The photographs are absolutely stunning and the recipes very easy to follow. If you can't whip up some homemade anything while using this book then I would suggest you gave up on Apothecary as a hobby.

This book is a nice introduction to alternative 'disaster-surviving'. If you did not know that tea-tree oil, raw honey and quite a lot of other natural products can help you to survive any disaster, you should read the book. Most products can be found in health shops or on the internet. However, some products seem to be rare to find or can only be found in some specific shops/websites. And in times of disaster it's not sure you can order these hard to find (natural) products. I can't imagine that there are no other alternative to Liv-52, intestinalis, N-acetyl Cysteine etc... The author does not mention colloidal silver etc... which made me think this book is incomplete or just an introduction. Nevertheless the author has done a marvelous job in writing this most interesting booklet. I wish there were more of them !

This book is a good resource at a great price! The book has a lot of European research so it is sometimes hard to follow, but there is a great wealth of information regarding clinics across the globe in the back. A great asset to an infertility library.

Ray Sahelian is so good at researching and documenting the benefits and possible side effects of a variety of natural supplements. He has done an excellent job, again, with this book on how KavaX has so many positive attributes. I have a variety of books on Kava, and feel his is one of the better ones. If you are researching Kava,buy this book.

Good introduction to wholistic medicine. Covers a wide range of topics and summarizes the basic principles. Everytime I open a page, I learn something new and even if I re-read it, I always gain new insights. Very handy to bring around and makes an excellent gift for those who are interested in learning more of themselves and the mind-body connection.

I want to thank the author for clearing up the differences of the many Ginsengs available! This book does contain a lot of information that is very helpful to people like us facing a fertility problem, but it is not easy reading. I encountered a lot of terms that I needed more information on - and got none!

Written by a doctor for doctors. Gives you all the info about nutrtion, vitamins and minerals, where they're found and how to treat if needed. It's an invaluable reference for any doctor who wants to treat patients using nutrition.

I am enjoying reading this book. I believe the technics will help me remember.

I have read the book several times and continue to use it as a reference. It provides extensive information about natural ways to achieve and maintain a healthy heart. The book also makes an excellent gift. I have given it to friends and associates, all of whom were very pleased to receive it. Personally, I am using the knowledge acquired from the book in a program to lower my cholesterol level without using prescription drugs, and it is working.

This book is a nice compilation of integrative medicine as it pertains to the prevention of heart disease. As a practicing physician, one is bombarded by questions that were once considered foul territory; now, questions related to alternative medicine are now on the real playing field.

Although lacking cited references, asides from "recommended readings", the author writes in an interesting manner. An easy to follow, non-stringent guide to diet, relaxation, vitamins and natural nutrients are discussed. The book looks at the way to help oneself in the battle against heart disease with assistance from a physician.

The book may be a bit more detailed with "science" beyond the needs of the lay public. Nevertheless, this is a quick flowing book that opens eyes to alternative practices, without bashing conventional medicine.
