I became interested in rife machines, and the hope that they might bring an end to my 13 years of Lyme disease suffering, after reading the chapter on electro-medicine in Bryan Rosner's second book, The Top Ten Lyme Disease Treatments: Defeat Lyme Disease with the Best of Conventional and Alternative Medicine.
At that point, I knew that I needed to purchase Rosner's first book for a deeper study of rife machine therapy. Since he recovered from a devastating case of Lyme using rife machines himself, and since he is an eminently-readable author, I trusted his analysis of rife machine technology.
My family and I have not been disappointed. Rosner's Rife Machine book has been our handbook not only for understanding rife machines but also many other supportive measures (especially detoxification of Lyme poisons and by-products) which must be employed if rife is going to work.
As with his other books (The Top Ten Treatments and the 2008 Lyme Disease Annual Report), Brian shines as a true journalist - objective and understandable. He does not minimize the suffering involved in recovering from Lyme (due to the Herxheimer reactions and detoxification regimens), but prepares the reader for them gently and honestly. As with his other books, he does not betray a loyalty to any specific rife manufacturer or Lyme treatment provider of any kind - although he does quickly and efficiently expose the reader to the names of the most reputable rife manufacturers, detoxification experts, etc., which streamlines the research process for very sick people such as myself.
Finally, he provides additional sources of information, many of them on the Internet such as Yahoo discussion boards about rife and other therapies, so that the reader can quickly connect with thousands of other real people with whom to share their woes and discuss viable treatment options. All of this helped me identify which rife machine to buy first in a matter of about 48 hours!
If you wish to find a real, possibly permanent solution to the Lyme infection ravaging your body, please consider the information presented in Bryan's book and also his second book, The Top Ten Treatments for Lyme Disease, which will probably help "close the circle" of complementary therapies to rife.
Please note: I am not a medical professional of any kind. Please consult your regular physician(s) and other health-care providers for information and relief if you believe yourself to have a medical problem of any kind. Also, please consult your regular physician(s) and other health-care provider(s) before attempting any treatment for any medical problem you believe yourself to have, including treatments such as rife machines and those described in Bryan Rosner's books, discussed above.

If you or someone you love has Lyme Disease or any other tick bourne illness, then you absolutely owe it to yourself or to them to read this book. I believe every Doctor on the planet should read this book! There are so many illnesses which truly are Lyme related, this is an epidemic which the world needs to be made aware of.
Rosner does a superb job of detailing alternative methods of healing and gives you a light at the end of the tunnel. If not for the information reavealed to me within these pages, I would have probably died of complications due to Lyme and it's co-infections. This is written by someone who has really done significant research and knows what he is talking about. I value every word of Rosner's books and this is another one that I would never be without!

As a person who has the difficult diagnosis of Lyme disease, I have to say that this book gave me a very clear view of exactly what I was fighting and helped me develop a successful game plan for treatment. I was even able to better educate my doctor about the disease and about effective protocols using electromagnetic resonance therapy. I'd recommend this book to anyone who has or knows someone who has Lyme disease!
Well researched, well written, and highly informative.

Bryan Rosner has written two well researched and easy-to-read books, both for people with Lyme and for the health care professionals who treat them--The Top 10 Lyme Disease Treatments and When Antibiotics Fail: Lyme Disease and Rife Machines. Lyme disease is a difficult and debilitating condition that most often defies the best of what allopathic (Western) medicine has to offer. However, Mr. Rosner has offered us a variety of non-invasive, holistic, cutting edge methods, sometimes to be used in conjunction with more conventional therapies. Rosner explains what works, why it works, how it works, and why it may not work. I consider both of these books indispensable. They belong in the library of anyone who is seriously investigating this disease.

If you want to understand the various types of equipment related to Rife technology, this is the book for you. It is complete, giving a thorough explanation of each variation on the technology, how the various pieces of equipment can be used, and details about both the original and subsequent developers. The author does not provide a list of manufacturers, which would probably be outdated quickly. She does make herself available for reasonable questions if readers don't understand something in the handbook -- a real rarity in this impersonal age.

When one becomes 'hooked' on healing frequencies and has access to the Internet, one can't help but Google all over the place searching 'bio-energetic frequencies', 'Rife frequencies', 'frequency healing', etc. Such is my dilemma (or my delight). I have found Dr. Silver's wonderful book here at Amazon.com.
Dr. Silver toiled for ten years to put together this book which I consider a tour de force and/or virtuoso (I can't imagine a fitting superlative). I think every Rife Machine user ought to own a copy of this wonderful book. Not only does she give a short Royal Rife history, but also information about how to use a Rife device, protocols, do's and don'ts, detoxing, etc....plus, she presents a 200-page Frequency Directory which is 10 times more informative than the CAFL. In other words, it's everything a Rife Machine user should (and must) know.
My wife and I love, love, love this book! We have a Rife machine and we use this book like a Bible. We are dependant on it to identify frequencies for various family maladies which we then program into our Rife machine and have had good success! I am in awe of this book. That she could so diligently and carefully research all this data and present it so scholarly, skillfully, and artfully makes her a real hero in our household.
With our Rife machine, documentation, and Dr. Silver's book, I feel omnipotent -- like there's no malady we can't tackle here at home.
Sincerely,
rsp, Los Angeles

Having read The Holistic Handbook of Sauna Therapy by the same author (there she spells her name "Nenah Sylver"), and really liking it, I thought how could I go wrong? It's a little pricey, but I figured if it's half as good as the other book, I'd get my money's worth. Well, I was totally blown away.
The author begins with a comparison of holistic healing and Western medicine. I found the distinctions important, and there was a lot I didn't know or hadn't thought of before. For instance, drinking water can influence the outcome of clinical trials. And by denying patients the right to participate in their own medical treatment, you actually make them worse. (Which is what Western medicine usually does. Two grandparents and an aunt died in hospitals. They weren't too sick when they went in but they got sicker the longer they were there.)
The chapter on Dr. Rife gets into the history and how his technology worked. I never knew about a machine that could kill microbes but was safe for people and animals. Rife cured cancer and other illnesses in the 1930's and for a couple of decades after that. Use of his machines would have continued had it not been for the interference of the medical industry. "Industry" is the operative word here, they didn't want anything to interfere with their sky-high profits.
Apparently a number of machines are made today that are similar in principle to Rife's original device, and easy for the average person to operate. We learn how in great detail in chapter 4. The technology is good for cancer, liver disease, all types of infections, even diabetes and MS. Chapter 5 alone is quite an education. In addition to frequencies for microorganisms and conditions from A to Z, Dr. Silver (Sylver) explains how the body works and how to troubleshoot symptoms. I learned a lot about medicine just from this chapter alone.
Chapter 3 deals with all types of holistic therapies. Food (she has columns on "yes" and "no" foods, and explains genetic engineering in a way that anyone can understand), nutritional supplements, oxygen, melatonin and the brain and sleep, bodywork, water, etc., all in one handy place. She also warns us how mega-corporations are trying to seize control of our food and water. Chapter 6 mentions studies on prayer and distant healing--a bit esoteric, but there's some practical advice here too on how to deal with the dying and death, and some dynamite political commentary. Clearly, this lady is on the ball.
Like in her other book, the good Dr. provides extensive footnotes and a lengthy bibliography. It's fun to open up this book and read at random, since every page is full of interesting tidbits. After reading her other book, I started saving up to buy a sauna. Now I can't decide, I'm thinking a Rife machine might be better. But in the meantime, I can certainly spring for a 100 dollar colloidal silver maker, discussed in one of the appendixes (it's cheaper than either a Rife machine or a sauna). And I just got rid of my microwave, never realized how dangerous it was.
It's sad to think that this technology has been with us for almost 80 years, and hardly anyone knows about it. But if you read The Handbook of Rife Frequency Healing, you'll be ahead of the game. Even if you can't buy a Rife machine (yet), you'll learn enough about how to keep healthy to keep you busy for the rest of your life.

Many alternative health books are written haphazardly. Nenah Sylver's books are written professionally. Simply stated, her books speak to years of dedicated study and hundreds of hours of diligent research. Dr. Sylver's incredible resources have quickly become the standard reference guidebooks for sauna therapy and rife treatment. In fact, without Dr. Sylver's books, much of the information related to these topics would be unknown and unpublished to the public in the U.S. and abroad.
I highly recommend Nenah Sylver's books. They have contributed greatly to my healing journey, my writing, and my big-picture knowledge of alternative health treatment options.

Just as the great electrical genius and inventor Nikola Tesla was truly light-years ahead of his time with his discoveries, Dr. Raymond Rife was light-years ahead of his time with his dicoveries in the cure for cancer as well as other technology that the medical field still uses today, including modern microscopes. And, sadly, just as Tesla was stamped out by the greedy elements of this world because he wanted to give the world free energy, Rife was stamped out because he wanted to give the world his discovery of the cure for all diseases, including cancer. (There are other sources that mention that Rife even built towers, like Tesla did, and transmitted his frequency therapy in order to eradicate diseases in nearby towns, which the government quickly put a stop to). I highly recommend any source that deals with both of these two fascinating geniuses and how much they gave the world, only to get trampled on by greedy captital interests at the great cost of the populace.

If you or a loved one have cancer and you still have doubts about pursuing "alterantive" cancer treatment, this book should erase them. In exquisite detail, Barry Lynes documents the suppression of many cancer treatments and the collusion that made that possible.
Today, with the Internet, cancer patients have much more information available than we did 14 years ago when my former wife and I began our battle with her cancer. Books like Barry's would have saved her life. She was a victim of the conventional cancer treatment "system." Don't let this happen to a loved one of yours. This book is a great place to start your study of today's medical "establishment."
The book deals with the medical and drug company collusion in the United States. But this same dangerous collusion is worldwide. Fortunately, the majority of people recognize this and are turning to "alternative" treatments (actually they should be the primary treatment). In 2002, the number of patient visits to alternative practitioners exceeded those to conventional doctors. Keep giving people truthful information, Barry. It's working.

Lynes does a solid job of looking at the history of allopathic medical racketeering in the USA, focusing on cancer treatments that have been suppressed because they are safe, natural, cheap, and effective. The history of Royal Rife is impressive and well documented, and his proven electromagnetic treatments remain suppressed, with practitioners persecuted by the established allopathic medical cartel and their allies. Lynes documents his research well, and offers enlightenment to those seeking to understand the history of the bogus war on cancer and medical racketeering. The only major aspect of the topic not discussed is evidence that certain elements of global oligarchic powers see allopatic medical control and practices as a means of population control or population reduction.

This book has changed my life. If you have cancer, or know someone who does, I recommend this book to you. The knowledge you will gain about Royal Rife's cancer cures will stun you. The chapters exposing the truth behind the dangers of mammographies and the drug Tamoxifen are something all women (and men!) should know about. Too often we are led blindly into making medical decisions we feel we have to make, and we trust our doctors too willingly. Please educate yourself to other options and alternatives. There is a whole world out there of cancer therapies that have wonderful success. Author Barry Lynes not only exposes medical crimes and tells you the true story of a scientific genius who cured cancer--but it also can get you started to finding health alternatives to treat cancer, and other diseases, too.

Lise Meitner and the Dawn of the Nuclear Age, by J.A. Wheeler is a fascinating book documenting the extraordinary life of an aspiring woman scientist whose life was filled with adversity. Surviving both World Wars and gender discrimination, Meitner was a pioneer at the forefront of her discipline involving the study of radio-elements and nuclear fission. At the University of Vienna and the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute, Meitner was inspired to study experimental physics with a focus on atomic structure by her two most memorable professors Boltzmann and Planck. Meitner's major discovery was her work with Hahn and the splitting of the atom (nuclear fission). This monumental discovery led to the invention of the atomic bomb, which drastically changed warfare. Besides her accomplishments Meitner was a truly inspiring woman for her strength and personal conviction. Meitner barely escaped from Nazis Germany only to be isolated in Sweden from the international scientific community. She helplessly watched her lifetime of dedication and achievement be overlooked by the Nobel Prize Committee countless times, only to have Hahn receive all the credit. In the face of the immanent destruction of her career and life by the Nazis she experienced the pain of being abandoned by close colleagues. Rising above her obstacles she dedicated her life to helping victims of the Holocaust and refusing to work on chemical warfare or nuclear bomb research, but instead working towards awareness of the moral responsibilities scientists needed to have in this new nuclear age.

While there has been a recent renewed interest in the life of Lise Meitner, and a number of biographies have appeared, this I believe is the first one to focus on physics, as opposed to personalities. I may add that the authors do weave together an entangled web of scientists, their thoughts (through correspondence), their ambitions, and their (in many cases) flawed judgments. And the narrative is captivating!
Lise Meitner was born in Vienna in 1878, and she started her career in the turbulent times of the First World War, at a time when Germany was a clear leader in physics research, in the Golden Era of physics. Yet, Lise Meitner was the first woman German scientist; first PhD in physics. When she started her studies, German universities were almost entirely closed to women; and especially so in the sciences.
The authors bring to life the turbulent events in modern history which shaped Lise Meitner's career. A central theme in the book is the physics community's reaction to the first use by the USA of a fission bomb over Japan in 1945.
In Berlin, building on a decade of research by Meintner and Otto Hahn, in 1938, the three Lise Meitner, Hahn, and Fritz Strassmann discovered nuclear fission. The Nobel Prize went to Hahn alone, and Lise Meitner has until recently been largely forgotten. In this interesting book, the authors examine why. Readers may find that the reasons are different from what we might have guessed.
Many of the German scientists in the 1930ties were Jewish, or partly Jewish, and they were dismissed by Hitler in 1933, or in the years up to the war. The year before the outbreak of war in 1939 was the last chance to escape, and the entire physics community dispersed as German scientists had to flee, --- some chose to escape. A small number went to neutral Sweden, and others who had left earlier ended up in the USA, and became leaders in the Manhattan project, the secret Los Alamos team of scientists, led by Oppenheimer, the team which built the first atomic bomb. There were some German scientists, Otto Hahn among them who didn't have to flee. They included Lise Meitner's research collaborators, Hahn, and Strassmann, plus Max von Laue, Werner Heisenberg. At the end of the war, their relationships resumed, and an examination (in the book) of private letters reveals some fascinating new insight. Palle Jorgensen, October 2005.

Patricia Rife has made a scientific subject meaningful in the comprehensible biography: "Lise Meitner and the Dawn of the Nuclear Age." ...I would highly recommend this book. It is well written, and has many personal illustrations to which almost any reader could relate. It also covers a wide variety of grief/loss issues -- much more than just death. It is a GREAT resource to have in dealing with your own losses of life (big or small) as well as helping others deal with their losses as well. It's a must for anyone who has ever experienced -- or will ever experience -- grief of any kind!
A must for everyone

... Then you read this wonderful book. In dealing with loss I would recomend this book to everyone. It's not just someone writing what they think you want to hear, these are real people that have overcome loss and reading this book has truly helped in my healing process and reminds me that God is in control. After reading this book I realize that no matter what trials come my way there is someone who really understands and has been through similar situations and even through my walk with Christ He does have a plan for me.I think that is the best gift anyone can give a person is the assurance that God loves us no matter what and that we are never alone and this book reminds me of that truth.

I recently read When Mourning Comes, and it was an encouragement to me. I could relate to several chapters, including the loss of a parent. A missionary friend lost her husband two months ago, and I shared the book with her. Hopefully, it will be a blessing to many other people as well. I highly recommend it.

This is a great love story and it reminds you that God is in control and we can trust Him with every detail of our lives. I really enjoyed reading this book. I could not put it down, and I would get so anxious when I didn't have time to read it for a few days. I learned a little more about India and their culture. I loved how Eileen used things different things in her children's lives in the book. It was a great story about entrusting God with everything. I really got wrapped up in this love story and I love happy endings!

History Speaks: Pledge of Allegiance by Douglas M. Rife

Pledge of Allegiance issues are examined in this book about the flag and related topics. The book could use some updating with more historical information about the topic addressed. For example, the Pledge was the origin of the stiff-arm salute that was adopted later by the National Socialist German Workers Party. The early salute for the Pledge of Allegiance was the straight-arm salute. Francis Bellamy was the author of the Pledge (1892) and cousin to Edward Bellamy, author of an international bestseller that launched the nationalism movement. Edward's book was translated into every major language, including German. Francis and Edward were both self-proclaimed socialists in the Nationalism movement and they promoted military socialism. They wanted government to take over all schools and impose robotic chanting to flags. When the government granted their wish, government schools imposed segregation by law and taught racism as official policy. That behavior even outlasted German National Socialism. The Pledge's early right-arm salute was not an ancient Roman salute, and the 'ancient Roman salute' myth came from the Pledge. In addition to the notorious salute, American socialists (e.g. Edward Bellamy teamed with the Theosophical Society) also bear some blame for the notorious symbol usd by the National Socialist German Workers Party on its flag. While Edward and the Theosophical Society worked together, the same symbol was used by the Society. It was used as alphabetical symbolism for socialism, and adopted later by German socialists as their flag symbol. Although an ancient symbol, it was altered for use as overlapping S-letters for 'socialism.' It was deliberately turned 45 degrees counter clockwise and always oriented in the S-direction. Similar alphabetic symbolism is still visible as Volkswagen logos. People were persecuted for refusing to perform robotic chanting to the national flag at the same time in the USA and Germany (to the American flag, and to the German symbol flag). All of the above are modern discoveries (do a web search for "stop the pledge") by a different writer, America's leading authority on the Pledge of Allegiance (the author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets").
