This text is one to keep chairside at all time! It is easy to use and cuts right to the chase. Most patients today are on multiple drugs and it is hard to keep up with the names, uses, general and oral side effects, interactions, etc. But this text allows a quick flip and you instantly know the answer to most questions without having to lug out the PDR. It is also on computer disc, a boon to the well-equipped office.

This book is excellent. It presents an overview of partial denture design and some clinical and laboratory procedures. This book is very easy to read and is suitable for all dental personnel who would like a refreshing recap of removable partial dentures. I would very highly recommend this book to all dental students and graduates who are pursuing a postgraduate course or those who are interested in partial dentures.

This book outlines all the possible applications of indirect resin restorations. Each is illustrated with photos from the author's own clinical work. The book is objective in discussing the pros and cons of the techniques and materials available at the time it was written. I have attended courses at Dr Stean's practice, in London, and this book shows his meticulous approach to aesthetic (esthetic) dentistry and teaching skills.

As a pre-dental student, I found that reading and reviewing this book was very beneficial to me. It clearly explained essential terminology and anatomical structures of each tooth in the human jaw. From this, one could understand almost every intricacy included in this book. Such fascinating information ranged from tooth and crown morphology to trait relationships and geographic variation. It also provided great background information on the inception of this valuable discipline, illustrating the research conducted by many individuals around the world along with important dates and facts. The other point I'd like to make about this book is that it identifies many new facets of research that has not yet been started, but could provide a sundry of new knowledge and practical application.

This is a must reference book for every Dental professional.All the subjects are in a logical order and in a very understandable manner.The appendix part is very useful.Ýn one sentence, this book is something like flight manuel of Dentists.

The book is an ideal source of information for the dental student or technician just starting to learn about dental materials or for any person who has an interest in such subjects.

With clearly marked sections the book deals with topics in a clear, progressive and easy to understand way. All topics are approached with the attitude that the reader knows nothing about dental materials but with the aid of well annotated diagrams, graphs, tables and photographs all subjects are explained smartly and to the point.

In short this book is an essential appendage to the budding dental material scientist

This book is really useful and handy. It is very well written and easy to read. As the name stated, it provides very practical guides for those who don't have strong background in Statistics but are dealing with longitudinal data. It is written in an example guided format. The outputs from the analysis and guidelines on how to interpret them step by step are included. There is no heavy Statistical notation and you don't need to translate Statistics into English. At the end of the book, there are chapters of how to handle missing data and softwares used in longitudinal data analysis. This book is probably too boring if you are a hardcore Statistician.

I am a second year dental student at the University of the West Indies, School of Dentistry, Mount Hope Medical Sciences Complex, Trinidad, W.I. This book was a recommended text on our reading list. I used the book to prepare for my recent dental exams, and as it turned out I managed to top my class...I guess this is a reflection on how student oriented this book is.

I really enjoyed reading the book. It was never a bore, and the illustrations were very helpful in visualising what was being narrated in the text.

I highly recommend this book to all dental students and I also feel that those already in practice should have a view of this book to refresh their minds.

There is much knowledge to be gained from this book as it provides the beginning student with a firm foundation upon which to build on.

This book(atlas Clinic) is one of the best atlas of the diseases of the oral mucosa, is very important have it in the consultory and privacy clinic and the use of the practise of Dentistry, It is also available in diferent lenguages for example in Spanish.
