I thought I knew all about Reiki however this books made me enthusiastic all over again. Using fresh ideas and simple logic the authors put their heart into it. Whether you are new to Reiki or just using this a a refresher I highly recommend you keep a copy in your Reiki library. I refer to "Your Reiki Treatment" on a regular basis. Thank you.

I found it very useful for a potential client. As a practioner, I found it even more useful for practioners. (I wish they taught in my area.)

Over the past several years of being exposed to Western style training, I was truly left feeling very empty and directionless. In many ways, I feel that the past several months of reading Bronwen's and Fran's books have begun to help refocus me. This latest book is VERY grounding, practical, realistic and helps describe what the client could expect. This is also good for the practioner...and what they can expect. In many ways, I feel that the Western style of training has different expectations, which in the past had left me directionless.

Initially, I thought the book was going to be about the classical "what a client can expect at a session". What I found though was that the book contained a lot of early Japanese Reiki wisdom that help tremendously to reshape my view of Reiki in a more healthy way.
The original tradition of Reiki has so much to offer...most of which that has gotten lost through time.

I find this book recommendable for both beginners and advance practitioners with or without any practical experience in Tai chi, Chi Kung ,etc. There is a wide selection of methods and techniques to choose from.
The book gives a short description of the history of the various Methods and Techniques and informs the reader on the pupose of the exercises in enhancing health or as a preventive measure against certain ailments. The Illustrations are very clear, the presentation is well structured and the instructions are so simple and easy to follow. I really enjoy this book.

I am a fitness fanatic who has tried everything. After reading the ancient way to keep fit i have become one with my body and mind. The training is different from that which you would do at a gym it is something deeper.This book was easily read and the pictures make preforming the exercises quite easy.This is a good book for anyone who wants to feel better mentally and physicaly.

This is a wonderful guide book for those who want to feel the bliss of existance that is available to us right now. This ancient science is made easy and accessible for modern westerners. Mark Jones has perfected these practices and attested to their effectiveness in a completely down-to-earth and believable way that enables the reader to simply stop procrastinating and do these practices right here, right now. This is a wonderful little book. I sent a copy to three friends because I enjoyed it so much. The writer's exuberance gave me a lift just reading it, his joy is contagious. While he has a good foundation in the Eastern mystical tradition, his path is one of enjoyment of the physical life as a gift from Spirit. The book would be worth the price just for the third chapter which has so many techniques for Spiritual awakening. Many have spent years if not decades searching for these "secrets" I keep the book on a table so I can see it during the day, not only for the beauty of the cover photography, but because the title reminds me of how we should embrace each and every moment.

This book is used by my massage school as a support in the teaching of shiatsu. I found it extremely useful and helpful for someone who started learning about shiatsu. The book really goes into details about the origins and objectives of shiatsu, as well as the TCM (traditionnal chinese medicine). Half of the book focuses on theory (yin/yang, five elements, the meridians, the organs, the body fluids, the acupoints, then TCM...)the other half focuses on a shiatsu routine design for a first degree shiatsu treatment. I read it three times already. There is a lot to assimilate. Hopefully Mr Dubitsky will write a volume two and a volume three soon...

Hi, this book is wonderful! Written with the intent of combining the educational text book information but including pictures, diagrams and language that would enable one with no formal experience learn some shiatsu massage skills. I am working towards my massage therapy license and this book is a gem. I unfortunately bought this book from a store a and am kicking my-self for not going through Amazon.com, because I would have saved money. Oh well live and learn... ;-)

The Universal Dao system is the best system for westerners to learn this incredible art and the SAFEST; I stress the safest because this kind of training in no joke.

Nei kung (aka Iron Shirt III) teaches the practioner to breath through the bones and skin; drawing in an incredible amount of energy into the body for healing and regeneration. It is an advanced practice; if you are unfamiliar with qigong or starting out you need to learn the following; inner smile, healing sounds, microcosmic orbit; iron shirt 1; healing love and fusion; the reason being that if you have a lot of energy you need to now how to process it; recycle it; channel it and finally store it; otherwise the energy can make you very ungrounded, excessively sexually aroused (hence the need for healing love); even violent.

Master Chia, as always; presents his teachings with a loving and humble heart to help us back to the light and provide a more balanced way of life. I recommend this book for other practioners who have been training seriously for a few years or anyone who has an interest in the healing arts and wants a no nonsense guide.

I have a number of Mantak Chia's books and DVD's. As always, this book is no exception to this Master's ability to explain in detail the methods of practice involved in perfecting his art. Thanks to Masters like Mantak Chia, the practices of Taoism are available to the world. Thankyou.

This book is truly groundbreaking! Not since Don Juan of Carlos Castaneda has the science of the Assemblage Point been presented so clearly. The case studies presented in this book show that this treatment can very well be the next major health care method of the 21st century. I just hope that the world is aware enough to embrace such a revolutionary practice.

This is by far the best and most thorough book ever written (along with it companion texts) on Qigong and Qigong Therapy. This is a must have for any library thats includes Chinese medicine, Qigong or mysticism. There is a lifetime of information contained in these texts.

Ok, back in 1999/2000 I was all about trying to find books in the enlglish language that gave the reader step-by-step working techniques in Taoist Magick/Sorcery. Some unfamiliar with Zheng Yi Taoism pass off Taoism as just a "form of philosophy". They were never exposed to the Zheng Yi magickal side that involves registries of spirits and gods and demons, and techniques on how to command these celestial beings to command millions of spirits under their command. The paranormal side is something that Paul Dong covers in some of his books, but this series is THE best to put it ALL TOGETHER! This is actually one of the best metaphysical systems over all complete with healing, qigong, inner alchemy, yoga, psychic development, magical techniques, metaphysical understanding of the multi-verse, psychology, treatment and diagnosis of the whole spectrum disorders with Qigong medicine, energy work, energy anatomy and physiology, etc, etc, everything, EVERYTHING!!!!!

Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson has done us a favor by being the first to present such powerful information in the English Language at such a level. Before him, you would have had to speak Mandarin to learn such material.

He deserves over 5 stars. I hope that in the future, he will take me in as a personal apprentice!!!
