This book is a good introduction to the principles of homeopathy and how to use them in first aid and minor situations. Is repetitive at points, but mostly only to get the point across. Contains a good repertory and Materia Medica for the amateur treating conditions within their limited abilities

This book is great for beginners to homeopathy. It is very easy to read and understand. Makes a great reference tool as it is well organized. Could have had a bit more information but what is there makes a lot of sense - many books on homeopathy have so much information that one feels lost reading it. Again, great for a novice but would probably be too basic for someone with a lot of knowledge already.

For those wanting to know more about homeopathy this book is a must. Cook Does a good job at explaining the mystery of homeopathy. He is consise and very learned.

A very detailed and good book from one of the pioneers of Homoeopathy.

Excellent guide; easy to use. It gives very concrete information which makes it easy for you to choose the appropriate medicine to give your child. Moreover, it offers an excellent explanation on what homeopathic medicine is and its advantages. I highly reccomend it to all those seeking for alternative ways in which to help children's ailments.

I really admire Jane Brody, but some of the material in this book is 4-5 years old. In the fast paced world of integrative medicine, some info seems a little dated.
