I am impressed with the concise yet thorough presentation of information in this book. Even as a dentist, I learned a lot from reading this book. It was actually required material at my dental school. Despite this, the content of this writing is understandable for anybody. I would highly recommend this to any parent interested in providing their child with the best in dental health. Try it, you may find that you will know better than your dentist the type of care your child needs.

This small paperback book helped me to realize that I am not the only person in the world who is terrified of the dentist. When I was little, a mean dentist hurt me and I can't get that out of my mind. I liked some of the strategies that Dr. Kroeger teaches to his patients, like imagery. Now I'm thinking about making an appointment with my husband's dentist. Maybe I'll try it again. I would highly recommend this book to anybody who is afraid of going to the dentist.

WOW, thank you Dr. Lake for openning my eyes, i wish i had read your book one year earler when i spent $4,000 on root canals and crowns (and having all 4 of my wisdom teeths pulled out).
