE can do it and so can you!! Buy this book if you are new to triathlons and unsure of yourself. You will feel like a winner even before you race!!

Great book. Couldn't put it down- its not really a training book but a "calm your nerves, here is what it is really like" if you are slow, fat and want to be a triathlete. Of course, it works too if your not a slow fat triathlete as well.

I enjoyed this book and have already recommended it to my friends. I'll be doing my first triatholon in a few months. It is a very good motivation and introductory book. I'm reading another book for more detailed information into the actual training.

Good read..inspiring for a beginner...funny...good tips

I read this about a month before my very first triathlon. I had just lost about 25 pounds on Weight Watchers and was about as fit as I ever had been. I went from 164 lbs to 139 lbs and needed to add in more exercise to continue losing. I was very nervous about doing a triathlon but it gave me a reason to train (I didn't want to die or better yet, look like and idiot so I had to do SOME training!) This book was hilarious and gave quite a few good tips for newbies. It is a quick read, very witty and fun. It makes you wonder why you would ever want to put yourself through an event such as a tri but justifies your feelings once you are hooked on the sport! Definitely worth the read...I have now completed two triathlons, one duathlon and am now training for a 1/2 marathon!

Just Do It! And this book will give you the courage to Just Do It!

I have just completed my first season of competing in Triathlons. I owe being able to compete in 4 triatlons to this book.

I started training in September a year ago. I was really serious and read the Joe Friel books and Triatlon 101, which are full of great information. However, they all left me feeling like I was crazy and would never be able to do this. Primarily because I was still way over weight and way out of shape and I was afraid to be with all those skinny athletes. Then I read the Slow Fat Triathlete. I was so motivated that when I finished it I was pumped and ready to take on the world.

I'm still heavier than I would like to be, but I'm in the best shape I've been in all my life. I'm over 50 and I'm in better shape than I was when I was in the Marine Corps over 30 years ago (oh and I was skinny then).

I learned a lot from Jayne's book, the biggest thing I learned was don't wait until you loose the weight, start now. I know a lot of people who say I'll start working out when I loose 10 pounds (or 20 or even 5) and it never happens. Heck, I was one of those people. But now my motto and my Tri Buddy's motto is JUST DO IT! She completed one this year and I completed four. We are now training for next year. All I can say is Thanks Jayne you are my hero.

The Cancer Prayer & Support Team of the Cicero UMC in Cicero, NY has purchased this book to give to those in our church who have been "touched" by cancer, either in their own life or a family/friend.

This book has received fabulous reviews and we will continue to purchase the book when our current supply is depleted.

The best book for hope when newly diagnosed wtih cancer.

I have given this book to many people when they learn of a new diagnosis of cancer. It was given to me 7 years ago when I had lung cancer.
When I opened its pages, I felt like I had found somebody who knew what I was feeling and had written it down. My feelings were now validated. And they were validated with hope. "Hope" was the theme through out the book.
The title says it all.

A MUST read book!!

Wow! This book is just amazing! The first time I picked it up I couldn't put it down, it felt like it was speaking right to me. I am a daughter of someone who has a "terminal" diagnosis, and this was just so uplifting to me and really helped me to understand where my Mom is right now. The author really made the treatment that we are struggling with seem like a meaningful journey, as opposed to just something to get through. I can't wait to give her my copy and I am ordering one for everyone I know that cancer is a part of their life. I can't thank Vickie Girard enough for writing this wonderful book!

This book is an absolute must for every man who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. It explains all of the options in clear, detailed language, and it gives you an idea of what to expect if you choose proton therapy, as well as comments from dozens of patients who have undergone treatment. Bob Marckini has been a godsend to many men and can be to many others who decide to read his book.

We read Bob Marckini's book: "You Can Beat Prostate Cancer" which is a
definitive and indispensable personal study of treatment methods and their results. We heartily recommend this book for anyone trying to make an informed decision on their course of treatment. In Fall of 2007, I was treated at Loma Linda Univ. Medical Center with Proton Beam Therapy as recommended in the book. My test results since have been consistent with the excellent results for which this facility is renowned.

A "Must Read" for Anyone Facing Prostate Cancer

Bob Marckini's book on prostate cancer is a "must read" for anyone facing the news that they have prostate cancer and must select from the wide array of treatments available. It is a book we wish we had when first making our decision. We got conflicting advice about surgery vs. radiation therapy, and no information on proton beam radiation therapy as an available option. After making the decision to have surgery, which ultimately failed to arrest the cancer, we then were advised to have IMRT by a radiation doctor, and to have "watchful waiting" by others. Still no information on proton beam therapy was presented, but dismal prospects were forecasted in either choice. Instead, by doing research of our own we discovered the proton beam therapy that Bob Marckini found through his extensive research, and reached the same conclusion that it was the treatment of choice. We relived our wonderful experience at Loma Linda through reading Bob Marckini's book, and highly recommend it to anyone facing similar choices. We rate this book 5 stars!

When you first hear the diagnosis of Prostate Cancer, your mind starts to race in many directions. You are obviously concerned about your health and your options for treatment. Then you start talking to various doctors regarding your treatment options, and you are depressed with the possible side effects. It was at that moment that I learned of Bob Marckini's book "You Can Beat Prostate Cancer and You Don't Need Surgery to do it",and after reading it, I had hope again. This book not only serves as a thorough analysis of your options, but promotes the option that many doctors don't tell you about. Bobs' advice to be proactive and to take control of pursueing you options, is invaluable.

Being exactly the same age and having the exact same test sores as Bob, made this book even more relevant. This book served as my most valuable tool as I attempted to navigate a very difficult and confusing time in my life. This book also served to reassure me as I learned of the common struggles that we all go through because of this illness.

I appreciate Bob writing this book, it has made a tremendous difference in my life, and I would consider it a must read for everyone over 50 years old.

This is the place to start

Prostate cancer is complex, and it's a cancer that strikes at the heart of masculinity, so it's not only fearsome but hard to talk about or even think about except with dread. And it's even harder trying to make a decision on what to do, because there are so many treatments out there and more coming all the time, and everybody says their treatment is the best. What this book does - in simple, straightforward language - is not only describe the disease (he has the only comprehensible description of Gleason scores I've ever seen) but offer choices. It tells you how to about making a decision on something that's going to change your life forever. It's weighted heavily in favor of proton beam therapy, because that's what the author decided to get and came out of it very happy with the results. For example, eight years later he's alive! And well! And functioning! The bottom line is that there's a wealth of information out there if you know where to start looking, and that's what this book does so well - give you tips and leads and education and the stories of people who have walked a mile in your shoes. If you want to take charge of your life - which now happens to include prostate cancer - rather than leave the decisions to other people, this is the place to begin.

The Color Atlas of Anatomy was recommended to me as a reference for designing implantables and surgical instruments.

As a non-anatomist, I found the illustrations and cadaveric photographs to accurately reflect my cadaveric surgical trials in the wet-lab.

I often referred to this atlas while designing an Achilles Tendon repair instrument and other orthopedic surgical instruments.

There are not very many books of this type of presentation to begin with so I must be careful here as to how I may sway your opinion of high priced books. Color Atlas of Anatomy has been a staggering companion to my study of Human Anatomy. After careful study of Grey's Anatomy for Students along with Clinically Oriented Anatomy I don't believe I was ready for what was presented in the fifth edition of Color Atlas of Anatomy. Astounding revelation. I don't know there may be a few of you that have actual access to Anatomy Laboratories but I must say everything is in the right place as far as what I was told in the books mentioned above but this book is something else as far as what you see is what you get. Color photographs make short work of any pedantic ravings of the layman's terminology. I never did get to go to any medical school in North America but I'm sure that any student there would agree there is no trick photography here.

There are 1158 figures with 1035 in Color and CTs and MRIs as well. All in 8 chapters and over 400 pages. This is not a book to leave out for the hackers to scoff and judge so keep it under your bed or better still in your locker at your Medical School.

Most of the Medial Schools that I want into have this required or recommended as a text and unless you can say something's changed in the last hundred days since 2007 all is as it should be.

A must for anatomy

In case it isn't clear from the description or title, this is an anatomy atlas made up of photos of actual human bodies. I don't know why we didn't have this in A&P. Fascinating, and a nicely produced book as well.
